This implies that the Post Office is offering the position to anyone who can work without sponsorship. It ought to state "US citizenship requried."

So what's going on? Did the law that requires all federal civil service employees be U.S. citizens get changed?

Apparently the law must have been changed or something, the Post Office application form, PS Form 2951, one of the question states:
1. Are you one of the following: a United States citizen, a permanent resident alien, a citizen of American Samoa or any other territory owing allegiance to the United States?
So what's next? Will laws be passed to allow H-5B visa holders (former illegals under McCain Kennedy amnesty) to deliver our mail?
