HB 4142 TAXPAYER & CITIZEN PROTECTION

    Mission: Support HB 4142

    Task: Call, Fax, e-mail

    Message: (Example)

    To the Honorable Senator ___________,

I'm writing / calling to ask Senator __________ To please support bill HB 4142, there are so many great things in this bill that finally protects the citizens of Illinois, from transporting illegal aliens, to e-verifiy which is a must in protecting jobs for Americans . In-state tuition for illegals is not just against federal law it is a slap in the face to all American citizens from the other 49 states. The bill actually protects our taxpayer money from illegal aliens receiving public benefits. It is time for our Representatives to take a stand and uphold their oath of office they make to the citizens of Illinois, we Americans are getting so fed up the tea parties are about to begin, and all we ask is for you to represent us, not people who break the laws of our state/country and then you allow them benefit from it.

    Respectfully,
    XXXXXXXX

If anyone lives in the Springfield area here is something you can go to tomorrow before our taxes are doubled.

Tea Party at the Capitol Tuesday

    Fellow Illinois Citizens,

This is the final message we'll be sending out about the Taxpayer Tea Party happening in Springfield tomorrow (May 19th, 2009). With this in mind, please make sure you read the entire message to ensure you know the details and, if possible, can take part in the Springfield protest.

As mentioned in our previous message, Governor Quinn and his greedy tax hiking friends in the Illinois House are attempting to push a huge tax increase onto Illinois citizens. This increase would raise the state income tax by 50% and gouge us with a $99.00 vehicle tag tax.

Apparently, Quinn and the rest of his ilk missed the memo. You know, the one that included details about how bad the economy is, how many Americans are losing their jobs, how many small businesses are having a hard time staying afloat, and how most of us here in Illinois are struggling to live under the heavy tax burden across the state.

Tomorrow Illinois taxpayers will have the opportunity to make our voices heard. Join us at the State Capitol to protest Quinn's proposed tax hikes and make sure they know we mean business.

    DETAILS:
    DATE: May 19th, 2009 - Tuesday
TIME: 1:00 PM - 2:00 (ET of closure)

If you need a ride, there are buses being organized that will drive down to Springfield from Chicago. Contact Joe Miller for more information on the bus trip.
