SOS I PM'd you don't want to take forum space.
We may want to make a few more calls to Domenici, Pete V. [R-NM] - (202) 224-6621 and Sen. Martinez, Mel [R-FL] - (202) 224-3041 I have called both but the dreamers are launching a calling campaign to try and flip them.

We cannot let that give us a false sense of security though, but it's amazing how ANY of them could ignore that.
I love Laura. She should run for President. Can you imagine?! :P
YA good for you Cayla!!!Quote:

I'm jealous it won't work for me. I highlight the text go to the font colour and click on what I want, click submit and nothing.Quote:

Chambliss and Isakson voted for SCHIP? If I remember the Senate debate correctly, most Republicans were against because of the 80,000 income level and no proof of citizenship is required; not even a Driver's Lic.Quote:

Ok, playtime over, this is becoming a full time job. Are we sure the slimy little Senators are not holding a midnight vote? If we are, what is our current strategy/game plan?

I'll briefly summarize - basically, only one notable thing happened with respect to the DREAM Act today. No, Durbin didn't bring it up for debate, Sen Vitter spoke on the floor saying that when Durbin introduces / debates his DREAM act, Vitter will introduce a 'counter-amendment' that will require the US Visit program to be in place and operational BEFORE any provision of the DREAM act can be allowed to take effect. That's it everything else today has been Iraq/funding-related.
If you're looking for particular senators to work, please give these guys some attention:
Repubs:
Murkowski (AK)
Stevens (AK)
Allard (CO) *still 'fuzzy' status
Grassley (IA)
Barrasso (WY)
Cornyn (TX)
Hutchison (TX)
Smith (OR)
Ensign (NV)
Cochran (MS)
Crapo (ID)
Domenici (NM) *tentatively has pledged No to NumbersUSA
Brownback (KS)
Collins (ME)
Coleman (MN)
Sununu (NH)
Hatch (UT)
Democrats to hammer hard too - 10 below:
Dorgan (ND)
Landrieu (LA),
McCaskill (MO),
Tester (MT),
Byrd (WV),
Pryor (AR),
Stabenow (MI),
Baucus (MT),
Rockefeller (WV),
Nelson [Ben] (NE)
I did it. I had to copy the bracket with red in it, then deleted the word "text." then I put the words between the Brackets with color words. That worked. Try that Gogo.
Put your words, after you highlight them and copy, and then paste them between the brackets.
HOW FUN! Thank you guys.
Gogo,
Thank you for your very sane post. I am some 40-45 miles from Greenville, but, for all the years I have lived in this area, I am ashamed that I still cannot tell you exactly how many miles, or in which direction!
If you wait a bit after using up all your time, you can select to have the voice mail sent priority hit the number 2....I did that all last night while calling, except very early this morning catching some in around 4 am........staffers that is......
Yes, cayla, I was blue in red.
We'll your pretty close by Texas standards. LOL You're welcome, we're all a little tired but working for a good cause. Keep up the good work.Quote:

when will they listen? :x :x :x
OK so I write my text.
Yipee it was the right click copy and paste. It sure is cumbersome though. Weird to me.
YOU DID IT GOGO. YEAH!!! We are in color. :)
My experience has been the same, there are alot of tired staffers and YES we are winning in getting the no's in. :DQuote:

Yes, when they are assuming our position it tells me they must feel like those old dolls where you pulled the string and they say things over and over. I bet they say it in their sleep. LOLQuote:

Additionally, I spoke with Senator, oh dear, I forgot. Well, it was someone.
Georgia and Gogo it should not be combersum it should look like this.
You did what 8O
{color=red}you did what{/color} you highlighted (you did what)
you did whathighlight all of it and go to font size (click size) preview and it should show you what you have!
{size=18{color=red}you did what{color/{/size}
This what it should look like and it should be easy LOL
But you do have color!
the_patriot, the Tennessee Senators are saying NO, but we must not forget other legislation is coming forward. Lamar Alexander is one to watch for sure. So feel free to call and voice your opposition. We will need this.
