All of the arguments for or against Obama's NBC status or eligibility are moot without verifiable objective evidence and the trail thereof. I still argue the point that given the divisiveness of this issue and the suspicion that will continue to build and plague this presidency, why would someone who has nothing to hide, continue to hide? In this regard, apply your own common sense and if one is intellectually honest they can only conclude that these are not the actions of a servant of the people but the actions of a self serving politician who intends to maintain his power at any cost! He cannot and should not survive politically beyond his first term in office. Ask yourselves, are we to become slaves of a government who live by one set of rules while we live by another? Will we be required to bare all while they bare nothing? Is this not tyranny?Quote:

Interesting reading below. I have moved the last paragraph to the top as it provides the preface for the rest of the post.
US Citizen is defined by the 14th amendment.
Natural Born Citizen is defined by The Law Of Nations, which is cited in the Constitution as its very basis
Not only does the Law of Nations state that a natural born citizen is born in country of two citizen parents, it ALSO says that the patrilineage determines allegiance, meaning Barack’s father who was British/Kenyan determined Obama’s citizenship.
The Law of Nations is quoted in the Constitution
August 8th, 2009
This was posted on Citizen Wells and and Natural Born Citizen.
You Article II s.1′er guys are just going to love this………THE CONSTITUTION DOES INDEED DEFINE NATURAL BORN CITIZEN AS BORN OF 2 US CITIZEN PARENTS AND ‘IN COUNTRY’, further it defines allegiance by patrilineage!!!
Greg Goss wrote:
The Constitution and de Vattel’s Law of Nations has the answer to any questions regarding citizenship abroad and any laws crossing national boundaries:
EXCERPT 1. U.S. Constitution, Article II, §1:
No Person except a natural born Citizen, OR a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President;
EXCERPT 2: de Vattel’s Law of Nations circa 1758 Book 1, Chapter XIX, § 212:
The natives, or NATURAL-BORN CITIZENS, are those born in the country, of parents who are citizens…The country of the fathers is therefore that of the children; and these become true citizens merely by their tacit consent.
Finally, the main item in the Constitution that ties both together:
EXCERPT 3: U.S. Constitution, Article I, §8:
The Congress shall have Power…To define and punish Piracies and Felonies committed on the high Seas, and Offenses against the Law of Nations
Yes, Law of Nations is CAPITALIZED, meaning our framers were citing a proper name. There was only one Law of Nations in 1787 officially declared. And yes, Congress has the power to create and enforce ANY LAW mentioned in the Law of Nations written by Emmerich de Vattel! It was sitting right under our noses the entire time.

Are you sure he doesn't mean fathers in the same sense as it is used collquially, i.e. "city fathers." Once upon a time, the word fathers was litterally true, but not for a long time. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/City_father
I didn't take away that interpretation at all and I can't imagine a court of law would either. It seems pretty clear. Obama's fathers citizenship would clearly exclude Barak Obama Jr. from natural born citizenship status. The framers of our constitution were clever enough to ensure allegiance of any future POTUS.Quote:

What about that American Taliban guy?
I have learned a lot about the pro and con arguments about the BC. Interesting and eloquent postings.
I have one request: can some of you folks get off of this thread and see how the country is coming apart at the seams? And the BC problem has nothing to do with it.
I know it is fun to debate this, but we need help in lots of battles, starting with loopholes so illegals get Obamacare, biased media, illegal crimes being only misdemeanors, illegals getting a redo of our prison system to make them more comfy, anchor babies bankrupting so many states, citizens and legal immigrants losing jobs to cheap illegals, attempts to quash mandatory E-Verify for all employers in Congress, more debt than our great-great grandchildren will ever repay as they won't be able to earn an income, because their jobs have either been taken by cheap illegals or have been outsourced, or they have been replaced by some visa holder.
Call me every name in the book if you wish, but I consider myself looking at all that is going on in this country and am truly worried. We are stuck with Obama and a Democrat Congress, which seems to be falling apart. We really don't need diversions keeping us off the main points.
Vortex, you are making an assumption about those of us interested in this topic...that we aren't already active in writing, calling, emailing, attending meetings etc. to address serious and pressing issues that face us. At least in my case, you would be wrong on all counts. Could it be that perhaps you see those of us who believe in this cause as lunatic fringe elements? Sometimes I wonder myself. As I'm sure that you have keenly noticed, Alipac consists of a very diverse group of people and diverse opinions. That's why there are areas within the Alipac site for "Other Issues and Topics". I am sure that someone would be glad to take you on a tour to see this diversity firsthand.Quote:

Since Kenya would have recognized his tribal marriage to Kezia as a "customary marriage" under their laws, and since Kenya would have treated any later Western-style monogamous marriage (called a "statutory marriage" under their laws) as bigamy if he didn't divorce the tribal wife / wives, there would have been a total roadblock on the second marriage being legitimate under their laws or our laws.Quote:

Anyway, I think he's not being more forthcoming about his status because it would require a full airing of the ins-and-outs of his mother being an unwed mom and he's weighed the pro's and con's of what he wants to project as a "role model" .
Bingo! and add an "Amen" to that. It's the concealment that really belies what this man said about bringing us an Open and Transparent new administration.Quote:

The key is not to "change minds" of people in office but to "change the people" in office to those who already have "sane minds" and sound thinking on these issues. The mid-term election of 2010 needs to be HUGE. And if the economy continues to be weak and if the pace of gaffes coming out of this Administration continues, it will be huge.

At this time, Obama represents the head of the lawless snake of government, and that's why we seek the truth about him and why we seek to remove him as soon as possible.
As far as Congress is concerned, their time is coming - I suspect 2010 will see change the socialists don't want to see. Right now the majority of Congress represents an internal, lawless and socialist enemy of America, and that will need to be fixed in the town meetings and at the polls.
America also needs to restore its lawful money system and dissolve the Federal Reserve Bank (see: http://www.scribd.com/doc/18077819/Patm ... r-on-Money and http://www.conservativeusa.org/vieir100.htm).
State's rights also have to be restored - the fed is the state's servant - not the other way around. Our nation is a confederation of states, not a consolidation of states. The 'Principles of '98' are valid and need to be re-learned and re-enforced once again. This video by Thomas E. Woods, history professor, is wonderful: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid ... 3363208310.
Re-imposing the 'Missing 13th Amendment' should also be on our to-do list, because, as difficult as it might be getting it back into the Constitution, I believe it would solve many of the problems we face today (see: http://www.scribd.com/doc/18029501/The- ... -Amendment and http://www.scribd.com/doc/18237333/Cons ... Maine-1825 - shows the actual 13th Amendment in print).
As you suggest, the problems Americans face are many and resolving them is going to take time. Having said that, it will serve us no good to attack those of us working on this single effort to remove Obama. Obama is a lawless Chicago thug and he simply needs to be removed before he completely destroys our republic.
We are all in this together. We all want the same thing.
We all want our constitutional republic restored.

We live in both very exciting and extraordinarily dangerous times. Exciting in that the recent election has awakened the electorate, a sleeping giant, hungry for change, truth, transparency and a return to constitutional government. Dangerous because our government has run amok and no longer represents the will of the people, but rather the will of ideologues and thugs bent on destroying and reconstructing an entire country into their own twisted image of a social utopia that benefits the few in power and enslaves the population which it was meant to serve.Quote:

TexasBorn, I agree with you 100 percent. When I look at the whole situation of bills getting pushed through when Congress has not had time to read them or even think about the consequences, nor has the American public had any decent input. And now with the healthcare reform being designed, which will hit each of us in our pocketbooks, and possibly cover all illegals on our dime (of course, we already pay for them through Medicaid for their anchors and using emergency rooms for primary care).
Got an interesting email from the Obama gang. Make an appointment to visit my congressman's and senators' office to talk about healthcare reform. I guess the explosions at town halls require a new strategy.
Obama is now in Mexico, meeting with Calderon and Harper and that has my stomach in knots. The stimulus is still not trickling down to normal folk and the TARP funds have been used to pay huge bonuses.
I think people are becoming very politically aware, which is wonderful, as we have been ignored for too long. Doesn't lead to a stress-free life.
I might add that it isn't just the illegals and the money when it comes to Obamacare, it is also the death wishes for our seniors, many who are active in the fight against illegals. Now the current administrations mouth piece has encouraged his Chicago style thugs to use violence agains the protesters, the army is advertising for a few good men willing to be "Internment/Resettlement (I/R) Specialists" to "provide external security to … detention/internment facilities" and "provide counseling and guidance to individual prisoners within a rehabilitative program." Whatever it means, it does not sound good. We are quickly moving from being in a fight for our country to being into a fight for our vary lives. So excuse us if we don't spend enough quality time on a single frontQuote:

I made a rare visit to China-mart last night and saw many people with baskets of stuff they couldn't possibly need and probably don't even really want. They looked like consumer automatons to me.
The Overlords (the European financiers who are half of the future one-world government, OPEC, and China) don't want a revolt - it's bad for business. They much prefer a nation of sheeple at (forced) peace, comparatively, even though freedom and justice disappear. What do they care about our freedom and justice, as long as we keep paying?
Obamanomics is not the only problem. We need to make sure the 14th Amendment is clearly defined, something I have been yelling about for years. I doubt many countries give automatic citizenship, like we do, to babies born on US soil or in US airspace. We don't need foreign workers taking jobs, and there is globalism, real ID, E-Verify, the SAVE Act, the DREAM Act, possible "immigration reform", the Food Safety Modernization Act, outsourcing and where the American has to train his/her replacement, this country is hated by the most violent around the world that are also coming freely across our borders including drug cartels, Lou Dobbs and Glenn Beck are being assaulted about their First Amendment right to free speech and freedom of the press.
The precious words of the Constitution are being assaulted on all fronts. Not only the First Amendment, but the Second and Tenth are also under assault. And there are a lot of other problems starting to bubble, such as foreigners buying or leasing our infrastructure (built by taxpayers dollars) and foreclosed real estate with homes and condos, we pay for translations of our documents and taxpayers pay for translators for illegals, plus granting them Medicaid, food stamps, WIC, etc. Our vital records, including payroll and medical records are most likely in India, and on and on and on.
We have a lot of battles to fight!
My sentiments exactly Minuteman. A revolt is bad for business and they will do anything to prevent one, including the deliberate spreading of lies and deception through absolute control of the media. They now have control over most of the media. Thank God that Fox and several radio personalities have largely resisted to this point and called them out.

The "0" in the middle does look like a letter "O", but it is not the same as the "O" in "MOMBASA".

The location of birth is given as Mombasa. But Mombasa was part of the state of Zanzibar until December of 1963.
October of 1963, to be exact, but close enough. Like Kenya, Zanzibar was a British protectorate until December, 1963.
Quote:
This certificate is dated February 1964 and carries the name "Republic of Kenya", Kenya did not formally declare itself a Republic until December of 1964.
On Dec. 12, 1963, the Constitution of Kenya declared the country "the Republic of Kenya." Some newspaper articles from 1963 also used that name. It had been understood even before independence that the country would be called "the Republic of Kenya." That name was formally declared on the first anniversary of independence, but "Republic of Kenya" had been used from the date of independence and even before that.

EF Lavender (the name given as Registrar) is a laundry detergent.
And by this do you mean . . . the Registrar is a laundry detergent?
The laundry detergent is Earth Friendly Lavender, not E.F. Lavender. E.F. Lavender was the name of the Registrar.
More accurately, from the image of this document before hackers altered it, the name of the Registrar was K.F. Lavouder.
Quote:
The certificate uses the label "Christian name" in a nation that is predominantly Mus|im.
False. You have probably been listening to someone who claimed that the United States is a Mus|im nation.
That someone's cousin, Raila Odinga, has led the recent black Arab thrust into Kenya, pressing for Shari'a law.
However, just as Anglicans largely evangelized Uganda, Lutherans almost completely evangelized Kenya.
On a recent (2000?) census, 88.5% of those between age 15 and 45 (or 50?) called themselves Christians.
Quote:
Kenya was independent in 1964 and not likely to be using British regulatory paperwork.
Why not? The form was perfectly satisfactory, and there was no need to change the printer's original except to put "Republic of Kenya" on it.

Obama is a rather amazing man to have so many birth certificates!
If you think that's amazing, wait until you see how many Social Security numbers he has!

The hoaxers have claimed that this certificate [the computer image of an Hawaii Certification of Live Birth] provided by the Obama campaign is a fake, but have yet to produce any evidence to back that claim up.
PLEASE! Don't go about using "hoaxers" interchangeably with "birthers"! If you have to call us "birthers", then we will wear your intended insult proudly. But don't insinuate that we created a document to make fools of ourselves, which may have been the hoaxers' intent (if this image should turn out to be a hoax).
The Obots have attempted to discredit TechDude and Dr. Ron Polarik (pseudonyms) by personal attacks, but with very few exceptions, these counterfeiting and forgery experts' facts, theories, arguments, and conclusions are still unbreached and unassailable.

But here in the United States, we follow the principle that the ACCUSER must prove the accused guilty, beyond a reasonable doubt.
It depends on the type of case.
Any applicant for a job must allow verification of his qualifications; to refuse to do so is itself a disqualifying act.
Civil suits do not assume, "Innocent until proven guilty;" they are different from criminal suits.
When my daddy gave me a whipping, I was assumed guilty until proven innocent . . . and never once did I prove my innocence.
Leo Donofrio filed a Quo Warranto complaint in Washington, D.C., which is the prescribed way to bring suit for unlawful conduct against politicians and government employees in the District. Quo Warranto specifically requires that the accused present his credentials, rather than that the prosecutor find the credentials which the accused is hiding.

There were no "provinces" in Kenya until 1970. Prior to that they were called "Districts".
At least partially incorrect.
Barack Obama, Snr., was born in Kanyadhiang village in Rachuonyo District, which is an administrative district in the Nyanza Province of Kenya.
You did recognize that Mombasa was part of Zanzibar when Barack Obama II was born? You can't say "Zanzibar" in one paragraph, and in another paragraph, apply to that same place and time the laws and regulations of Kenya.
Oh, you did? Pardon me, I wasn't thinking... that's just what Obots do.
a = b and at the same time a >< b ... it's the dualist philosophy of India ... or maybe just the Indian ganga.
Quote:
Obama's father would have been either 24 or maybe 25 when Obama was born. The certificate gives his age as 26.
I'm glad you have such good eyes. I can't say for certain whether that is a "6" or a "5". The lower loop of the character is more circular than the elliptical lower loops of the sixes elsewhere on the document.
Either the Kenya Registration misprinted the senior Barack Obama's age, or his tombstone incorrectly dated his birth in 1936. I'd be inclined to believe the tombstone over an unverified computer image, but your guess is as good as mine. Either way, an arguable typo for the father's age on a Registration of Birth is immaterial to showing that Barack Obama II was born in Mombasa, Kenya, on the date shown.
The document peculiarities which WhatReallyHappened.com discusses are the least of the problems with this Registration of Birth. They didn't even mention the absence of registrar signatures; the South Australia Bomford Registration with its matching registrar and district registrar names, the matching "No. 495" and the matching book number; and the bogus looking "embossed seal," which appears to be a rubbing of a two-shilling piece. The remaining arguments by WRH have already been answered in numerous places, so I'll call it a night.
But I'll leave you with this puzzle. The Hawaii Div. of Vital Records prints Hawaii COLBs on lightweight paper that is thin enough for the Registrar's signature stamp and the date stamp to bleed through. How then does the bifolded first generation paper copy that FactCheck has photographed and displayed not sag in the picture below? It looks like 24-pound paper stock.

The bogus "two-shilling piece" seal is unchanged.

For debating Obots, remember this:
except concerning the "seal", the debunking at Politijab.com and by WorldNetDaily.com is specious, in that both Koyaan (Steve Eddy) et al at Politijab and the unidentified author at WorldNetDaily debunked the switcheroo and not the first image posted at OrlyTaitzEsq.com .
Here is the anonymous hoaxer's claim of fame at fearlessblogging.com .

What I struggle with is that every bad thing Obama is accused of doing was well underway before he ever ran for president.

Do you follow these site to learn what the left is saying? If so, what have you learned?Quote:

I heard them being demonized by the right, claiming that they had 'voted for the ice cream' (remember that?) as if wanting a middle class life (that you'd worked and qualified for) in your own nation was something wrong.
I remember clearly how bad things were before.
What do you mean by 'what the left is saying' here? Yes, I know a lot of people are unhappy with how the election turned out. Guess what - a lot more people are unhappy now, and the professional ranters (I don't mean anybody here on this board) are ignoring that and wasting an opportunity for real constructive leadership. I saw a bumper sticker yesterday, "sorry I voted for Obama."
Interesting. Thanks. I think you look at more of the social aspects of the discussion, and I have more or less restricted myself to looking at the legal aspects of the question and maybe I'm missing some important parts of the discussion.Quote:

Fortunately, most of the military posters picked up on the slanted B.S. from SPLC and just kept on with addressing the situation with the militias (When they are not out blowing things up and killing people, the military usually sees things pretty clearly).
So, now I'm here on this forum, dedicated to seeing the Obama eligibility question clearly, and am trying to figure how to integrate your thoughts into the discussion. I think I could suggest, at least, the information we get is suspect and needs to be evaluated for truthfulness, and the players in this conflict are subject to personal attacks by a biased opponent.
Now I think I will go and look at some of the legal forums and see if there are any changes worthy of note.
Federal judge calls soldier's Obama challenge 'frivolous'
Stunned warrior: 'I might get crushed in the wheels of the Chicago machine'

TAMPA, Fla. – An American soldier questioning the eligibility of President Barack Obama to hold office has had his latest legal challenge dismissed "as frivolous and wholly without merit," though the basic constitutional issue has yet to have a legal ruling.
The Aug. 6 order by U.S. District Judge Richard A. Lazzara came less than two hours after motions were filed by Maj. Stefan Cook, a member of the U.S. Army Reserve who is seeking a firm determination whether the commander in chief of the Armed Forces is a "natural born citizen," a requirement for those holding the presidency.
"There was no reasoning, no nothing," said Maj. Cook, who noted previous legal decisions in his case included three or four pages of legal explanations.
"It's ridiculous. They're not even saying why it's frivolous and without merit. You can say that to anything with no justification or reason. That's crap. So much for jurisprudence in this country."
Cook's latest motions sought for his case to be reheard in Florida after a judge in Georgia declared lack of jurisdiction, as well as an attempt to have Judge Lazzara, a nominee of President Bill Clinton, recuse himself from the case for possible bias.
Lazarra had previously stated that he, too, did not have jurisdication in Florida, so he had dismissed the case without prejudice. Cook sought a rehearing of the matter with a different jurist, which prompted the denial with the "frivolous" remark. No judge has addressed the main substance of Cook's complaint regarding the natural-born citizenship of the president.
WND asked the Lazzara's office about why there was no explanation in the judge's "endorsed order," and Sandra Hartman, Lazzara's judicial assistant said, "That's standard procedure if a judge wants to use it."
She also indicated, "There's nothing sealed in this case. It's a public record."
U.S. District Judge Richard Lazzara of Tampa denied the latest motions by Army Maj. Stefan Cook "as frivolous and wholly without merit."
As WND previously reported, the Department of Defense allegedly compelled Cook's private employer, Florida defense contractor Simtech, to fire the major from his civilian job after he had his military deployment orders revoked amid his legal challenge to Obama.
"I don't have another job yet," said Cook. "I'm working on trying to find something. I have a very broad but deep background in a variety of subjects and I have built my experience that way just in the event of some catastrophic experience like this."
He also said his legal fight was for "the greater good of the country."
"I might get crushed in the wheels, in the gears of the Chicago machine, but if it's for the greater good and if we can gain some kind of definitive ruling or clarity on eligibility, then that's OK."
Cook, 49, has been verbally flayed in the national media, labeled by MSNBC's Keith Olbermann as a "jackass" and "worst person in the world" along with his California attorney Orly Taitz. Olbermann said:
When I was a kid in the '60s, thinking ahead toward possibly getting drafted, I thought, "You know, if it comes to that, I'm not going to make up some political context or pretext. I'm not gonna invent some sudden philosophical epiphany that I'm a conscientious objector. I'm just gonna say I really don't want to get shot and killed in Vietnam or anywhere else." Too bad Major Cook doesn't have the guts to say that. Then, he might be deserving of his rank, rather than an embarrassment to all those who have served without cowardice. "Don't ask, don't tell" is still throwing out men and women willing to die for their country, but somehow we have room for this jackass Cook and the skirts of this conwoman Taitz behind which he hides.
When told of the remarks, Cook responded, "Keith who?"
"Perhaps Mr. Olbermann would have cared to join me in Kuwait from February 2002 through September 2003, when Saddam and his buddies were shooting Scud [missiles] and such where I was located at Camp Doha. Perhaps Mr. Olbermann would also have cared to join me in January/February of 2008 while I was knocking around in both Iraq and Afghanistan. Should I ever get the opportunity to deploy to either of the two again, he's welcome to join me there."
Cook also wants to clear up confusion among some who suggest he had some sort of ulterior motive to "set up" the government by volunteering for duty and then filing legal action.
An article in Stars and Stripes noted, "the Army reservist's intention appeared not so much to fight for America as to fight against President Barack Obama, in furtherance of a bizarre conspiracy theory."
The Florida resident tells WND he originally volunteered for duty in Afghanistan last October, before the presidential election ever took place. He was responding to a "help wanted" ad placed by the military.
But a potentially serious health threat known as a pancreatic neoplasm put his plans in jeopardy, and he asked officials in December to stop the deployment process due to his condition.
"I actually had [deployment] orders, then got a positive diagnosis," Cook said, explaining he still wanted to go overseas after a recovery time of about six months.
Cook underwent surgery in January of this year, but doctors were not successful in removing the tumor on his pancreas.
By February, the soldier says he had seen Internet traffic that raised questions about the legitimacy of Obama to serve as president, and he contacted attorney Taitz to sign on as a secondary plaintiff in her California litigation. He stresses he did not seek to be a primary litigant.
Despite still having the tumor, Cook was making good medical progress, and so he renewed his effort to get deployed in Afghanistan.
"I wouldn't have even thought about putting in for orders unless I had 'thumbs up,'" he noted.
In May, he got the medical green light, and by early June, was given the order to go to Afghanistan.
"I was doing my pre-combat checks, getting my personal affairs in order, doing my training, preparing myself to go to Afghanistan, and then maybe about two weeks or 10 days out from report date, I started thinking about the whole legality thing and lawfulness of orders. And that is the time when I contacted Orly and said we need to file [in Georgia where I was based] because of this. This was early July."
Cook maintains that even to this day, he's ready and willing to be deployed "in a heartbeat."
"This is what I do. This is what I trained for the past 21 [expletive] years," he emphasized. "If I have the opportunity to deploy tomorrow to Afghanistan, I wouldn't even think twice about it if the guy sitting in the White House issuing orders was certified as legitimate, [issuing] a lawful order. I 'd be on the next C-17 across the pond."
To date, President Obama has refused to release his long-form, hospital-generated birth certificate, which would include details including the name of his birth hospital and attending physician, both of which could be a starting point in determining his eligibility for office.
His press secretary has only mentioned the release "on the Internet" of an image purporting to be a "Certification of Live Birth," a document without such names, and which can be issued to children not even born in Hawaii.
WND has also reported that among the documentation not yet available for Obama includes his kindergarten records, his Punahou school records, his Occidental College records, his Columbia University records, his Columbia thesis, his Harvard Law School records, his Harvard Law Review articles, his scholarly articles from the University of Chicago, his passport, his medical records, his files from his years as an Illinois state senator, his Illinois State Bar Association records, any baptism records, and his adoption records.
Additionally, the president may be using his political action committee funds to stomp out eligibility lawsuits brought by Americans, as he has paid more than $1.35 million to his top lawyer since the election.
