Today on the U.S. Senate floor, Sen. Rand Paul introduced an amendment to the Food and Drug Administration User Fee Reauthorization bill, which would curb the Food and Drug Associations overreach and abuse of power. Sen. Paul’s amendment, No. 2143, would disarm the FDA, put an end to raids on natural food stores and Amish farmers, and stop FDA censorship of truthful claims of dietary supplements.

I could use help in Great Falls with some RP support. We are having the Cascade County Convention on 2 June @ 1200 and I could use some RP people to help me go to Missoula and go with! It is graduation weekend and I know people are going to be busy...but this is important as well.
I am in a position that allows me the ability to make decisions at the COUNTY convention but I just need more RP supports to show up and want to go to Missoula to represent Cascade County as delegates for the State Convention!! If you want to be a delegate you just have to be nominated and then a second vote for you gets you in and you can go to state. Be mindful however, each person that wants to go has to pay $199.00 to be able to vote in Missoula.

The name of the game is taking over the party. The Texas primary is May 29th and we need to elect as many liberty based congressmen, senators, sheriffs, etc. as possible. A lot of you have already done your research and many have probably not. Please share your personal picks for the upcoming primary to make sure all of our liberty candidates are well represented. There are a lot of districts in Texas so please associate your candidates with their appropriate Senate district, Congressional district and precinct. While everyone is entitled to their own vote, we need to be as unified as possible to put us in a power position.
United we stand, devided we fall.

The Massachusetts GOP has indicated that they intend to throw out provisional ballots cast by legally registered Republicans during the April 28th state wide caucus.

The party printed these ballots, gave very precise and lengthy instructions on how they would be handled, and now they are throwing these votes away. Most likely these votes would have a positive effect on the Liberty candidates, so it is in their best interest to throw out these ballots. Some of the voters effected by this spent over 5 hours to cast their votes, only to see them thrown away.

What if Memorial Day reminds us of times when we had more freedom? What if freedom is dying right under our eyes? What if the memory of the past is more fulfilling than the reality of the present?
What if the federal government could write any law, regulate any behavior, and tax any event, no matter what the Constitution authorized? What if the majority in Congress rejects the idea of limited government and views the Constitution as granting it blanket power to do whatever it can get away with? What if the constitutional prohibition on the government’s taking of life, liberty, or property without due process of law is only for show and is not for real?
What if the House of Representatives seriously considered letting the military lock up whatever Americans the president ordered the troops to arrest, without charges filed or lawyers present or a judge presiding? What if the House seriously debated this idea of indefinite military detention of Americans in America and actually voted in favor of it? What if this unconstitutional monstrosity becomes the law and your right to due process depends on whether you remain with the majority, stay silent, or behave properly? What if the Constitution’s guarantees are not guarantees at all but are subject to the whims of whoever is in power?

Ten percent of Americans and growing have realized they get more accurate news about whats happening in the United States from Russia Today broadcast news channel 30.4 MHZ, than they do from US media channels. Mitt Romney and his son Tagg Romney have been implicated in a 8.5 billion dollar ponzi scheme with Wall Street investors Allen Stanford and James M. Davis.
The pair are not cleared including their three partners in a court document verified, ongoing legal proceeding involving selling fraudulent CD’s to potential investors.
The statement of fact, includes SIBL, Stanford International Bank, SGC Stanford Capital Management and the associates R. Allen Stanford, ( Allen Stanford) and James M. Davis stole money from investors through fraud. The group bilked investors by diverting funds to their own lifestyles through bonus money, salaries and compensation packages.
The Stanford Financial Group now in receivership headed by Allen Stanford sold investments described as a “well-diversified portfolio”. Instead Stanford diverted the money to finance his own lavish lifestyle which include: jet planes, yacht, pleasure crafts, luxury cars, homes, travel on a company credit card.
Tagg Romney
Allen Stanford, James M. Davis and Laura Pendergest-Holt through SIBL (the bank) Stanford International Bank) hid the fraud by continuing to buy CD’s (Certificate of Deposit) and fabricated the performance of their investments. (More court documents: HERE) More information on the legal procedures: HERE A court date was set for January 23, 2012 but according to various reports Allen Stanford is incompetent to stand trial.
Mitt Romney and Son Tagg in 2008 invested in Allen Stanford’s ponzi scheme to the tune of 10 million dollars initially in Solamere Capital a seed investment and received 1 million in returns. Tagg Romney joined in to help Solamere Capital located in Charlotte, North Carolina with three other prominent brokers.
Tagg Romney is quoted as saying he was proud of his investment with Solamere now run by former executives of Stanford, ” They’re friends of ours, they used the Solamere name, we own a piece of them”. “We helped them get started”
Despite claims by Tagg and Mitt Romney the investigation is still “ongoing” and the profits from Stanford and Solemere were unreported by Tagg Romney. He also did possess a minority stake in the business with Spencer Zwick and Eric Scheuermann.
Spencer Zwich is Mitt Romney’s Chief Fundraiser. Investors in Stanford have not recovered their money, and the assets are still in receivership and frozen until the case is resolved. A total of 8.5 billion dollars is still unaccounted for and the billion dollar Ponzi scheme lays at Mitt Romney’s feet for his and his son’s investment partners who were all involved.

In a stunning upset for the Obama administration and big-government zealots in general, a federal judge in New York has issued an injunction against the citizen detention portion of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). Bob Unruh at World Net Daily has the story.
"A district-court judge has suspended enforcement of a law that could strip U.S. citizens of their civil rights and allow indefinite detention of individuals President Obama believes to be in support of terror.
"The Obama administration has refused to ensure that the First Amendment rights of authors and writers who express contrary positions or report on terror group activities are protected under his new National Defense Authorization Act.
"Targeted in the stunning ruling from U.S. District Judge Katherine B. Forrest of New York was Paragraph 1021 of the NDAA, which Obama signed into law last Dec. 31. The vague provision appears to allow for the suspension of civil rights for, and indefinite detention of, those individuals targeted by the president as being in support of terror.
"Virginia already has passed a law that states it will not cooperate with such detentions, and several local jurisdictions have done the same. Arizona, Rhode Island, Maryland, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Washington also have reviewed such plans.
"The case was before Forrest on a request for a temporary restraining order. The case was brought on behalf of Christopher Hedges, Daniel Ellsberg, Jennifer Bolen, Noam Chomsky, Alex O'Brien, Kai Warg All, Brigitta Jonsottir and the group U.S. Day of Rage. Many of the plaintiffs are authors or reporters who stated that the threat of indefinite detention by the U.S. military already had altered their activities.
"Constitutional expert Herb Titus filed a friend-of-the-court brief on behalf of the sponsor of the Virginia law, Delegate Bob Marshall, and others.
"Titus, an attorney with William J. Olson, P.C., told WND that the judge's decision to grant a preliminary injunction halting enforcement of paragraph 1021 'affirms the constitutional position taken by Delegate Marshall is correct.'
"The impact is that 'the statute does not have sufficient constitutional guidelines to govern the discretion of the president in making a decision whether to hold someone in indefinite military detention,' Titus said.
"The judge noted that the law doesn't have a requirement that there be any knowledge that an act is prohibited before a detention, he said. The judge also said the law is vague, and she appeared to be disturbed that the administration lawyers refused to answer her questions.
"The opinion underscores 'the arrogance of the current regime, in that they will not answer questions that they ought to answer to a judge because they don't think they have to,' Titus said."
Unruh went on to say, "The brief was on behalf of Marshall and other individuals and organizations including the United States Justice Foundation, Downsize DC Foundation, Institute on the Constitution, Gun Owners of America, Western Center for Journalism, the Tenth Amendment Center and Pastor Chuck Baldwin [yours truly]."
As an aside, was I the only pastor in America to be included as an amici in this brief? Let me challenge readers, the next time you go to church, ask your pastor what he is doing or what he would do to prevent military personnel from taking you off to a military prison without an arrest warrant, without issuing Miranda, without telling you why you are being seized, without allowing you access to an attorney, without recognizing that you have any constitutional rights, without any requirement to release you, or even without any requirement to keep you in the United States of America for a trial or judicial proceeding. I challenge you: ask him! And if his answer is something like, "The Lord will take care of you," or "That could never happen in the United States," what in the name of liberty are you doing attending that church?

Now, I wonder how many of these pseudo-conservative talking heads at FOX News, as well as the myriads of local reporters and journalists throughout the country, will at least be honest enough to admit that there was substantial reason to be concerned about the citizen detention provision of the NDAA? Ever since NDAA was signed into law, these phony guardians of liberty have been pooh-poohing the warnings that many of us columnists and independent journalists have been issuing. Now, a federal judge has also recognized the threat posed to our constitutional liberties by this provision of the NDAA, and has issued an injunction against it.
That's the good news. The bad news is the US House of Representatives defeated an amendment that would have repealed the indefinite detention provision of the NDAA. The Tenth Amendment Center covers the story.
"In a shameful display of disregard for the Constitution and for liberty, on Friday, the House of Representatives voted to perpetuate the president's power to indefinitely detain American citizens.
"By a vote of 238-182, members of Congress rejected the amendment offered by Representatives Adam Smith (D-Washington) and Justin Amash (R-Michigan) that would have repealed the indefinite detention provision passed overwhelmingly last year as part of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) of 2012.
"The Fiscal Year 2013 NDAA retains the indefinite detention provisions, as well as the section permitting prisoners to be transferred from civilian jurisdiction to the custody of the military.
"'The frightening thing here is that the government is claiming the power under the Afghanistan authorization for use of military force as a justification for entering American homes to grab people, indefinitely detain them and not give them a charge or trial,' Representative Amash said during House debate."
The report goes on to say, "Each of these freedom-phobes [the congressmen who voted to keep the indefinite detention provision of the NDAA] invoked the specter of terror (in one way or another: 'terrorist,' 'al-Qaeda,' 'enemies') to justify the abolition of constitutionally guaranteed civil liberties.
"Seemingly, those promoting these provisions would offer Americans as sacrifices on the altar of safety, the fires of which are fed by the kindling of the Constitution."
Hear! Hear!
The report astutely includes this warning from "The Father of The US Constitution," James Madison: "It is a universal truth that the loss of liberty at home is to be charged to the provisions against danger, real or pretended, from abroad."
Oh! Take a guess as to who was the only candidate for President who supported the Smith-Amash amendment to repeal the indefinite detention provision of the NDAA? You got it: Congressman Ron Paul.

This goes to prove that sometimes our enemies are not the courts; sometimes our enemies are the legislatures of this country. This was the case in the aforementioned actions. So, now we have a federal court and the US Congress (allied by the White House) in conflict. It's going to get very interesting!
And speaking of how the legislatures are often the ones inflicting more and more tyranny upon the US citizenry, try this report on for size:
"The federal government is moving quickly to open the skies over America to drones--both for commercial and government purposes--and respected Washington Post and Fox News commentator Charles Krauthammer is forecasting 'rifles aimed at the sky all across America.'
"The comments from Krauthammer, who won the Pulitzer Prize for commentary in 1987 after serving as a speechwriter for Vice President Walter Mondale and then beginning his journalism career at The New Republic, were on 'Special Report' with Bret Baier.
"'I would predict, I am not encouraging, but I predict the first guy who uses a Second Amendment weapon to bring a drone down that's been hovering over his house is going to be a folk hero in this country,' Krauthammer said.
"The conversation arose as the federal government announced it is beginning to allow public safety agencies to fly unmanned aircraft--drones--with fewer and fewer restrictions.
"According to yesterday's report from Bloomberg, police, fire and other government agencies now are being allowed to fly drones weighing as much as 25 pounds without special approvals previously needed.
"The Federal Aviation Administration said on its website that the move was an interim step until the agency finishes rules that will open the door for commercial operation of drones, as well as those uses for government purposes.
"Congress has adopted the position of encouraging more drone flights, with the 'goal of adapting technology used by the military in Iraq and Afghanistan.'"

There you have it, folks. Your federal government--along with numerous local and State police agencies--is preparing to use instruments of war against the citizens of the United States. And numerous local and State police agencies are standing in line to participate. I ask you, do the US Congress, the FAA, and our local and State authorities plan to arm these drones with more than surveillance cameras (as if that's not bad enough)? Should we expect that the drones that will be flying over our neighborhoods would be armed with machine guns and missiles? That's the "technology used by the military in Iraq and Afghanistan," after all.
What is wrong with the American people? What is wrong with our representatives? What is wrong with our State legislators? What is wrong with our local and State police agencies? What is wrong with our pastors and churches? What is wrong with our reporters and journalists? Are they THAT blind? Do they want a paycheck THAT badly? Are they THAT willing to allow this free republic to be thrown into the trash bin of history, only to be replaced with a giant Police State? Are we THAT ignorant of history? Is THAT really where we are?
Ladies and gentlemen, the emerging police state is the foremost issue confronting the people of the United States today! And on this issue, the labels Democrat and Republican mean absolutely nothing! Nothing! If the voters of this country do not awaken quickly to what is going on in front of their very eyes, it won't matter to a tinker's dam which party or which candidate is put into office. If we do not have the right to live in privacy and peace, all of the other rights we talk about mean absolutely nothing!

Our Final Victory is Certain. Part I

From the very outset of this campaign I have seen parallels between the Ron Paul Revolution and certain stories in the Bible. One reason for observing this is that America is the land where the 13 tribes of Israel have been regathered (the 13 original States are a picture of this). Many of the events in the history of America are prophetically linked to the history of ancient Israel. America is also derived from two old Saxon words, 'ric' meaning kingdom and 'amer' meaning heaven. America therefore stands for the Kingdom of Heaven. At the same time it was named for an Italian explorer called Amerigo Vespucci. This is how God conceals what He is doing from the eyes of men. This past week, May 14 - May 17, 2012, has been a testing time, a time of sifting and separation in the ranks of the Revolution. On May 18 we enter a new phase of the campaign.
In spite of our hopes, most of us realised I think that there was never the possibility that the Presidency could be won by the numbers of voters since the majority of the people are fast asleep and the system is rigged against us. The victory must come by the few not the many so that it might be seen that it is the LORD God, the Lord Jesus Christ, the Commander of the Armies of Heaven, the Lord of Hosts, who has given us the victory.
The Biblical story that is being re-enacted at this time is the defeat of the Midianites (strife, contention, warmongering), Amalekites (valley people, covetous and of debased and corrupt morals) and the people of the east (the place of sin and wickedness) by Gideon and the 300 warriors chosen by God. (The number 300 is 3 which stands for Divine Fullness and Perfection multiplied by 100 which stands for God's Election of Grace, Children of Promise.)
The name that was given to Gideon by his father was Jerub-Baal because he pulled down the altar of the false god Baal that his father was worshipping. This name means "let Baal contend" a challenge to the false deity and its worshippers. It is these worshippers that Gideon was called by God to defeat in battle.
It was because the people of Israel (America) had fallen into apostasy and were worshipping Baal and Ashtoreth (Money Power and Sex) the false deities of their enemies that God gave them into the power of these enemies (the owners of the Federal Reserve System) for a time.
The name Gideon itself means "hewer" which means one who hews or fells trees. This can also be understood as one who destroys false idols or false beliefs or those who adhere to such beliefs. As John the Baptist said "Even now the ax is laid at the root of the trees, and every tree that does not produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire.”
The following is both an historical account and a parable or analogy and should be understood as such.
Here is the story as it is told in the book of the Judges:
"Gideon Reduces the Ranks
7:1 Jerub-Baal (that is, Gideon) and his men got up the next morning and camped near the spring of Harod. The Midianites were camped north of them near the hill of Moreh in the valley. 7:2 The Lord said to Gideon, “You have too many men for me to hand Midian over to you. Israel might brag, ‘Our own strength has delivered us.’ 7:3 Now, announce to the men, ‘Whoever is shaking with fear may turn around and leave Mount Gilead.’” Twenty-two thousand men went home; ten thousand remained. 7:4 The Lord spoke to Gideon again, “There are still too many men. Bring them down to the water and I will thin the ranks some more.
When I say, ‘This one should go with you,’ pick him to go; when I say, ‘This one should not go with you,’ do not take him.” 7:5 So he brought the men down to the water. Then the Lord said to Gideon, “Separate those who lap the water as a dog laps from those who kneel to drink.” 7:6 Three hundred men lapped; the rest of the men kneeled to drink water. 7:7 The Lord said to Gideon, “With the three hundred men who lapped I will deliver the whole army and I will hand Midian over to you. The rest of the men should go home.” 7:8 The men who were chosen took supplies and their trumpets. Gideon sent all the men of Israel back to their homes; he kept only three hundred men. Now the Midianites were camped down below in the valley.
Gideon Reassured of Victory
7:9 That night the Lord said to Gideon, “Get up! Attack the camp, for I am handing it over to you. 7:10 But if you are afraid to attack, go down to the camp with Purah your servant 7:11 and listen to what they are saying. Then you will be brave and attack the camp.” So he went down with Purah his servant to where the sentries were guarding the camp. 7:12 Now the Midianites, Amalekites, and the people from the east covered the valley like a swarm of locusts. Their camels could not be counted; they were as innumerable as the sand on the seashore. 7:13 When Gideon arrived, he heard a man telling another man about a dream he had. The man said, “Look! I had a dream. I saw a stale cake of barley bread rolling into the Midianite camp. It hit a tent so hard it knocked it over and turned it upside down. The tent just collapsed.” 7:14 The other man said, “Without a doubt this symbolizes the sword of Gideon son of Joash, the Israelite. God is handing Midian and all the army over to him.”
Gideon Routs the Enemy
7:15 When Gideon heard the report of the dream and its interpretation, he praised God. Then he went back to the Israelite camp and said, “Get up, for the Lord is handing the Midianite army over to you!” 7:16 He divided the three hundred men into three units. He gave them all trumpets and empty jars with torches inside them. 7:17 He said to them, “Watch me and do as I do. Watch closely! I am going to the edge of the camp. Do as I do! 7:18 When I and all who are with me blow our trumpets, you also blow your trumpets all around the camp. Then say, ‘For the Lord and for Gideon!’”
7:19 Gideon took a hundred men to the edge of the camp at the beginning of the middle watch, just after they had changed the guards. They blew their trumpets and broke the jars they were carrying. 7:20 All three units blew their trumpets and broke their jars. They held the torches in their left hand and the trumpets in their right. Then they yelled, “A sword for the Lord and for Gideon!” 7:21 They stood in order all around the camp. The whole army ran away; they shouted as they scrambled away. 7:22 When the three hundred men blew their trumpets, the Lord caused the Midianites to attack one another with their swords throughout the camp."
Gideon Rejects a Crown
8:22 The men of Israel said to Gideon, “Rule over us – you, your son, and your grandson. For you have delivered us from Midian’s power.” 8:23 Gideon said to them, “I will not rule over you, nor will my son rule over you. The Lord will rule over you.”
This last statement is the condition of true Liberty. When men reject God, the Lord Jesus Christ, they unwittingly reject Liberty. God then gives them men to rule them who reflect the lawless condition of their own hearts and who oppress them.
In verse 7.1 above the enemies of Israel/America are encamped in the valley near to the hill of Moreh. This indicates that the oppressors of Israel/America are themselves debased and corrupt but above them is Moreh (the Teacher). In other words they have been sent by God to teach Israel/America a lesson and to bring them to repentance, a change of mind and world view. Everything that happens in our lives has this purpose: to teach us the Way of God whether as individuals or as a people.
America has been in captivity to the owners of the Federal Reserve System for almost one hundred years but the day of deliverance is at hand. Even the powers of this world must bow to the sovereignty of the Lord Jesus Christ. They have been weighed in the balance and found wanting just as was Belshazzar, the last king of Babylon in 537 B.C..
In allegory, Gideon and his 300 warriors represent Ron Paul and his National delegates who further represent the Lord Jesus Christ and His brethren, the sons of God, who will soon be revealed in the overwhelming power and majesty of the Kingdom of God that is shortly to be manifest in the Earth. This is the meaning of the breaking of the clay jars to reveal the light in 7.20 above. In 7.22 the trumpets are symbolic of an announcement. In allegory again, I have always seen this event happening at the Convention in Tampa when the delegates of Ron Paul reveal their true identity. At the same time there will also be announcements that will cause terror among the enemies of Israel/America and cause them to turn on one another.
[The Ron Paul National delegates are not these sons of God but a living historic analogy of them just like the 300 warriors of Gideon and all the related stories in the Bible. There may well be among them those who are indeed sons of God who will partake of the first resurrection but not all are these chosen few. When I say "analogy" I do not mean that they are not part of God's plans, they are, as are we all. However they are manifesting in the Earth that which has already been determined in Heaven and at the same time prophetically representing further events yet to take place just as did the events and teachings recorded in the Bible.]

“Crashing” the Party?
Today, the New York Times has a story about Ron Paul, his movement and the progress Paul supporters have made in reshaping the Republican Party. Typical of what you might expect from the NYT, it says Paul supporters are “crashing” the party. Reason’s Brian Doherty sets them straight:Reason/Doherty:

In Minnesota, Paulites stormed the Republican gathering in St. Cloud last weekend, bumping aside two conventional Republican candidates to choose one of their own, Kurt P. Bills, a high school economics teacher, to challenge Senator Amy Klobuchar, a Democrat, this fall.
Backers of Mr. Paul, a Republican congressman from Texas, crashed Republican conventions in Iowa, Maine, Minnesota and Nevada in recent weeks, snatching up the lion’s share of delegate slots for the Republican National Convention in Tampa this August, a potential headache for the national party and its presumptive nominee, Mitt Romney.
It’s not “crashing,” New York Times. These conventions are open to Republicans of all sorts to follow the rules and vote as they wish. Winning elections on any level is not “crashing.” It’s succeeding at politics, which the Ron Paul people are proving unexpectedly good at.

If Romney wins overwhelmingly, the message would be that state Republicans are satisfied with their party’s presumptive nominee. But if Paul wins a large percentage of the vote plus delegates, the message would be that Republicans are not satisfied with Romney and/or that the cause of freedom and liberty still resonates in the hearts of South Dakotans.

Thank you Mr. Speaker. The last nail is being driven into the coffin of the American Republic yet congress remains in total denial as our liberties are rapidly fading before our eyes.
The process is propelled by unwarranted fear and ignorance as to the true meaning of liberty. It is driven by economic myths, fallacies and irrational good intentions. The rule of law is constantly rejected and authoritarian answers are offered as panaceas for all our problems.
Runaway welfarism is used to benefit the rich at the expense of the middle class. Who would have ever thought that the current generation and congress would stand idly by and watch such a rapid disintegration of the American Republic.
Our Presidents can now, on their own, order assignations including American citizens; operate secret military tribunals; engage in torture; enforce indefinite imprisonments without due process; order searches and seizures without proper warrants, gutting the 4th Amendment; ignore the 60 day rule for reporting to the congress the nature of any military operation as required by the War Powers Resolution; continue the Patriot Act abuses without oversight; wage war at will; treat all Americans as suspected terrorists at airports with TSA groping and nude x-raying.
And the Federal Reserve accommodates by counterfeiting the funds needed and not paid for by taxation and borrowing permitting runaway spending, endless debt and special interest bailouts.
And all this is not enough. The abuses and usurpations of the War Power are soon to be codified in the National Defense Authorization Act now rapidly moving its way through congress.
Instead of repealing the 2001 authorization for the use of military force, as we should, now that Bin Laden is dead and gone, congress is planning to massively increase the War Power of the President.
Though an opportunity presents itself to end the wars in Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan, congress, with bipartisan support, obsesses on how to expand the unconstitutional War Power of the President he already holds.
The current proposal would allow a President to pursue war anytime, anyplace, for any reason, without congressional approval. Many believe that this would even permit military activity against American suspects here at home.
The purposed authority does not reference the 9/11 attacks. It would be expanded to include the Taliban and “associated forces,” a dangerously vague and expansive definition of our potential enemies.
There is no denial that the changes in Section 1034 totally eliminates the hard fought for restraint on Presidential authority to go to war without congressional approval achieved at the Constitutional Convention.
Congress’ war authority has been severely undermined since World War II beginning with the advent of the Korean war, which was fought solely under a U.N. resolution.
Even today we’re waging war in Libya without even consulting with the congress, similar to how we went to war in Bosnia in the 1990s under President Clinton.
The three major reasons for our Constitutional Conventions were: to guarantee free trade and travel among the States; make gold and silver legal tender and abolish paper money; and strictly limit the Executive Branch’s authority to pursue war without congressional approval.
But today: Federal Reserve notes are legal tender, gold and silver are illegal; the Interstate Commerce Clause is used to regulate all commerce at the expense of the free trade among States; and now the final nail is placed in the coffin of congressional responsibility for the War Power, delivering this power completely to the President…a sharp and huge blow to the concept of our republic.
In my view, it appears that the fate of the American Republic is now sealed, unless these recent trends are quickly reversed.
The saddest part of this tragedy is that all these horrible changes are being done in the name of patriotism and protecting freedom. They are justified by good intentions while believing the sacrifice of liberty is required for our safety. Nothing could be further from the truth.
More sadly is the conviction that our enemies are driven to attack us for our freedoms and prosperity, and not because of our deeply flawed Foreign Policy that has generated justifiable grievances and has inspired the radical violence against us. Without this understanding, our endless, unnamed, and undeclared wars will continue and our wonderful experiment with Liberty will end. And I yield back the balance of my time.
How did the American political discourse become so perverted that candidates like Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich can say with a straight face that Ron Paul’s foreign policy is dangerous? How did we get to the point where these men are even taken seriously? These men who never once put on a uniform…running against the Veteran that they are opposing? How is this possible? I served as a Sergeant on a Marine Corps civil affair’s team in the Fallujah area in 2004 and found out the hard way that the greatest enemies of the Constitution to which I swore an oath, to which Ron Paul swore an oath, to which every military service member swears an oath are not to be found in the sands of some far off land but rather right here at home.

I'll repeat that again, the establishment in the republican party is insanely scared. They are losing control!! As evidenced by these rancorous state caucuses. The RNC big wigs have to back Romney just to keep their jobs. Look at all the state chairmen that have either resigned or been voted out of their position. The RNC seeing this believes it a threat to their cushy jobs and personal power. Stuff like this can mess with some really high up people senators namely.
We have made inroads in so many states and our movement only grows because enlightened beings can never be fooled again. So worry not that the media is ignoring us. We will topple this corrupt system from the bottom up... as we take over more states and counties. Or the faster way we will topple it is from the top down, with our President Paul. I still believe Ron has a good chance to win because they would not try so hard to block him and his message if he couldn't.

One of Rep. Ron Paul's (R-Texas) pet issues will hit the spotlight this July, as House Republican leaders plan to hold a vote on authorizing a top-to-bottom audit of the Federal Reserve.
In a memo to Republican members sent Friday, House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.) unveiled the GOP majority's plan for the months leading up to the fall elections. Among a "busy legislative agenda," including bills tackling healthcare, domestic energy production and taxes, Paul's 300-word measure has carved out a spot on the docket.
The bill is currently pending before a House Oversight subcommittee, but has garnered a substantial number of sponsors — 227 in all, including several committee chairmen. And while Fed-bashing became a popular activity on the GOP primary campaign trail, not all the bill's backers are Republicans. Several Democrats, such as Reps. Peter DeFazio (Ore.) and Dennis Kucinich (Ohio), are among those pushing for a Fed audit.

He hasn't won a single state primary or caucus, yet Ron Paul soldiers on in the 2012 GOP presidential race. The most recent results from our Political.com poll indicate that an overwhelming 93% of respondents have a favorable opinion of Ron Paul, which transcends party affiliation. Paul has been the U.S. Representative for Texas's 14th congressional district, which includes Galveston, since 1997, and a three-time candidate for President of the United States: as a Libertarian in 2008 and as a Republican in 2008 and currently in 2012.
He is an outspoken critic of American foreign and monetary policies, including the military–industrial complex and the Federal Reserve, and is known for his libertarian-leaning views, often differing from his own party on certain issues. 82% of voters say they are very familiar with Paul’s position on key issues, while 17% said they were somewhat familiar with them.
The mainstream media continue to discount Ron Paul as a factor in the race for the 2012 Republican nomination, even though he and his supporters could become contenders when the convention meets in August. Based on our poll results, 93% of voters (comprised of high percentages of Democrats, Republicans and Independents) believe he is qualified to serve as the next president. Additionally, 79% think he made the right decision to join the race for the Republican nomination.
