When The People take the battlefield in the Infowar, they begin to have victories. Here's just a few examples of recent victories-- both partial and whole-- from the campaign to Stop SOPA, to Ron Paul's 2012 campaign, the movement to remove dangerous chemicals from our food, water and vaccines, to the battle to stop the police state-- with many more victories to come in 2012. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton herself admitted that the big brother state was losing the Infowar. Ideas are bulletproof. Remember what Victor Hugo said: 'No army can stop an idea whose time has come.'

In other news, Alex profiles Central Falls, Rhode Island, the tiny town that found its democracy had disappeared after it entered into receivership in 2010, following economic difficulties. "They're being governed without elected representation," state Sen. Elizabeth Crowley said of Central Falls' 19,000 residents.
• Meanwhile the Tulsa Grassroots Ron Paul Campaign Headquarters wrote an article today strategizing how to win the election for Ron Paul. In short, the effort focuses on entering pro-Liberty delegates, such as Infowars readers, at the local level to ensure Ron Paul has the delegates to actually vote for him at conventions, both state wide and at the national level.
• Political operatives trying to damage the Ron Paul campaign were caught in posted messages planning to dress up as members of the KKK in South Carolina while carrying Paul signs, calling for media attention to diminishes his chances in the primary vote.
• A closer look at Mitt Romney side-by-side with Barack Obama's record shows many striking similarities. Not only did both craft health care legislation, but both have campaigns funded-by and driven for the same Big Bank Wall Street interests that the nation has long been protesting. Further, Romney has revealed that he, too, would have signed the NDAA legislation that, among other outrages, attempts to "legalize" the indefinite detention of American citizens without trial.
• A Veteran's Today article takes a controversial look at the Osama bin Laden we thought we knew? Was he really one of America's greatest enemies and a provocateur of terrorism, or was he worthy of the highest honors under military rank-- as a lifelong ally in U.S. foreign policy. Should CIA asset Tim Osman (OBL's alter ego and codename, according to declassified documents) really be buried at Arlington instead of at sea, as the Obama Administration has asserted, though without providing any evidence.

South Carolina Senators are Willingly coming out to show their support for Ron Paul. This Momentum Is Unstoppable. Ron Paul is likely to cause an upset in South Carolina and yet the Media is still trying to ignore this trend. Vote Ron Paul to Restore America !!!
America's Last Chance
By Paul Craig Roberts
1-20-12
America has one last chance, and it is a very slim one. Americans can elect Ron Paul President, or they can descend into tyranny.
Why is Ron Paul America’s last chance?
Because he is the only candidate who is not owned lock, stock, and barrel by the military-security complex, Wall Street, and the Israel Lobby.
All of the others, including President Obama, are owned by exactly the same interest groups. There are no differences between them. Every candidate except Ron Paul stands for war and a police state, and all have demonstrated their complete and total subservience to Israel. The fact that there is no difference between them is made perfectly clear by the absence of substantive issues in the campaigns of the Republican candidates.
Only Ron Paul deals with real issues, so he is excluded from “debates” in which the other Republican candidates throw mud at one another: “Gingrich voted $60 million to a UN program supporting abortion in China.” “Romney loves to fire people.”
The mindlessness repels.
More importantly, only Ron Paul respects the US Constitution and its protection of civil liberty. Only Ron Paul understands that if the Constitution cannot be resurrected from its public murder by Congress and the executive branch, then Americans are lost to tyranny.
There isn’t much time in which to revive the Constitution. One more presidential term with no habeas corpus and no due process for US citizens and with torture and assassination of US citizens by their own government, and it will be too late. Tyranny will have been firmly institutionalized, and too many Americans from the lowly to the high and mighty will have been implicated in the crimes of the state. Extensive guilt and complicity will make it impossible to restore the accountability of government to law.
If Ron Paul is not elected president in this year’s election, by 2016 American liberty will be in a forgotten grave in a forgotten grave yard.
Having said this, there is no way Ron Paul can be elected, for these reasons:
Not enough Americans understand that the “war on terror” has been used to create a police state. The brainwashed citizenry believe that the police state is making them safe from terrorists.
Liberals, progressives, and the left-wing oppose Ron Paul, claiming that “he would abolish the social safety net, privatize Social Security and Medicare, throw the widows and orphans into the street, abolish the Federal Reserve,” etc.
Apparently, liberals, progressives, and the left-wing do not understand that privatizing Social Security and Medicare and destroying the social safety net are policies that many conservative Republicans favor and are policies that Wall Street is forcing on both political parties. In contrast, a President Ron Paul would be isolated in the White House and would never be able to muster the support of Congress and the powerful interest groups to achieve such radical changes. Moreover, Ron Paul has made it clear that a welfare-free state cannot be achieved by decree but only by creating an economy in which opportunity exists for people to stand on their own feet. Ron Paul has said that he does not support ending welfare before an economy is created that makes a welfare state unnecessary.
Candidate Paul cannot take any steps to reassure Americans that he would not throw them to the mercy of the free market, because his libertarian base would turn on him as another unprincipled politician willing to sacrifice his principles for political expediency. If libertarians were not inflexible, candidate Paul could endorse Ron Unz’s proposal to solve the illegal immigration problem by raising the minimum wage to $12 an hour, so that Americans could afford to work the jobs that are taken by illegals.
Economist James K. Galbraith is probably correct that Unz’s proposal would boost the economy by injecting purchasing power and that the unemployment would be largely confined to illegals who would return to their home country. However, if Ron Paul were to treat Unz’s proposal as one worthy of study and consideration, libertarian ideologues would write him off. Whatever liberal/progressive support he gained would be offset by the loss of his libertarian base.
Why can’t libertarians be as intelligent as Ron Unz and see that if the Constitution is lost all that remains is tyranny?
In short, Americans cannot see beyond their ideologies to the real issue, which is the choice between the Constitution and tyranny.
So we hear absurd accusations that Ron Paul, a libertarian “is a racist.” “Ron Paul is an anti-semite.” “Ron Paul would favor the rich and hurt the poor.”
We don’t hear “Ron Paul would restore and protect the US Constitution.”
What do Americans think life will be like in the absence of the Constitution? I will tell you what it will be like, but first let’s consider the obstacles Ron Paul would face if he were to win the Republican nomination and if he were to be elected president.
In my opinion, if Ron Paul were to win the Republican nomination, the Republican Party would conspire to refuse it to him. The party would simply nominate a different candidate.
If despite everything, Ron Paul were to end up in the White House, he would not be able to form a government that would support his policies. Appointments to cabinet secretaries and assistant secretaries that would support his policies could not be confirmed by the US Senate. President Paul would have to appoint whomever the Senate would confirm in order to form a government. The Senate’s appointees would undermine his policies.
What a President Ron Paul could do, assuming Congress, controlled by powerful private interest groups, did not impeach him on trumped up charges, would be to use whatever forums that might be permitted him to explain to the public, judges, and law schools that the danger from terrorists is miniscule compared to the danger from a government unaccountable to law and the Constitution.
The reason we should vote for Ron Paul is to signal to the powers that be that we understand what they are doing to us. If Paul were to receive a large vote, it could have two good effects. One could be to introduce some caution into the establishment that would slow the march into more war and tyranny. The other is it would signal to Washington’s European and Japanese puppets that not all Americans are stupid sheep. Such an indication could make Washington’s puppet states more cautious and less cooperative with Washington’s drive for world hegemony.
What America Without the Constitution Will Be Like
In the January 4 Huff Post, attorney and author John Whitehead reported on the militarization of local police. Some police forces are now equipped with spy drones. Whitehead reports that a drone manufacturer, AeroVironment Inc., plans to sell 18,000 drones to police departments throughout the country. The company is also advertising a small drone, the “Switchblade,” which can track a person, land on the person and explode.
How long before Americans will be spied upon or murdered as extremists at the discretion of local police?
Recognizing the privacy danger, if not the murder danger, the American Civil Liberties Union has issued a report, “Protecting Privacy From Aerial Surveillance.” https://www.aclu.org/files/assets/pr...rveillance.pdf
The ACLU believes, correctly, that liberty is threatened by “a surveillance society in which our every move is monitored, tracked, recorded, and scrutinized by authorities.”
The ACLU calls on Congress to legislate privacy protections against the police use of drones. I support the ACLU because it is the most important defender of civil liberty despite other misguided activities, but I wonder what the ACLU is thinking. Congress and the federal courts have already acquiesced in the federal government’s warrantless spying on Americans by the National Security Agency. The Bush regime violated the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act many times, and all involved, including President Bush, should have been sent to prison for many lifetimes, as each violation carries a 5-year prison term. But the executive branch emerged scot free. No one was held accountable for clear violations of US statutory law.
The ACLU might think that although the federal executive branch has successfully elevated itself above the law, state and local police forces are still accountable. We must hope that they are, but I doubt it.
The militarization of local police has received some attention. What has not received attention is that state and local police are also being federalized. It is not only military armaments and spy technology that local police are receiving from Washington, but also an attitude toward the public along with federal oversight and the collaboration that goes with it. When Homeland Security, a federal police force, comes into states, as I know has occurred in Georgia and Tennessee, and doubtless other states, and together with the state police stop cars and trucks on Interstate highways and subject them to warrantless searches, what is happening is the de facto deputizing of the state police by Homeland Security. This is the way that Goering and Himmler federalized into the Gestapo the independent police forces of German provinces such as Prussia and Bavaria.
Homeland Security has expanded its warrantless searches far beyond “airline security.” The budding gestapo agency now conducts warrantless searches on the nation’s highways, on bus and train passengers, and at Social Security offices. On Tuesday January 3, 2012, the Social Security office in Leesburg, Florida, apparently a terrorist hotspot, became a Homeland Security checkpoint. The DHS Gestapo armed with automatic weapons and sniffer dogs demanded IDs from local residents visiting their local Social Security office. Daily Commercial - <p>Training excercise startles locals</p>
Thomas Milligan, district manager for the Social Security Administration office, said staff were not informed their offices were about to be stormed by armed federal police officers. DHS officials refused to answer questions asked by local media and left with no explanation at noon, reports infowars.com.
The DHS gestapo justified its takeover of a Leesburg Florida Social Security office as being an integral part of “Operational Shield,” conducted by the Federal Protective Service to detect “the presence of unauthorized persons and potentially disruptive or dangerous activities.”
One wonders if even brainwashed flag-waving “superpatriots” can miss the message. The Social Security office of Leesburg, Florida, population 19,086 in central Florida is not a place where terrorists devoid of proper ID might be visiting. To protect America from the scant possibility that terrorists might be congregating at the Leesburg Social Security office, the tyrants in Washington sent the Federal Protective Service at who knows what cost to demand ID from locals visiting their Social Security office.
What is this all about except to establish the precedent that federal police, a new entity in American life, the Federal Protective Service, has authority over state and local police offices and can appear out of the blue to interrogate local citizens.
Why the ACLU thinks it is going to get any action out of a Congress that has accommodated the executive branch’s destruction of habeas corpus, due process, and the constitutional and legal prohibitions against torture is beyond me. But at least the issue is raised. But don’t expect to hear about it from the “mainstream media.”
Americans in 2012, although only a few are aware, live in a concentration camp that is far better controlled than the one portrayed by George Orwell in 1984. Orwell, writing in the late 1940s could not imagine the technology that makes control of populations so thorough as it is today. Orwell’s protagonist could at least have hope. In 2012 with the erasure of privacy by the US government, protagonists can be eliminated by hummingbird-sized drones before they can initiate a protest, much less a rebellion.
Never in human history has a people been so easily and willingly controlled by a hostile government as Americans, who are the least free people on earth. And a large percentage of Americans still wave the flag and chant USA! USA! USA!
The Bush regime operated as if the Constitution did not exist. Any semblance of constitutional government that remained after the Bush years was terminated when Congress passed and President Obama signed the National Defense Authorization Act. One wonders how the National Rifle Association, the defender of the Second Amendment, will now fare. If there is no Constitution, how can there be a Second Amendment? If the President, at his discretion, can set aside habeas corpus and due process and murder citizens based on unproven suspicions, why can’t he set aside the Second Amendment?
Indeed, it is folly to expect a police state to tolerate an armed population.
The NRA is very supportive of the police and military. Now that these armed organizations are being turned against the public, how will the NRA adjust its posture?
Many NRA members, pointing to the “Oath Keepers,” former members of the military who pledge to defend the Constitution, and to police chiefs who support the Second Amendment, believe that the police and military will disobey orders to attack citizens. But we already witness constantly the gratuitous brutality of “our” police against peaceful protesters. We witness military troops all over the world murder citizens who protest government abuses. Why can’t it happen here?
If you don’t want it to happen here, you had better figure out some way to get Ron Paul into the Presidency and to get him a cabinet and subcabinet that will support him.
Meanwhile, the police state grows. On January 4, 2012, the Obama regime announced by decree, not by legislation, the creation of the Bureau of Counterterrorism which will among other tasks “seek to strengthen homeland security, countering violent extremism.” Obama launches Bureau of Counterterrorism | NewsOK.com
Take a moment to think. Do you know of any “violent extremism” happening in the US? The regime is telling you that it needs a new police bureau with unaccountable powers to “strengthen homeland security” against a nonexistent bogyman.
So who will be the violent extremists who require countering by the Bureau of Counterterrorism? It will be peace activists, the Occupy Wall Street protesters, the unemployed and foreclosed homeless. It will be whoever the police state says. And there is no due process or recourse to law.
Given the facts before you, you are out of your mind if you think Ron Paul’s rhetoric against the welfare state is more important than his defense of liberty.

• Guest Mike Adams of NaturalNews.com will discuss breakthrough research that suggests chemotherapy can be more dangerous than helpful, as findings show it can multiply the chances of tumors and the presence of cancer in patients.
• Asia Times reporter and geopolitical expert Pepe Escobar also joins the program to discuss the latest on the brewing war against Iran, and other tension in the Mid East region.
• Marjorie Farabee also appears on the program to discuss her Wild Burro Protection League and its efforts to stop the wanton killing of donkeys being killed at Big Bend Ranch National Park under environmental pretenses. She delivered more than 100,000 signatures to the Texas Capitol in a petition aimed at defending the animals.
• In the news segment, guest host Rob Dew covers the coming age of cyborgs, as living brains have now been implanted with electronic chips to replace ‘faulty’– i.e. mortal– parts. Scientists hope it will signal the cures for degenerative diseases like Parkinson’s, but is it the beginning of the end for humanity as we know it? Other efforts have long ago been launched to push chipping humans with RFID chips for the purpose of tracking and tracing the population under a high-tech control grid.
• Even as proponents of a free Internet have made efforts this week to block draconian legislation to control the web under the guise of protecting copyright, the Supreme Court has ruled that many works already in the public domain can again be put under copyright. This is a threat to the public’s free speech rights and the ability to share alike in the creative works of artists who are in many cases already deceased.
• Tragically, a French research team has discovered that leukemia rates among children double for those living in close proximity to nuclear power plants. Their finding have been published in the International Journal of Cancer, and draw attention to the future of nuclear, even as the global fallout over the Fukushima meltdown continues to threaten lives, particularly among vulnerable newborns.
• Ahead of the South Carolina primary taking place tomorrow (Saturday), four conservative State Senators in South Carolina have come forward to endorse Ron Paul in what continues to be a movement back towards liberty– much more than just a campaign for elected office. Initial results in a Newsday poll show that Ron Paul overwhelmingly won the South Carolina debate hosted by CNN, even as the media focused in on Newt’s reaction to scandals in his personal life.
Is Gingrich’s support base really out there, or just a figment of the corporate media’s imagination? Newt Gingrich still leads in many polls for the South Carolina primary, but how? Yet another Gingrich campaign event was canceled due to poor attendance. The AP reported that the candidate stepped down from a speaking engagement with the Southern Republican Leadership.

Israeli Lobby launch new Super PAC effort to bring down Ron Paul

January 20, 2012
For decades, lobbies and special interests have ruled Capitol Hill, with PACs effectively steering the outcome of every major political campaign by injecting money and buying influence. Now we find out that Texas Congressman and GOP candidate Ron Paul has been targeted by a new breed of PAC, this time with foreign backing.
In recent years, activists and advocates have won back some ground in terms of placing limits and disclosure on campaign donations from individuals, businesses and have attempted to rein in some of the financial influence of political action committees (PACs). Just when one dragon was slayed, another, more menacing one was born. Enter the world of the Super PAC.
As 501c organizations, these new Super PACs take advantage of recent election funding rulings which allow corporations, unions and wealthy individuals to operate totally independently – and spend as much as they wish on election campaign media packages. Super PACs can also hold fundraisers to solicit money from donors – with no limits. The rise of the Super PAC has meant a complete runaround of any campaign ethics, or campaign finance regulation.
Where the game was often played according to how much special interests could buy a candidate, the game has now shifted into darker areas, namely, how special interests can take down, and eliminate a candidate during the early part of an election cycle. South Carolina residents are currently being slammed with a record number of Super PAC-funded TV adverts, some of which are negative in nature. More shocking is the fact that all these Super PAC ads are being paid for by just a handful of wealthy donors and establishment syndicates.
According to a recent article in the Washington Post this week, David Donnelly, National Campaigns Director for the Public Campaign Action Fund revealed, “There are probably fewer than 100 people who are fueling 90 percent of this outside money right now.” The report also adds:In total, these new and unrestrained political action committees spent more than $15 million supporting GOP candidates in Iowa and New Hampshire and are now outspending the official campaigns in South Carolina by 2 to 1, according to advertising and expenditure data.Out of this small handful of mega-rich donors, the Israeli lobby is represented heavily. The Washington Post adds here:And casino magnate Sheldon Adelson recently dashed off a $5 million check to a group backing former House speaker Newt Gingrich (Ga.), marking what may be the largest single political contribution in U.S. history. Adelson is well known for supporting hard-line policies favoring Israel while also advocating measures that would benefit the gambling industry. This level of allowable interference in US campaigns has seen Super PACs propping up certain alternate horses in the political race, in order to take votes away from the any serious rival to Establishment’s front-runner of choice. Based on election results and major polling, Mitt Romney’s only serious rival coming out of New Hampshire would be Ron Paul, yet, large sums of money are still flowing elsewhere in the field. Why?
In terms of the remaining GOP field, one could not find a more unappealing and unpopular candidate to commit millions in PAC funds for the duration of the primaries than Rick Santorum. Similarly, a complete non-runner and failure in all polling, John Huntsman, managed to bag a cool $2.5 million late in the game from the Super PAC, ‘Our Destiny’, which floated his campaign through Iowa and New Hampshire. Both men have secured some heavy backing, but skeptics should really be asking after these primaries have concluded, how a candidate with no real national support base could continue through the primaries – at such a great expense.
Likewise, the career of Newt Gingrich has long since peaked, with many mainstream political pundits even categorizing him as ‘unelectable’, but his recent record-breaking PAC donation from the Israeli lobby establishment figure Sheldon Adelson now begins to make sense. Note that Adelson is also an active financial supporter and media arm for Benjamin Netanyahu’s political career in Israel.
Ron Paul is the only GOP candidate who is not overtly ‘pro-Israel’ in the popular neoconservative sense. On January 13, in the run-up to the pivotal South Carolina GOP primary, the Emergency Committee for Israel, run by neoconservative thinker William Kristol, released an ad in which its Director Gary Bauer makes a plea to voters – not endorsing any candidate, rather, telling conservatives that they must reject Congressman Ron Paul as their GOP candidate, deriding his foreign policy views with respect to America’s ‘special relationship’ with Israel, and fighting the War on Terror – concluding that, “We can do better than Ron Paul”. See their advert here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=8MX7gFB4KR0
With such an over-arching umbrella of influence determining its outcome, one can only conclude that the American democratic system of elections has been manipulated and twisted to such a degree by powerful special interests, that major elections in the US cannot be classed as either free or fair. Rather they have warped into cynical, stage-managed events, engineered by the few in order to achieve a particular outcome.
What does this say about the state of America in 2012? To this point, Donnelly sums it up: “When you think about the amazing impact that this small number of people have on deciding the election, on the information that people will have on who to vote for, it’s mind-boggling.”
Surely, the American people cannot be a winner in this current climate of campaign high finance and open corruption. Much worse however, in this current set-up the true winner of a genuine democratic race – can never be known.
Many will be understandably outraged to know how this game is being played behind the scenes. If there was ever a time for election reform, it is 2012.

Crowd boos and jeers, demands Paul be allowed to answer

A remarkable scene unfolded during last night’s CNN hosted South Carolina debate when not once but twice, the audience had to intervene to ensure that Ron Paul be included in questions, as host John King attempted to skip over the Congressman following answers from the other three candidates.
Even more remarkable was the fact that both times the questions were related to medical issues and Ron Paul is the only qualified doctor among all the candidates.
Between the sideshow of Newt Gingrich’s infidelity and yet more mudslinging and circus like back and forths between Romney, Gingrich and Santorum, Ron Paul did his best to speak on real issues such as cutting foreign military spending, protecting the borders and the need to reform the government-run health care system.
However, when it came to two key questions it was left to the audience to remind the CNN anchors that Ron Paul was up on the stage and that voters wanted to hear him speak.
The first instance occurred when King somewhat reluctantly threw Ron Paul the question “would you repeal Obamacare?” following answers from the rest of the field.
To wild ironic cheering and whooping from the audience acknowledging that Ron Paul had finally been included in the question, the Congressman exclaimed “PHEW, I thought maybe you were prejudiced against doctors and the doctor that practiced medicine in the military or something!”
Watch the footage:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=JBYtIHXXEDw
The second instance of CNN completely ignoring Paul occurred when King attempted to switch subjects from the issue of abortion without asking for Ron Paul’s thoughts.
“All right, let’s take another question,” King said after hearing from the other three candidates only. “Let’s take a question now from social media…”
Only when the audience began to boo and jeer, asking for Ron Paul to be afforded the opportunity to answer, did King allow the Congressman to speak.
“…before we move on, you want in on this issue?” King said to Paul, “They want you in on this issue…” King added, addressing the audience.
“John, once again, it’s a medical subject. I’m a doctor,” Paul protested, drawing cheers from the crowd before giving his thoughts.
Watch the footage:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5tMYnU4gUeo&feature=player_embedded
The blatant attempt by King and CNN to bypass Ron Paul, represents yet another example of the mainstream media downplaying and sidelining the only real anti-establishment candidate.
With Rick Perry having dropped out earlier in the day, there were just four candidates left on stage, yet Ron Paul was STILL afforded significantly less speaking time than his GOP rivals.
However, Paul still gave a strong performance, topping all the post debate analysis polling.
Following the debate, Congressman Paul sent an email to his supporters regarding his debate showing.
“My debate performance tonight is already turning heads.” Paul wrote. “What the crowd saw tonight was my opponents savaging each other over and over in a desperate attempt to defend their Big Government records. Me? I wasn’t touched once. Because quite frankly, I can’t be. I’ve spent 30 years fighting against establishment politicians – like my opponents – to finally put an END to politics as usual.”

Ron Paul Campaign Announces Substantial TV Ad Buy in Nevada and MinnesotaEnergetic ‘Big Dog’ ad featuring ‘Plan to Restore America’ provisions to air in key early voting states
LAKE JACKSON, Texas – The Ron Paul 2012 Presidential campaign will begin running its celebrated television ad ‘Big Dog’ in the key early voting states of Nevada and Minnesota.
The ad buy is substantial in size, and it is part of the campaign’s delegate strategy to secure the Republican nomination for the presidency. The campaign will air the ads on broadcast and cable television in both states.
This is the fourth time the campaign has purchased ads in Nevada, and the first time it has done so in Minnesota. With respect to Nevada, the campaign announced ad buys for ‘Secure,’ ‘Life,’ and the combined ‘Plan’ and ‘Consistent’ buy on October 7th, 14th, and 20th, respectively.
The 30-second spot ‘Big Dog’ contrasts establishment Republican candidates unwilling to make difficult choices on spending cuts and debt reduction with the sole candidate whose bite on such matters equals his bark: Ron Paul. The ad informs viewers about major provisions of Ron Paul’s “Plan to Restore America” including his proposals to cut $1 trillion from the federal budget in year one, balance the federal budget in year three, and eliminate the Departments of Commerce, Education, Energy, Housing and Urban Development, and Interior.
“Running ads in the key early voting states of Nevada and Minnesota is part of our delegate strategy to secure the Republican nomination. Both states present opportunities for a strong top-three showing in their upcoming caucuses,” said Ron Paul 2012 National Campaign Chairman Jesse Benton, referring to the February 4th nominating contest in Nevada and the February 7th one in Minnesota.
“Ours is the only campaign with the resources, organization, and stamina to defeat establishment candidate Mitt Romney in a 50-state race,” said Mr. Benton.

Ron Paul Endorsed by Louisiana State Rep. Joel Robideaux and Fmr. LAGOP Deputy Chair Charlie DavisRep. Robideaux and Davis to serve as state co-chairs of the Ron Paul 2012 campaign in Louisiana
BATON ROUGE, Louisiana – 2012 Republican Presidential candidate Ron Paul was endorsed today by Louisiana State Representative Joel Robideaux (R-Lafayette) and former Deputy Chairman of the Louisiana State GOP Charlie Davis.Rep. Robideaux and Mr. Davis will serve as Louisiana co-chairs for the Ron Paul 2012 Presidential campaign. In making his endorsement and assuming campaign co-chair responsibility for Louisiana, Rep. Robideaux offered the following statement:
“Ron Paul is the only Republican running for President who has the credibility to actually follow through on his commitment to stop the runaway train of federal bureaucracy and spending.
“None of the other Republican candidates have offered a plan to make any meaningful cuts in federal spending. In fact, the other candidates only seem interested in wearing the conductor’s hat and tooting the horn a few times as the train goes over the cliff.
“Only Dr. Paul has actually offered a plan to cut spending in real terms rather than just trimming the planned increases. Dr. Paul has proven he has no interest in wearing the conductor’s hat or tooting the horn. He is only interested in pulling hard on the brake to keep the train from going over the cliff and taking all of us down with it.
“As a CPA, and Chairman of the Ways & Means Committee with responsibility for taxation and revenue, Dr. Paul is the only candidate I trust to deal with this immense problem and restore fiscal sanity to America’s budget process. Only Dr. Paul has consistently proven his commitment to limited government and less spending over the last 35 years.”
A former Deputy Chairman of the Republican Party of Louisiana, Charlie Davis has held many positions in the Party since 1995, and was recently elected unopposed to a new term on the Republican State Central Committee. A chief organizer of the “Pro-Life, Pro-Family” delegate slate that won the majority of the state’s 2008 Republican delegates, he also served as a delegate to the 2004 Republican National Convention and was a member of the 2008 Electoral College.
Mr. Davis also currently serves on the board of the Louisiana Family Forum and is married to Ellen Wray Davis with one son and two daughters. Mrs. Davis is former Political Director of GOPAC, former Executive Director of the Republican Party of Louisiana, and 2008 Republican National Convention delegate.
“Ron Paul best addresses the core problems that face America—the bloated federal bureaucracy, an ever-growing national debt, and a systemic loss of personal liberties that are threatening the very foundation of our Republic,” said Mr. Davis in his endorsement as he joined Rep. Robideaux for the Louisiana campaign co-chairmanship.
Ron Paul 2012 campaign Louisiana State Director Pete Chamberlain welcomed the endorsements as well as the intensity the co-chair structure will bring to the Bayou State effort.
“We are excited to announce Charlie Davis’ and Rep. Joel Robideaux’ leadership in the Louisiana campaign. The support of such highly esteemed Republican leaders, both of whom are on the vanguard of the conservative movement in Louisiana, speaks highly of the work already in progress and forthcoming efforts. It’s clear that the Ron Paul campaign is building the momentum and organization it will take to win Louisiana,” said Mr. Chamberlain.

Ron Paul Endorsed by Aiken City Councilman Gary Bunker
Popular legislator attends Dr. Paul’s fourth whistle stop and endorses him for the Presidency
COLUMBIA, SC – 2012 Republican Presidential candidate Ron Paul was introduced and endorsed today by the Hon. Gary Bunker, Aiken City Councilmember for District 7.
The endorsement took place at 3:15 p.m. EST at the 12-term Congressman from Texas’s Aiken Whistle Stop, which occurred at Bobby’s BBQ in Warrenville.
The stop was the fourth of five such whistle stops Dr. Paul is making today before ending Friday’s campaigning with a nighttime rally in Columbia.
Aiken is a city in and the county seat of Aiken County. With Augusta, Georgia, it is one of the two largest cities of the Central Savannah River Area.
“We appreciate Councilman Bunker endorsement of Ron Paul, as well as his kind words toward him. The weight the councilman’s endorsement carries promises to help us achieve a strong top-three finish in tomorrow’s primary election,” said Dr. Michael Vasovski, South Carolina State Chairman for the Ron Paul 2012 Presidential campaign.
The following are Councilman Gary Bunker’s remarks verbatim.
Hon. Gary Bunker
“Thank you very much for that kind introduction. I feel like I’m in good company standing here with Sen. Tom Davis, Sen. Danny Verdin, Dr. Mike Vasovski, and other fine South Carolinians in support of Congressman Ron Paul.
“As a member of the Aiken County Council, let me tell you why we need a Ron Paul Presidency.
“In Aiken County, we must balance our budget every year. Unlike the federal government, Aiken County can’t print money, monetize the debt, or inflate the currency. Yet even a well-run county will suffer if the economy drowns in debt and the dollar tanks. A Ron Paul Presidency will restore honest budgeting and fiscal discipline to the federal government, a discipline the county must practice each and every day.
“In Aiken County, we struggle to provide basic services without raising property taxes. Yet if the unaccountable Federal Reserve Board devalues the currency and increases inflation, both the county’s cost of borrowing and the county’s property tax rates will skyrocket. A Ron Paul Presidency will legalize sound money and improve our country’s economic security.
“In Aiken County, we can’t shuffle forwards or backwards, left or right, without bumping our shins against federal mandates and regulations. A Ron Paul Presidency will rein in the out of control regulatory agencies that make a mockery of federalism and local autonomy.
“In addition, as a conservative, I applaud Ron Paul’s valiant efforts to protect the unborn, defend the Second Amendment, and secure our borders.
“We must begin the restoration of America today. Seize the opportunity and vote for Ron Paul, our champion of liberty and constitutionalism, in tomorrow’s Republican Presidential primary.
“Ladies and gentlemen, the next President of the United States…Ron Paul!”

Ron Paul has been saying the same thing for 20 years and hasn't flip-flopped his positions to gain any favor from the lobbyist controlled washington or its constitutes. A doctor who has delivered thousands of babies into this world, a family man, a defender of the constitution, and a man who would end both of our costly wars the day he was elected. This is a man worth voting for.
Don't let the fact hes a republican scare you, as most liberal democrats are starting to join the Ron Paul revolution. His desire to audit the fed, a business that lends money with impunity to whoever it feels like, with no regulation. His concepts on foreign policy are simple. Be everyones friend, but nobodies babysitter. Stop giving money to other countries when ours is broke and in debt. Sorry, the ATM machine is closed, we have our own problems.
Its these simple, undeniably right opinions that make Ron Paul our next president. Those that know his stances, will push harder then anyone to campaign for the man, and we will get him in the white house. No Palins or Bachmanns or other simpletons with no plan. A real president, for a real country.

Ron Paul Super PAC Live Webcasting SC Primary, Urging Cable/Network Boycott

Revolution PAC panel and correspondents to break down contest and road ahead.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Northbrook, IL (PRWEB) January 20, 2012 - Revolution PAC, backer of U.S. Rep. Ron Paul’s bid for the Republican nomination, will host a live webcast on Saturday following the South Carolina Primary election. In conjunction with the event, the super committee is calling for a nationwide boycott of cable/network outlets, which have exhibited bias against Rep. Paul in their reporting.
“Pew Research just a few months ago confirmed the immense media bias against Dr. Paul,” explains Revolution PAC Chair Gary Franchi. “Despite his electoral success, he consistently receives the least national media coverage of all Republican candidates.”
Case in point, notes Franchi, was CNN’s post-Southern Republican Presidential Debate coverage Thursday, which provided coverage of neither Rep. Paul nor his debate remarks.
“Quite simply, Ron Paul’s supporters are losing their patience and are creating their own media opportunities,” says Franchi. “Revolution PAC is pleased to be able to offer this forum, and we anticipate a lively event on Saturday.”
Election analysis will be provided as the polls close tomorrow by Revolution PAC’s South Carolina correspondents and an in-studio grassroots liberty panel. The public is invited to participate in the webcast from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. CST Saturday, January 21 by visiting http://www.RevolutionPAC.com.
Rep. Paul received the coveted endorsement of South Carolina State Sen. Tom Davis Sunday, Davis calling Paul “a Tea Party of one against a towering wave of red ink.” At a Myrtle Beach press conference, Davis added, “There’s only one person speaking to what I believe is the core problem of our country today. The biggest threat to our liberty comes from debt.”
Joining Davis, three additional South Carolina state senators – Sen. Lee Bright (Spartanburg), Sen. Kevin Bryant (Spartanburg) and Sen. Danny Verdin (Greenville) – endorsed Rep. Paul Tuesday.
Reinforcing what is shaping up as a two-man race, Rep. Paul and Mitt Romney are the only Republican candidates who have successfully secured positions on the primary ballots of every state, reported South Carolina’s The State newspaper last week. A CNN/ORC International Poll released Monday also revealed that Paul and Romney are the only Republican contenders tied with Barack Obama in a likely general election matchup.
Revolution PAC is supporting U.S. Rep. Ron Paul’s campaign for the Republican nomination and consistent, constitutional message with targeted TV advertising, direct mail campaigns and innovative Web promotions complemented by billboards and radio ads in key primary states. Unlimited donations by individuals, businesses and organizations are being accepted by Revolution PAC to support that effort.

Ron Paul Wins Southern Republican Debate
By Dan in News with 8 comments Tags: Charleston, Republican candidates, Republican hopefuls, ron paul, SC, South Carolina tonight
19 Jan 2012
CHARLESTON, SC | Republican hopefuls met in Charleston, South Carolina tonight for the most recent primary debate; as the debate progressed a clear winner rose above the rank-and-file Republican candidates. Ron Paul rocked the house with his consistent message of liberty, small government, and fiscal responsibility. Despite attempts by other candidates and CNN to marginalize him (when discussing abortion the audience had to boo in order to get John King to ask Paul about his position on the subject) Paul was able to articulate how, as president, he would focus on fixing the problems in government instead of treating the symptoms produced by runaway government spending and intervention.
Of note was Paul calling out Rick Santorum for his consistent support for increased government spending, hyper-sensitivity to criticism, and weak position on right to work. Romney continued to dodge the issue of his tax return and was characteristically weak on pro-life and his record of supporting universal healthcare. Gingrich was heavily criticized for his amnesty for illegal aliens, pro-life voting record, marital issues, and general record for increasing government size.
With this stellar debate performance two days before the South Carolina primary Paul again drew a clear distinction between himself and the failings of the other primary candidates. It is now up to the voters of South Carolina to cast their vote for liberty…or more of the same.
