Our Ron Paul Dallas 2012 group rocked Dallas!!!
We had an sweet old school fire truck lead the way, followed by a Revolutionary man shackled in chains being paraded around by a Fed Reserve agent.
Lady Libery on top of the float, shackled and guarded by five Feds dressed to the part, five depts on the chopping block...(Energy, Education, Housing and Urban Development, Commerce and Interior), guarding her escape.
Supporters on top of the float throwing beads. Supporters walking next to the float passing out flyers. 800+ super brochures passed out!
Music was thumping, with Ron Paul themed songs.
We exposed thousands to Ron Paul and hopefully converted some of them to vote for the good doctor!
Our Ron Paul Dallas 2012 group worked real hard so give us a thumbs up for liberty!!!
If you are in the DFW area, join our group 400+ and growing!

The Real Delegate Score: Romney 93, Paul 82
Submitted by valleyforge on Tue, 02/21/2012 - 08:26
Every media outlet seems to have a different delegate count. But almost invariably we're told Ron Paul is in last place and far behind the leader Mitt Romney.
But none of these delegate counters properly estimate how the caucuses will allocate their delegates. According to the Paul campaign, Ron is well positioned to win 50% of the delegates in Iowa, 75% in Minnesota, 50% in Colorado, and 75% in Maine. So what is likely to be the true delegate count once the caucus states select their national delegates?
Add together the bound delegates from New Hampshire, South Carolina, Florida, and Nevada, and extrapolate the caucus states' delegates using the Paul campaign's estimates and you get:
Total Delegates (IA, NH, SC, FL, NV, MN, CO, ME)
Romney: 93 (6, 7, 2, 50, 14, 2, 7, 5)
Paul: 82 (13, 3, 0, 0, 5, 28, 17, 16)
Gingrich: 29 (0, 0, 23, 0, 6, 0, 0, 0)
Santorum: 25 (6, 0, 0, 0, 3, 7, 9, 0)
Unpledged: 14 (3, 2, 0, 0, 0, 3, 3, 3)
*Unpledged includes Huntsman's delegates in NH as well as unbound party leader delegates in certain states.
The caucus/convention process for selecting delegates has plenty of quirks along the way - the eventual delegates could be more evenly dispersed or could skew even more heavily to Paul as the majority candidate.
But this is a far more accurate portrayal of the true state of play than allocating delegates proportionately to the straw poll or entirely to the straw poll leader.
And it shows that, for now, this is a two-man race in delegates between Paul and Romney.

been tell'n ya the same thing for a very long time...... Once Ron Paul hit that 10% of Hard Core Following; he is the man to beat. Romney is on the way down; early states are the only thing that kept him high on the polls; while Ron Pauls following is going to grow... Once Paul stated he is looking at Judge Napolitano as a V.P. "WOW" LOOK for it to go over the Top on Super Tuesday ... the Message is getting out

BREAKING: "Ron Paul Wins CNN Arizona Republican Debate"
http://www.policymic.com/articles/4551/photo.jpg
In the final Republican debate before Super Tuesday, and perhaps the last of the race, Texas Congressman Ron Paul (R-Texas) made quick work of his opponents.
Though not known for his stellar oratory abilities or powerful stage presence, the libertarian gadfly stood out among the remaining candidates during Wednesday night's contest for the same reason he has been able to stay in the race thus far: his consistent and convincing defense of free markets and small government.
Paul opened his time by defending his criticism of Santorum as fake fiscal conservative. In response to CNN moderator John King's question, "Why did you call Senator Santorum a fake fiscal conservative?" Paul quipped, "Because he's a fake!" After the massive applause died down, Paul pointed out that most politicians are fiscal hawks during their campaigns, but they tend to be far less principled once elected. Santorum, who admitted he wouldn't cut defense spending, and supported dozens of federal spending increases while in Congress, perfectly fits this description.
During a slap fight that broke out over earmarks between the frontrunners, Paul was criticized for sending federal money back to his district. Paul rightly pointed out that he earmarks funds for his district because the money would otherwise be spent on wars and bank bailouts by the Executive Branch. Though he prefers the money not be taken from taxpayers in the first place, Paul argued that earmarks ensure that some of the money is sent back to the people who it actually belongs to.
Ron Paul Calls Santorum 'A Fake'
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YZPexbzJUU4&feature=player_embedded
On the auto bailout, Paul argued that all bailouts are economically harmful because they represent legalized theft. "Do we praise bank robbers if they are successful?" As many economists have long argued, Paul pointed out that bailouts save failing businesses at the expense of the rest of the economy, and that letting companies like General Motors fail is necessary if the economy is going to recover.
Should the government be involved in issues like contraception? Paul says no, because that's where the problem arises. Congress legislates morality; people of differing religious persuasions then fight incessantly over whose morality will be the law of the land. Much like abortion or gay marriage, the answer, according to Paul, is to return the decision to use birth control, and the cost of using it, to states and individuals.
Top Story: 4 Highlights From the Arizona Republican Debate
The Texas congressman also laid into Santorum for voting for Planned Parenthood while claiming to be a pro-life Senator. Santorum didn't deny the charge, but justified his vote by claiming that he authored legislation that would fund abstinence only education. Paul responded, "There's always an excuse for the spending."
Paul used a question about immigration to criticize our foreign policy of "worrying about the border between Pakistan and Afghanistan." He also claimed that we need to eliminate the incentives, mainly welfare, that encourage people to immigrate to America illegally. Meanwhile, the rest of the candidates argued over how to successfully arrest Mexican immigrants and build big fences along the southern border.
Ron Paul Explains Why War With Iran Is Wrong
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5mxQ2F4GUf8&feature=player_embedded
While Santorum, Romney, and Gingrich stuck to the neoconservative line that we have to keep building our military and policing the Middle East, Paul, following a long line of foreign policy experts, explained that we need to stop fighting aggressive wars and consider our role in fostering the rise of violent dictators around the world.
Because our influence in the region, and the fact that Iran doesn't have a nuclear bomb, Paul also claimed that the likelihood of Iran starting a nuclear war is minuscule. He also highlighted the enormous costs of an aggressive foreign policy, citing the Soviets as an example of what happens to countries that overextend themselves abroad.
All of the candidates took reasonable stances on education policy. Each correctly took shots at teacher unions and argued that the federal Department of Education needs to be reformed. But as Paul opined, the other three contenders didn't go far enough. Education should be a state and local issue, a position no other Republican on the stage consistently defended while in office.
At this point in the race, it's unlikely that Paul will win the Republican nomination, trailing far beyond Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum as he is. But after tonight's debate, the Texas congressman has illustrated why he's the best choice. If Republican voters, supposed conservatives, can't see that, then they deserve the champion of big government that their next president will be.

Ron Paul supporters bring about change at county convention
February 22, 2012
Regina Garvie
The Tuttle Times The Tuttle Times
Wed Feb 22, 2012, 11:25 AM CST CHICKASHA — It was standing room only at the traditionally quiet Grady County Republican Convention on Monday night in Chickasha.
With many of the new faces in the crowd sporting Ron Paul t-shirts and ball caps, it was obvious what caused the increase in attendance.
The Ron Paul supporters came to the meeting with the intent of being named as delegates to the Oklahoma fourth district convention and the state convention, where they hope to help send like-minded delegates to the national GOP convention later this year.
Matt Burke, Grady County coordinator for the Ron Paul campaign, alerted fellow Paul supporters to the date and time of the county convention and stressed the importance of signing up to be a delegate.
Burke and his wife, Michelle, who live in Blanchard, have been in contact with the Ron Paul campaign and county Paul supporters and undecideds. They also run a Facebook page for the candidate, "Grady County, OK for Ron Paul."
Part of the strategy of the national Paul campaign is to not only work towards winning the popular vote, but to also have high numbers of Ron Paul supporters as delegates to the national convention. Ultimately, it is the vote of the delegates, not individual voters, that decides who will be the Republican nominee for president.
In some states, delegates do not have to vote the way of the popular vote at all. Oklahoma is one of several states that requires its delegates to vote the way of the popular vote, but if in the first round of voting, no candidate receives the required amount of delegate votes - 1,144 - then a second vote is held in which all delegates can vote for whomever they personally choose.
With no clear front-runner so far in the GOP race, it is possible that no candidate will receive the 1,144 delegates and the second vote will decide who the nominee is. That's why Ron Paul supporters are working so hard to make sure those delegates are for Paul.
Precinct Meetings
Like many small counties in Oklahoma, Grady County does not hold separate GOP precinct meetings. Instead, those counties hold their precinct meetings during the county conventions.
After voting unanimously to send an open delegation to the district and state conventions, county chair Wade Steelman had moved into new business when, during a conversation on new precinct boundaries, he was asked who the precinct leaders were.
He explained that they didn't have precinct leaders because they had to have precinct meetings to elect people to those positions.
Al Gerhart, state coordinator for the Ron Paul campaign, spoke up, saying that if the meeting was publicized as county and precinct meetings combined, those present could break down into small groups based on precinct and elect their leaders.
Several present complained, saying they didn't even know their precinct number, but Richard Engle, a candidate for Republican National Committeeman, quietly discussed with Steelman what needed to be done, and after that, Steelman announced that the meeting would be breaking down into precinct meetings to select leaders and decide on anything else they wanted to discuss at the county meeting.
Steelman counted off, 1-41, so people in those precincts could raise their hands and find each other. A representative from each precinct announced where they voted, so those who did not know their precinct number could recognize their polling place.
GOP members were present from precincts 1, 2, 11, 25, 27, 28, 32, 37, 38, 39, 40 and 41.
Several precincts only had one representative, who held their own meeting and came out as precinct chair. Many others had two, and they took the chair and vice chair positions. Precincts 28, 32 and 37 are now headed by husband and wife teams, and others have relatives in both positions.
The largest precinct by far represented Monday night was 40, which votes at Tuttle United Methodist Church. Eleven people were there from precinct 40; when they raised their hands the crowd broke out into applause. That group elected James Gottman as their chair, his daughter Krislyn as vice chair and Kristi Hughes as secretary.
After electing their officers, the precincts gathered together in the main room and finished their county business. Michelle Burke volunteered to work on the county GOP website, to help local Republicans keep abreast of events.
After the county meeting was adjourned, county chair Wade Steelman said that he didn't know how long it had been since the Grady County GOP had held precinct meetings and elected leaders, but it had been a very long time.
Hopefuls speak
Several candidates for Republican offices also spoke near the end of the meeting. Brooks Mitchell, a licensed CPA and small business owner, is running for state corporation commissioner, and Ron Magar is running for state senate district 43.
The group also heard from Richard Engle, who was by that point a familiar face, having visited at the individual precinct meetings to help the process along and explain what they needed to do in their meetings. Engle is running for Republican national committeeman and is from Canadian County.
Engle said that the current committeeman isn't running for re-election, and is supporting Engle.
He said that it was an important position to him.
"I desperately want to do this job and it doesn't pay a penny," Engle said. "I have to pay to do it."
Another man, Wayne Watts, spoke up for two candidates who couldn't be at the meeting, Steve Fair, who is running for Republican national committeeman, and Peggy Davenport, who is running for senate district 43.
On to the conventions
After the meeting, the Ron Paul supporters shared out bumper stickers and other materials to help spread the word about their candidate, and members signed up as delegates for the upcoming conventions.
The fourth district convention will be held in Pauls Valley on April 20-21. Grady County is one of 15 counties in the district that will be sending delegates to Pauls Valley, and Grady County can send up to 24 delegates to the convention.
The state convention will be held on May 12 in Norman.
At the district convention, delegates will elect three national delegates to the Republican National Convention in Tampa. All together, Oklahoma's five congressional districts will choose 15 delegates for the national convention.
At the state convention, an additional 25 delegates will be elected to go to the national convention.
Three members of the Republican National Committee are automatically national delegates, bringing the total amount of delegates from Oklahoma to 43.
Those 43 delegates will join delegates from the other U.S. states and territories to cast their votes for Republican nominee for the 2012 presidential election

Ron Paul Leading Obama in New Poll of Arizona Voters
Beats the President in head-to-head matchup
LAKE JACKSON, Texas – 2012 Republican Presidential candidate Ron Paul bests President Obama in a head-to-head matchup in the state of Arizona according to a new NBC/ Marist Poll.
Paul beats the President 43 percent to 41 percent among Arizona voters according to the poll.“Ron Paul is the only candidate for president who is taking our debt crisis seriously, and addresses it with his Plan to Restore America,” said Ron Paul 2012 National Campaign Chairman Jesse Benton. “Arizona voters, like voters across America, are sick and tired of speeches filled with broken promises, more debt, less jobs, and less economic stability. As President, Ron Paul will rein in the spending, reduce the debt, and put Americans back to work.”
The results are based on a telephone survey conducted February 19th and 20th with a random sample of 2,487 registered voters living in Arizona.
The full results of the poll can be found here.
This comes on the heels of a series of polls showing Paul leading President Obama in head-to-head matchups in Virginia, Iowa, and Ohio.

Ron Paul on Santorum, He is a fake!!!!
Notable moments from GOP debate in Arizona
By Associated Press
Thursday, February 23, 2012 - Added 3 hours ago
Notable moments from the GOP presidential debate Wednesday night in Mesa, Ariz.
SANTORUM UNDER FIRE
Rick Santorum’s first debate since surging to the top of polls might be one he’d like to forget. The former Pennsylvania senator took fire from all sides — even from an unsympathetic audience that twice booed him during answers.
Santorum’s chief rival for the GOP nomination, Mitt Romney, led the attack. Within moments of the beginning of the debate, the former Massachusetts governor criticized Santorum for votes during his years in Congress to raise the debt ceiling, place earmarks in bills, and provide money for Planned Parenthood and the Education Department.
Romney wasn’t alone. Rep. Ron Paul dismissed Santorum’s conservative credentials, saying he was a "phony" conservative.
The audience took its shots when Santorum explained why he voted for the No Child Left Behind law, President George W. Bush’s signature education plan, and when he tried to talk over Romney during the debate.
Santorum fought back, attacking Romney for the health care plan he crafted as governor and for his support of the Wall Street bailout. But Santorum spent much of the night on the defensive.
___
BIRTH CONTROL
CNN debate moderator John King pressed the candidates for their views on contraception, a topic that’s arisen as a point of contention in the Republican primaries. The candidates — and the audience, which booed King’s question — were having none of it, though. They quickly pivoted to attacks on President Barack Obama.
Gingrich said that rather than discuss his own views on contraception he’d rather talk about Obama’s support of "infanticide." Romney said Obama’s polices on birth control have been an attack on religious tolerance.
Santorum used the discussion to warn about the dangers of out-of-wedlock pregnancies.
Paul, a doctor, says that contraception doesn’t lead to immorality, immorality leads to contraception.
IN A WORD
Forget the in-depth plans and white papers that candidates like to brag about. The GOP candidates were asked to describe themselves in a single word. Ron Paul said he is "consistent." Santorum described himself as "courageous." Romney said he is "resolute." There was a bit of laughter in the debate hall when the occasionally dour Gingrich chose his word: "Cheerful."
___
BLAME FOR OBAMACARE
Romney and Santorum’s sharpest exchange was on Obama’s health care plan. And, if you listen to them, the other candidate is the one to blame for it.
Santorum said Romney used government money to "fund a federal takeover of healthcare in Massachusetts" — a reference to the state law passed during Romney’s time as governor. Santorum said that law was a precursor to a federal overhaul by Obama and said Romney’s plan was used as the basis for Obama’s federal law mandating people have insurance.
Romney, in turn, said Santorum shared some of the blame for Obama’s plan — even though Santorum wasn’t in office at the time the law was passed in 2010. Romney said that Santorum’s support in a 2004 primary battle for then-Sen. Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania helped ensure his re-election. Specter eventually voted for Obama’s health care law.

Ron Paul in Detroit on Monday for a very different event
Submitted by David A Dudenhoefer on Thu, 02/23/2012 - 14:08
Dr. Paul will participate in a townhall event in Highland Park, a city next to Detroit and hit hard. Why this is so different, is that it is a townall with a demographic not normally addressed by candidates of any party...the poor and minorities of the inner city.
This was an idea that I had presented in theory to the campaign and we put it together. To add to the importance, the church that the event will be held at is used as a school for high school drop outs, an excellent venue to discuss the institutional racism going on in our legal and school system.
It is my hope that people from all political backgrounds can see the value in supporting Dr. Paul. I believe this will be a standard bearer for future urban cities and in future elections. We cannot ignore our urban cities and how status quo policies have effected them.
Any candidate can speak at Ford Field or the Detroit economic club, few if any will speak to the citizens in hard hit communities. Dr. Paul is one in a million.
Fun fact, the last presidential candidate to speak in the inner city in Detroit was Harry Truman in 1952.
Thank you Dr. Paul for being you.

WHAT RON PAUL'S DETRACTORS REVEAL
By Chuck Baldwin
February 23, 2012
NewsWithViews.com
It is no secret that I am a huge Ron Paul fan--and I have been for many years. Do I agree with him on every single issue? Of course not. And I don't have to agree with him on every single issue to know Ron Paul is the only true constitutionalist in the Presidential field--from either major party. And when a President (or any other public office holder) takes his or her oath of office, they do not swear to be a good conservative, or to be a good Christian, or to support the state of Israel, or to "create jobs," etc., etc. They swear to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States. That is their solemn oath before God and the American people. Nothing more. Nothing less. And for over two decades, Congressman Ron Paul has demonstrated his fidelity to that oath. And for that, I can and must support him.
In spite of Dr. Paul's stellar congressional record, however, there are large numbers of Republicans and "conservatives" that are his fiercest critics. I've even heard some "conservatives" say that they would rather see Barack Obama reelected than for Ron Paul to become President. Such is the lunacy of many so-called "conservatives" today.
So, what is it about Ron Paul's detractors that cause them to despise him so much? What is their beef? They would never say that they would rather Obama be reelected than to see Mitt Romney, or Newt Gingrich, or Rick Santorum elected President. In fact, most of them spout the antiquated mantra, "Anybody but the Democrat (whoever it happens to be at the time)." Or, "At least Romney, Gingrich, Santorum, etc., won't take us over the cliff quite as fast as Obama." But when discussing Ron Paul, many "conservatives" take the position, "Anybody but Ron Paul." Why is this? What is it about this good man that so many good people can have such animosity toward him?
I am convinced that these "conservatives" who oppose Ron Paul reveal much more about themselves than they do about Dr. Paul. Let me proffer a few observations.
Observation Number One: We Have A Constitutionally Illiterate Society
Many "conservatives" are woefully ignorant of the US Constitution, and when a constitutional scholar such as Ron Paul interjects the Constitution into the political debate, he is speaking a language that many of these "conservatives" simply do not understand. He might as well be speaking Spanish or French. To many "conservatives," the Constitution is a foreign language.
For the better part of the Twentieth Century, the Constitution was ignored and neglected. Pastors have never studied the Constitution. Businessmen have never studied it. High school teachers and college professors have never studied it. Policemen and sheriff deputies have never studied it. Even attorneys and judges haven't studied the Constitution. Let's be honest: we have a constitutionally illiterate society today. As a result of this constitutional ignorance, people (including Christians and "conservatives") simply cannot fathom--much less appreciate--constitutional solutions to America's political woes.
Dr. Paul knows the Constitution. He has studied it. He has read what America's Founding Fathers and framers have written about the Constitution. He has studied the enlightenment philosophers, theologians, and teachers--you know, the same ones that Thomas Jefferson and James Madison studied. He knows that the reason America is in the mess it is in today is because the Constitution has been abandoned. And he also knows that the only way to fix it (politically) is to return to constitutional governance. Therefore, when Dr. Paul talks about drugs, foreign policy, military adventurism, or even social issues, he does so from a constitutional point of reference. And the Constitution is clear when it comes to these matters. Domestic drug laws are the exclusive responsibility of the states--as is virtually every other law enforcement matter. Foreign entanglements, empire building, turning our military personnel into the world's policemen, etc., are all anathema to constitutional government. And the longer our political leaders continue to ignore the Constitution, the more America will continue to slide down this slippery slope in which we now find ourselves.
Ron Paul's position on these matters is in historical agreement with America's Founding Fathers and the US Constitution. The following report outlines Dr. Paul's sagacity regarding so-called "social conservatism" and the proper role of constitutional government (the title of the news report notwithstanding)
Dr. Paul's detractors demonstrate that they do not truly understand the US Constitution.
Observation Number Two: Many "Conservatives" Have A Misguided Perception Of Ron Paul's Position On The State Of Israel.
How many times have we heard Dr. Paul's critics say that Ron Paul is "against Israel"? Too many times to count. I have been with Ron Paul in public and private many times, and I have never heard the first anti-Semitic word come out of his mouth.Theologically speaking, you could not get a consensus of opinion from among the leading Biblical scholars and theologians regarding the modern state of Israel and Biblical prophecy if your life depended upon it. Many sincere Christians believe that the Biblical promises to Israel have all taken place in history past. Many sincere Christians believe that there are many promises to Israel that are yet future. And of these groups, many believe that the modern state of Israel is the fulfillment of Bible prophecy, while many others believe that the modern state of Israel has no relationship whatsoever to the future Davidic Kingdom. And the fact is, when it comes to America's foreign policy, it doesn't matter!
Constitutionally, the President of the United States owes his loyalty and allegiance to only one country: The United States of America. He has no right to interfere with the internal affairs of any country--including Israel. He has no authority to give trillions of dollars of hard-earned taxpayer dollars of foreign aid to any country--including Israel. When Americans go to the polls this November, they will elect the President of the United States, not the Prime Minister of Israel. As far as any American President is concerned, Israel, like every other nation, should be judged on the basis of its actions, good or bad (as should our own nation be judged). Any American President should do everything in his power to cultivate peaceful trade relations with foreign countries, and to protect America's people and territory from those nations that would attempt to harm us--no matter who that nation is.
Ron Paul's position on Israel is a constitutional one. He knows the US should stop meddling in her affairs and let her govern herself as she sees fit. Israel is a sovereign, independent nation fully capable of conducting her own affairs. What is amazing to me about so much of this Israel debate is the way many Christians ignore the fact that for every dollar the US gives to Israel, it gives at least four dollars to her Arab neighbors. Tell me again how this "blesses" Israel? How has America's foreign policy of manipulation and coercion into the political and commercial affairs of nations throughout the world (including the Middle East) "blessed" Israel--or any other nation, for that matter? Can anyone remember when Iran was our friend? And who was it that cut the legs out from under that friend and elevated a government that would become hostile to both the United States and Israel? The US State Department, that's who! Who orchestrated the rise to power of both Osama bin Laden and Saddam Hussein? The US State Department, CIA, etc., that's who! Who has repeatedly demanded that Israel swap "land for peace"? Various US Presidents and Secretaries of State, that's who! And what is currently stirring the pot of strife and hostility in the Middle East today? An interventionist US foreign policy, that's what!
It is no accident that Ron Paul receives more support from American military personnel, active and retired, than all other GOP Presidential candidates combined. See this report.
No matter what one's personal view of Biblical eschatology may be, the President of the United States is obligated to put the interests and safety of the people of the United States first! Period! How dare any President pander to ANY foreign country? How dare any President elevate ANY foreign nation to a position superior to the United States? And how dare any American citizen expect that our President would do either?
Observation Number Three: Ron Paul's Detractors Must Not Comprehend The Existence Of The New World Order (NWO).
Ladies and gentlemen, ever since the Woodrow Wilson administration, the United States has been increasingly under the influence of internationalists who desire to commercially merge the nations of the world into one global community. The United Nations is a major contributor to this agenda, as are a number of international organizations. The New World Order is not a fantasy; it is a developing reality! And Presidential administrations from both major parties have willingly collaborated with this draconian agenda. In fact, under Presidents George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton, G.W. Bush, and now Barack Obama, globalization efforts have mushroomed exponentially.
The Council on Foreign Relations, the Trilateral Commission, the Bilderbergers, etc., are major players in the creation of a NWO, as is the military-industrial complex, the Federal Reserve, and international banks on both sides of the Atlantic. Another major component of the establishment of a New World Order is the burgeoning surveillance society and police state that both major parties in Washington, D.C., seem determined to implement.
Ron Paul is the ONLY Presidential candidate from either major party that truly understands the New World Order and is determined to resist it. He's the only one! Mark it down, neither Romney, Santorum, nor Gingrich will lift a finger to resist the power elite inside the New World Order. They will do nothing to reverse the surveillance society taking shape in America. They will do nothing to resist the federal government's obsessive control-freaks who are running many federal bureaucracies. Either none of them understands it, or if they do, they are absolutely unwilling to lift a finger to resist it.
I can only conclude that Ron Paul's detractors haven't a clue about the New World Order. They must not see it. They must not understand it. They must not be able to identify it. They must be totally ignorant about it, or else they would clearly appreciate Dr. Paul's knowledge and acumen when he seeks to warn people about it and put himself on the firing line to oppose it. Even if one disagrees with Dr. Paul regarding particular societal issues, one must admire Ron Paul's stand against the New World Order--especially since he is the only one opposing it! It is obvious to me that the only people who cannot appreciate Dr. Paul's courageous commitment against the NWO are those who totally do not understand it.
Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying that everyone must agree with me and support Ron Paul for President. I know that good people can come to different conclusions in any political race. What I am saying is that it seems obvious to me that the vast majority of Dr. Paul's vocal detractors seem to demonstrate misperceptions--or even downright ignorance--in at least one or more of the above realities.
Support him or not, vote for him or not, any honest American who understands constitutional government, who understands what a constitutional foreign policy should look like, and who understands and is concerned that America is in the throes of a burgeoning New World Order MUST at least appreciate and admire Congressman Ron Paul. And as for me, I SUPPORT, AND WILL VOTE FOR, RON PAUL!

Chuck Baldwin -- What Ron Paul's Detractors Reveal
Ron Paul Says Conservative Hawks Are Fiscal Hypocrites
February 23, 2012 by Sam Rolley
http://personallibertycom.files.word...0222_image.jpg Republican Presidential candidate Ron Paul, in a statement regarding the recently released 2013 Federal budget, calls for an end to the hypocrisy of massive government spending and its negative impact on national security.
Paul writes that conservatives rightly complain about the more than $1 trillion deficit outlined in the budget, but that the same “conservatives” also complain that more money needs to be allocated for what the candidate refers to as overseas adventurism.
Citing “Attack of the Porkhawks,” an article written by the Cato Institute’s Doug Bandow, Paul argues that conservatives are using a tired liberal argument to defend the bloated military budget: More money equals better results. The Federal education system clearly disproves the theory, writes the candidate.
Paul writes:
Is there any amount of money that would satisfy the hawks and the neoconservatives? Even adjusted for inflation, military spending is 17% higher now than when Obama took office. Even the worst case scenarios of Obama’s “cuts”, adjusted for inflation, still put outlays at 2007 levels, which are 40% higher than a decade ago. Our total spending on overseas adventurism and nation building equals more than the next 13 highest spending countries in the world combined. Even if we were to slash our military budget in half, we would still be the world’s dominant military power, by far.Though the Republican establishment and mainstream media continue to defend the notion that Paul’s foreign policy is nothing short of insane, the candidate continues to enjoy comfortable support from many people with close ties to national defense. Michael Scheuer, the former head of the CIA’s Osama Bin Laden unit, endorsed Paul several months ago; and members of the armed forces overwhelmingly support the candidate.

In Case You Missed It: Ron Paul’s Plan Is the Only One That Reduces the Debt
“The plans of Republicans Newt Gingrich, Rick Santorum, and Mitt Romney would add trillions of dollars to the debt over the next decade.”
LAKE JACKSON, Texas– According to a recent nonpartisan report, 2012 Republican Presidential contender Ron Paul’s Plan to Restore America is the only budget plan from a presidential candidate that would actually reduce the national debt. While all the candidates have proposed tax cuts, Ron Paul is the only candidate to propose concrete spending cuts to reduce deficits and ultimately the national debt. Below please find an article from Bloomberg summarizing the report.
Paul Is Only GOP Contender Whose Policies Would Pare Debt, Analysis Finds
By Brian Faler
Ron Paul is the only major Republican presidential candidate whose policies would reduce the U.S. debt, according to a nonpartisan report.
The plans of Republicans Newt Gingrich, Rick Santorum and Mitt Romney would add trillions of dollars to the debt over the next decade, according to an analysis released today by the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget in Washington.
The primary reason is tax cuts. Each candidate has proposed breaks that would drain far more revenue from the treasury than the candidates propose to save through spending cuts, according to the report.
It is the first independent analysis of what the candidates’ platforms would mean for the U.S. government’s $15.4 trillion debt and comes as the leading Republican contenders criticize President Barack Obama for a spiraling deficit.
The plans of former House Speaker Gingrich would add the most, with tax-and-spending policies that would increase the debt by $7 trillion by 2021, according to the report. The proposals of Santorum, a former U.S. Senator from Pennsylvania, would add $4.5 trillion, the analysis said. Both would push the debt to more than 100 percent of U.S. gross domestic product, according to the report.

Ron Paul Issues Statement on Obama Tax Proposal
“Tax-borrow-spend-and-inflate is not the way to balance the budget, restore the economy, or create jobs”
LAKE JACKSON, Texas – 2012 Republican Presidential candidate and Texas Congressman Ron Paul issued the following statement regarding the Obama administration’s latest tax reform proposal. See comments below
“Last week President Obama gave us a budget plan that contains more big government, a massive tax increase, and more destructive policies piling even greater debt onto the American people.
“Now from his administration we get a so-called tax reform plan that seeks to solve our bad spending habit with more of the same policies that have done nothing to help get us out of the mess we’re in. Obviously, this president still doesn’t get it. Tax-borrow-spend-and-inflate is not the way to balance the budget, restore the economy, or create jobs.
“By placing new taxes on Americans who do business overseas, President Obama’s plan drives capital away from the United States. By contrast, my Plan to Restore America will bring as much as $1 trillion into America’s capital markets by allowing Americans to repatriate capital without incurring additional taxes. This will spur trillions in new investment, creating good jobs for Americans.
“President Obama’s does cut the corporate tax rate to 28 percent, however, this is still a higher corporate tax rate than in Europe so the effectiveness of this rate cut in enhancing the competiveness of American business is questionable. My plan reduces the corporate tax to 15 percent, which would free up capital for greater investment in expansion and job creation. My plan also extends all the current tax cuts, once again encouraging greater levels of investment in our economy.
“In addition, my Plan to Restore America gives hardworking families in this country a break by ending all taxes on personal savings allowing them to build a nest egg, which in turn strengthens our nation’s overall economy.
“Unlike the President, who promised to ‘cut the federal deficit in half’ by the end of his first term only to increase the deficit he inherited by billions and this year offer us yet another trillion-dollar deficit—I promise that if elected President to cut spending by $1 trillion my first year in office and plan to keep that promise.
“Fixing the problems our country faces takes bold leadership, bold ideas, and bold actions, not tired rhetoric, class warfare, and unfulfilled promises. As President, I pledge to do what it takes to get people back to work, and restore American prosperity.”

Ron Paul Endorsed By Payette County, Idaho Republican Party Chairman Nate Jones
Praises Dr. Paul’s understanding of individual liberty and the proper the role of government
BOISE, Idaho – 2012 Republican Presidential candidate Ron Paul was endorsed today by the Chairman of the Payette County Republican Party, Nate Jones of New Plymouth. Payette County’s main population centers include Fruitland, New Plymouth and Payette.
In making his endorsement public, Mr. Jones issued the following statement:
“I support Paul because he’s the only candidate that understands how absolutely crucial individual liberty is. He is the only candidate that has a correct understanding of the proper role of government. Congressman Paul is a ‘statesman’ in every sense of the word. He’s humble, but unafraid and unashamed to forcefully speak the truth, even when it’s unpopular…for it is often said that ‘truth is treason in the empire of lies.’
“I decided several years ago to vote by principle, no longer by popularity or persuasion, and have never looked back. My wife and I, along with our parents and many of our closest friends, have been awakened. We forever will be grateful for the knowledge Paul has given us. His message, if heeded, is the only one that will preserve this nation, God willing.”
Describing himself as “simply a husband and father of four,” Mr. Jones is by trade a web developer when not furthering the cause of freedom as a longtime activist. In addition to currently serving as the Chairman of the Payette County Republican Party, he is also Treasurer of the Idaho Young Republicans.
Providing a strong boost to Ron Paul’s Idaho state organization, such endorsements present Ron Paul as the conservative alternative to Mitt Romney. They also demonstrate that the 12-term Congressman from Texas has the only campaign organization capable of maintaining a 50-state competition with the moderate-establishment Romney.

Has Ron Paul Formed a Political Alliance With Mitt Romney?
Santorum claims two are in cahoots, Rand Paul would be “honored” to be VP pick
Paul Joseph Watson

Thursday, February 23, 2012
Special comment from Alex Jones: Ron Paul is an intelligent man of total integrity. I am willing to wait and see how this all shakes out before passing judgment.
However, just the idea of Paul’s campaign working with Mitt Romney to do some kind of political deal seems like a bad idea, and my initial reaction is that it’s unlikely to come to fruition.
The suggestion that Ron Paul and Mitt Romney are in cahoots because Paul is in the frame to be Romney’s VP pick has again surfaced following last night’s Republican debate in Mesa, Arizona, after which Rick Santorum claimed the two were coordinating attacks against his candidacy.http://www.deseretnews.com/images/ar...565/773565.jpg
“You have to ask Congressman Paul and Governor Romney what they’ve got going together,” Santorum told reporters. “Their commercials look a lot alike and so do their attacks.”“The President of the United States’s political action committee is now running ads that are just like Rick Santorum’s. Is Rick Santorum coordinating with the President of the United States? I don’t think so,” Stevens added, labeling Santorum’s claims “whiney silliness” and a means of distracting from legitimate criticism of his conservatism.
Santorum’s campaign strategist John Brabender repeated the charge, stating, “Clearly there’s a tag team strategy between Ron Paul and Mitt Romney. For all I know, Mitt Romney might be considering Ron Paul as his running mate. Clearly there is now an alliance between those two and you saw that certainly in the debate.”This is by no means the first time that the notion of Ron Paul becoming Romney’s VP has been mooted. As we reported earlier this month, GOP strategist Jack Burkman put his reputation on the line during an appearance on Fox Business when he boldly predicted that Ron Paul would be on the Republican ticket as a result of a brokered convention.“The likely leader will be Romney, but he won’t have enough delegates to win,” Burkman told Judge Andrew Napolitano, forecasting that Romney would pick Paul as his VP because “Gingrich and Santorum have extremely high negatives, nobody in their right mind would want them on the ticket.”“I am now affirmatively predicting that Ron Paul will be on the ticket, I’ll lay odds,” emphasized Burkman. The idea of Paul being subordinate to Romney, an establishment type with flip-flopping political positions, has split Paul supporters, with the majority of them seemingly hostile to any kind of deal being done that could compromise Ron Paul’s legacy as a rock when it comes to standing by his principles. However, others might suggest that Ron Paul maneuvering himself into a position where he will be one step away from the office of President in a potential Romney administration merely represents a smart political ploy, a way of beating the establishment at their own game. After all, Rand Paul’s successful Senatorial campaign, after which he has proven his stripes as a champion of liberty, was achieved partly by pandering to establishment Republican rhetoric on a limited number of issues such as the Iranian nuclear issue.
When reporters asked Rand Paul, a Tea Party favorite, what his response would be if Romney approached him with the offer of VP, he hardly poured cold water on the idea.“I don’t know if I can answer that question, but I can say it would be an honor to be considered,” said Senator Paul.Ron Paul campaign chairman Jesse Benton has also promoted Rand Paul as a suitable VP. “Any Republican should be looking at Rand Paul as a potential running mate, because he’s the smartest guy in the room. And he has tremendous credibility with conservatives. Any Republican should have Rand Paul on his short list,” Benton told the Dallas Morning News. While Ron Paul himself would never endorse Romney, some have speculated that the GOP establishment has infiltrated the Paul campaign in a desperate bid to prevent Paul from running third party. Certain Paul campaign officials are ready to “sell out” on huge areas of Paul’s platform – such as non-interventionism – in the belief that it will give them a seat at the table in a Romney administration. For their part, the Romney campaign has completely dismissed the idea of an alliance with Ron Paul.“If ever there was an iconoclast who got up there and said what he believed, it’s Ron Paul,” said Stuart Stevens, Romney’s chief strategist.
Given the overwhelming amount of evidence that suggests the Republican establishment is trying to cheat Ron Paul out of being able to build the kind of momentum that could see him challenge Romney, has the Paul campaign attempted to one-up the system by pulling off such an audacious political stunt?
What do you think? If in fact Ron Paul is coordinating with Romney as a shortcut to securing an influence in the next administration, whether through his son Rand or himself being in line for the VP slot, is this a necessary evil where the rewards outweigh the costs, is it a clever political move, or does it represent an abrogation of the principles that helped build the Ron Paul Revolution in the first place?

Rick Santorum struggles to defend his record in heated debate
By Felicia Sonmez, Published: February 22
After weathering a media firestorm this past week over a series of provocative comments he made regarding President Obama’s religion, prenatal testing and other issues, former senator Rick Santorum (R-Pa.) had entered Wednesday night’s presidential debate in Mesa, Ariz., aiming to portray himself as the “authentic” candidate and only consistent conservative in the race.
Instead, he fell fall short of that goal.
Santorum, who has been riding a surge of momentum in the polls, found himself struggling to defend his record in Congress as his presidential rivals blasted him on earmarking, contraception and the No Child Left Behind law at the CNN debate, the last showdown before next month’s Super Tuesday contests.
“Politics is a team sport, folks,” a resigned Santorum said at one point when challenged to explain his support for George W. Bush’s signature education law, which Santorum had later said he regretted supporting.
He explained Wednesday night that he’d backed the law because sometimes in politics it’s necessary to “take one for the team” – an explanation that contrasted sharply with his previous scrappy debate performances, and one that’s likely to leave him vulnerable to criticism ahead of key primaries in Arizona and Michigan next week.
Romney, in turn, came under fire for his newly-released tax plan, which Santorum argued amounted to “raising taxes on the top one percent, adopting the Occupy Wall Street rhetoric.” Santorum also questioned Romney’s record as governor, saying he required hospitals to provide the “morning after” pill to victims of rape, a charge that Romney dismissed as untrue.
The debate, sponsored by CNN and held at the Mesa Arts Center, was the 20th of the primary race and is perhaps the final showdown of the GOP primary race. It came as Santorum is eroding Romney’s lead in several key states, including Michigan and Arizona.
Also taking part in the debate were former House speaker Newt Gingrich (R-Ga.) and Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas), both trailing in the polls. Texas Gov. Rick Perry (R), who dropped his White House bid and endorsed Gingrich last month, was also in the crowd, seated next to Gingrich’s wife, Callista.
Paul, who has begun airing sharp attack ads against Santorum, kept his sights trained on the former Pennsylvania senator Wednesday night, reprising his charge that Santorum is “a fake” and arguing that he has previously supported Planned Parenthood.
Gingrich, meanwhile, took a lower profile than during previous debates, although he made the claim at one point in the night that “not once in the 2008 campaign did anyone in the elite media ask Barack Obama why he voted in favor of infanticide.”
With an eye toward regaining lost ground in the race, Romney on Wednesday released a new tax plan hours after President Obama released his own tax proposal.
In response to Santorum’s criticism, Romney contended Wednesday night that his plan is “going to cut taxes on everybody across the country by twenty percent,” including taxes on the very wealthy.
Romney’s plan includes changes such as lowering the top tax rate from 35 percent to 28 percent and reducing the corporate tax rate to 25 percent. The White House plan, meanwhile, would cut the corporate tax rate to 28 percent and would raise revenue through closing various loopholes and eliminating deductions.
Romney also found himself defending his contention during a speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference earlier this month that he had a “severely conservative” record as governor of Massachusetts.
Asked to clarify what he meant, Romney doubled down: “Severe. Strict. I was without question a conservative governor in my state.”
But it was Santorum who had the most at stake in the debate – and who floundered when challenged time and again by his rivals on various parts of his record as senator from Pennsylvania, such as his record on earmarking.
“What happened is there was abuse,” Santorum said of the legislative pet projects. “When abuse happened, I said we should stop the earmarking process. But I did say there were good earmarks and bad earmarks.”
He then pivoted to offense, attacking Romney for having sought earmarks for the Salt Lake City Olympics in 2002. But Romney appeared to turn back the attack with ease.
“While I was fighting to save the Olympics, you were fighting to save the Bridge to Nowhere,” he told Santorum.
Romney also hammered Santorum for his support in 2010 of Arlen Specter, the longtime Pennsylvania senator who changed parties and ran as a Democrat when faced with a tough primary challenge from conservative former congressman Pat Toomey. The endorsement has haunted Santorum on the campaign trail, and Romney on Wednesday slammed the senator’s explanation of his support as “tortuous.”
A CNN/Time/Opinion Research poll released Tuesday showed Romney taking 36 percent in Arizona to Santorum’s 32 percent, with Gingrich taking 18 percent and Paul garnering six percent. And surveys in Michigan also show the momentum in the race is on Santorum’s side, in large part because former supporters of Gingrich are now flocking to the former Pennsylvania senator’s side.
The Arizona debate was to be followed by another CNN debate early next month in the Super Tuesday state of Georgia. But Romney, Paul and Santorum all signaled that they would not participate, and plans for the debate were scrapped.
Noteworthy about the debate was the fact that all four candidates were seated together at a table, as opposed to standing, as they have done at previous debates; the format meant that they were lobbing heated attacks at one another while seated somewhat uncomfortably side-by-side.
At one point in the debate, the candidates were asked to explain themselves in one word, “without caveats or explanations.”
Ron Paul’s answer: “Consistent.”
Santorum? “Courage.”
Mitt Romney: “Resolute.”
And Newt Gingrich answered, “Cheerful.”

Report: Debt would grow under all but one GOP contender
National Journal
February 23, 2012
The national debt would expand under three of the four GOP presidential candidates, according to an analysis of the candidates’ proposals, The Washington Post reported.
The debt would grow by about $4.5 trillion by 2012 under former Pennsylvania senator Rick Santorum and by about $7 trillion under former House speaker Newt Gingrich, reaching a level greater than 100 percent of the nation’s economy, according to a report to be released on Thursday by U.S. Budget Watch, a project of the bipartisan Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget.
Former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney’s proposals would pair $1.35 trillion in tax cuts with $1.2 trillion in spending reductions, setting the debt to rise “on a trajectory that closely tracks current policies,” The Post reported. But the 20 percent, across-the-board federal income tax cut proposed by Romney on Wednesday could reduce revenues by an additional $3.5 trillion over the next decade, The Post reported.

When one puts aside all the histrionics, all the melodrama, all the irrelevant secondary bullshit such as appearance, charisma, ability to tele-evangelize, all the irrelevant policies such as what planet the US should colonize or how women should procreate, and focuses on just one thing: which presidential candidate (not to mention president) will do the right thing for America, which is to make sure that it doesn't collapse under a record debt load, there is just one answer. And it is not even ours: it comes from the impartial Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget Project, aka US Budget Watch ("U.S. Budget Watch neither supports nor opposes any candidate for office. Its reports are intended to promote understanding and discussion of the federal budget and how specific policy proposals would affect the deficit") which today released an analysis on debt sustainability titled "The GOP Candidates and the National Debt." The answer is in the chart below.
