VIDEO: RP Gives Impromptu Speech to Overflow Supporters Outside in DRIZZLE

This video has only a few views, so I thought I'd post it even though this speech in Vancouver, Washington is two days old. These folks didn't get inside the auditorium Ron gave his speech in. They waited for him. On his way out, he saw them and delivered this on-the-spot speech.

It's refreshing and inspiring to know our candidate, the Constitution's Champion, goes to this length to spread the message! He's there for us and we're there for him! Go, Ron Paul!

Ron Paul's consistently strong anti-war message is one that resonates with many U.S. troops today. Hundreds of active duty troops, veterans, and Paul supporters marched from the Washington Monument to the White House this afternoon. Sick of fighting seemingly never-ending wars overseas, troops that took part in the march say they are ready for radical change. Liz Wahl spoke to veterans that say their only hope for that is getting Paul into the White House.

Maybe the RP message is hitting a tipping point, maybe it was the many months of discussing, debating, and convincing my parents that Ron Paul is the only sane candidate running for president. I'm not sure what the exact reason, but today my dad told me he donated to the Ron Paul campaign.

I was shocked, happy, and in somewhat disbelief when he told me that. Why? My parents are practicing Jews, are avid fox news watchers, strong Israel supporters, and attend many lectures about the Iran/Israel situation. If people like my parents can accept and embrace Ron Paul, there is lots of hope for other NeoCons out there who have way less allegiance to Israel. Do not give up hope on NeoCons. Talk to them, explain to them RP's foreign policy, be kind, LISTEN to what they have to say, and address their concerns. Some won't listen, but some will! Focus on the people that will listen, and good things will come

My parents are still not completely sold on RP's foreign policy, but they recognize that he's the only one who can turn this nation around. I think we are on the verge of something great here in 2012. Do not lose hope!

Fox News star to be Ron Paul’s VP?

As a variety of names are now being floated for presidential running mates, Republican candidate Ron Paul says ousted Fox News host Judge Andrew Napolitano might be at the top of his list.

Paul was asked the question about whom he would like on a White House ticket with him at a recent public meeting, and he said, “One time somebody asked me who I’d have to consider and the name Judge Napolitano jumps right out at me.”

While the audience erupted with cheers of approval, Paul continued: “But when you think about the danger of mentioning one or two means you’re not going to mention quite a few others that would certainly be qualified. That’s a great story, you know, the fact that there are a lot of people now that are well-known and well-educated and know the issues and would do a very good job.”

Napolitano’s “Freedom Watch” show was recently canceled by the Fox Business Channel, but during numerous on-air segments, Napolitano had frequent flattering remarks about Paul, while criticizing other presidential hopefuls including former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney and former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum.

“There is a hunger in the land for a game changer, and Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum are not up to that,” Napolitano said in early January. “There is a need in the country for a government that stays within the confines of the Constitution, or we’ll all end up like the socialists in Europe, and Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum are not up to that. There is a rumbling in the countryside that the government should shrink and live within its means, and Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum are not gonna make that happen.”

With a giant photo of Paul on the screen behind him, Napolitano said, “Only one man remains faithful to the principles of free market and small government, to the Constitution and to personal freedom, to defending the nation without being the world’s police force. Only one. You know who he is.”

The Real Delegate Score: Romney 93, Paul 82

Every media outlet seems to have a different delegate count. But almost invariably we're told Ron Paul is in last place and far behind the leader Mitt Romney.

But none of these delegate counters properly estimate how the caucuses will allocate their delegates. According to the Paul campaign, Ron is well positioned to win 50% of the delegates in Iowa, 75% in Minnesota, 50% in Colorado, and 75% in Maine. So what is likely to be the true delegate count once the caucus states select their national delegates?

Add together the bound delegates from New Hampshire, South Carolina, Florida, and Nevada, and extrapolate the caucus states' delegates using the Paul campaign's estimates and you get:

Total Delegates (IA, NH, SC, FL, NV, MN, CO, ME)

Romney: 93 (6, 7, 2, 50, 14, 2, 7, 5)

Paul: 82 (13, 3, 0, 0, 5, 28, 17, 16)

Gingrich: 29 (0, 0, 23, 0, 6, 0, 0, 0)

Santorum: 25 (6, 0, 0, 0, 3, 7, 9, 0)

Unpledged: 14 (3, 2, 0, 0, 0, 3, 3, 3)

*Unpledged includes Huntsman's delegates in NH as well as unbound party leader delegates in certain states.

The caucus/convention process for selecting delegates has plenty of quirks along the way - the eventual delegates could be more evenly dispersed or could skew even more heavily to Paul as the majority candidate.

But this is a far more accurate portrayal of the true state of play than allocating delegates proportionately to the straw poll or entirely to the straw poll leader.

And it shows that, for now, this is a two-man race in delegates between Paul and Romney.

What have you done for the Ron Paul campaign?!

Did you make a huge sign? Did you cover your car in bumper stickers? Did you spend hours canvasing? Did you donate to the campaign again and again?

Ron Paul Patriot Nation is a new website that is designed to build support for Ron Paul by showcasing the support that he already has. People have come up with some amazing and creative ways to help the Ron Paul 2012 campaign and we'd like to preserve all those things to inspire the rest of the country.

The point is to collect and harness the energy and excitement that comes from the grassroots. So many people do great things and post links to photos of them on sites like this, but they go by fast and get lost in the shuffle. They now have a home!

Although it is fun, this is a real campaign strategy. We need to build more momentum and the grassroots is crucial. Let's get existing supporters to inspire new supporters with all they have done.

I posted a link to this site a couple of weeks back asking for some feedback and I would like to send a big thank you to all those people that submitted "good deeds" early for testing.

Each person that uses the site can accumulate Ron Paul 2012 "good deeds" that correspond to the ways in which they support the campaign. That includes everything big and small, from a bumper-sticker to a hot-air balloon to volunteering to be a delegate.

Some of your "deeds" can have uploaded photos or videos, and others are just records of what you've done for the campaign.
