    “Getting” Ron Paul

Most journalists simply don’t get Ron Paul. A big part of it is journalists not being able to understand anything other than what they’ve been taught to understand, which in politics amounts to little more than the horserace before them. Journalists understand how to cover a conventional campaign. They really don’t know what to do with a movement. Plus, they can be pretty lazy. Trust me.

In his review of Reason’s Brian Doherty’s book on Dr. Paul, James Antle makes some keen observations concerning Ron Paul and media coverage at Real Clear Books:

Brian Doherty aside, most reporters don’t know what to make of Ron Paul. This observation isn’t simply a clichéd swipe at the “drive-by media” or the dinosaurs of the dreaded “MSM.” To the working press, from the Red Bull-addled gumshoes at Internet start-ups to grizzled veterans of the campaign trail, Paul’s two Republican presidential bids simply do not compute.

This only partly due to liberal bias, the smothering conventional wisdom that sees no practical difference between restoring the Constitution and returning the powdered wig to its proper place in American fashion. Gold standard? Letters of marque and reprisal? Mainstream media eyes glaze over…

The biggest problem is that there is no easy media narrative for what Paul is doing. The success or failure of most presidential campaigns is determined by two simple metrics: winning the nomination and winning the White House. Whatever his principled disagreements with Mitt Romney, when Rick Santorum suspended his presidential campaign, that was all she wrote. There is no generation of Rick Santorum Republicans ready to run in his place. When John Kerry came up short in Ohio against George W. Bush in 2004, he became yesterday’s news…

(But Paul) is still attracting crowds that number in the thousands on the stump. His online money bombs raise millions of dollars even as this late stage of the campaign. Most importantly, his supporters are crowding Republican state conventions and district meetings. The result is that Paul is accumulating a surprising number of delegates…

The Ron Paul forces are still giving the Republican establishment fits months after their campaign was presumed dead. They took 16 out of 19 delegates allocated by congressional district caucuses in Romney’s home state of Massachusetts. Paulites even denied a delegate slot to Romney’s former lieutenant governor. Delegate-wise, Paul may turn out to be the winner in Iowa after all. The state GOP will be chaired by Paul supporters in both Iowa and Alaska.

Paul’s legacy includes dozens of Ron Paul Republicans, the most successful being his son Rand Paul, the junior senator from Kentucky, and the up-and-coming young Michigan Congressman Justin Amash. This is what makes Paul so hard for the media to cover: he is clearly having a bigger long-term impact than the 1972 John Ashbrook presidential campaign, but movement-building doesn’t fit neatly into the horserace mentality of most political journalism.

Doherty ends his book with an exchange between Paul and an ABC News reporter. What would Paul do to improve his poll numbers? “I don’t change my message,” Paul replied. He then followed up with what Doherty describes as “that slightly hesitant Ron Paul thoughtfulness”: “I change minds.”

Ron Paul is changing the Republican Party right before our very eyes.

Rand Paul: GOP Needs Ron Paul Supporters to Grow

    Reports The Des Moines Register:

Sen. Rand Paul, in Des Moines today, said if the Republican Party wants to grow, it needs to include supporters of his father who bring different views on certain issues.

“People talk about it being a big tent – having a big tent means bringing in the Ron Paul people. And if you do, your party will grow,” he said…

Drew Ivers, a Ron Paul campaign official in Iowa, called the changes “growing pains” that are offset by the benefits of growing the party. He said people new to politics can be “zealous” and don’t always understand customary procedures, but they will learn with experience.

Paul spoke at an event sponsored by Americans for Prosperity, a super-PAC that opposes President Obama’s green energy agenda…

Sen. Paul is right. The Ron Paul people are not only growing the GOP–they’re transforming it.

Shadow Government Would Thrive With Romney as President

    By Brandon Turbeville
    May 11, 2012

Anyone who has watched even a single 2012 Republican Primary debate should be aware by now that there is has been an unshakeable commitment by virtually every candidate to the colonial “state” of Israel.

Although Ron Paul’s position on Israel is somewhat more tempered than that of his Republican counterparts, not one of the other candidates is capable of even remotely criticizing Israel or its acts of aggression and oppression throughout the region.

The same situation exists for the Democrats as their incumbent candidate, Barack Obama, has already proven himself to be one of the most ardent and willing supporters of whatever decision is made by the Israeli government and the hidden hand behind it.

Yet it is the Republican field, partly because of the primary races and partly because of the demographic makeup of its supporters, that inspires such an “I support Israel more than you do,” contest at every debate.

Indeed, it has been hard to tell which candidate (when all were still in the race) was the loudest supporter of Israel at any given time.

However, during the course of the circus known as American political debates, when platform policies did not seem convincing enough to some members of the audience, there were at least two candidates who began to play the “established friendship” card as a method to demonstrate their already-developed sense of Israeli-American relations.

One of these instances was at a Republican debate on December 12, 2011 where Newt Gingrich, in a testy exchange with Mitt Romney after his claim that the Palestinians were an “invented people,” stated that he had known Benjamin Netanyahu since 1984.

Romney countered that statement with the fact that he also knew Netanyahu, after having worked together many years ago at a “consulting firm.”

Romney actually went much further than Gingrich and stated that, before he made any comments about the Israeli/Palestinian situation, he would contact his friend “Bibi” and essentially ask Netanyahu for permission to make his statement.

“Before I made a statement of that nature [Gingrich’s “invented people” comment],” Romney said, “I’d get on the phone to my friend Bibi Netanyahu and say ‘Would it help if I say this? What would you like me to do?’” As many commentators have pointed out, Romney’s position is nothing more than the outsourcing of American foreign policy to Israel.

Nevertheless, both of these statements were made as a matter of fact. Yet, most likely due to the context in which the comments were made, as well as the nature of the mainstream media, for several months there was no attempt to uncover just how close these three individuals actually are.

Gingrich holds connections to Netanyahu through relatively obvious means as both were political leaders in their respective countries at the same time.

Not only that, but Gingrich and Netanyahu share a common fundraiser, Sheldon Adelson, who is often considered one of the richest men in the world by mainstream sources.

Mitt Romney’s connection goes back a bit further, however, and the friendship between the two men seems to be much more personal. In fact, the relationship is so “coincidental” that one might be justified in wondering whether or not this friendship actually began as some kind of intelligence/shadow government operation where both men were being groomed for their respective posts as they exist currently and may develop in the future.

It certainly wouldn’t be the first time a President has been groomed by the intelligence community for his future position. Of course, at this point, the evidence is only circumstantial. Still, considering what we know about the operations of the Shadow Government, it would be wise to remain aware of these connections.

With that in mind, it is reported by Michael Barbaro of the New York Timesthat Romney and Netanyahu first met in 1976 after both men had been hired as “corporate advisers” to Boston Consulting Group (BCG).

In one of the “coincidences” revealed by the report, it is noted that both men attended business school in Boston with Romney attending Harvard and Netanyahu attending MIT, two institutions that have clear links and history with intelligence agencies, elitist think tanks, secret societies, and other related affairs.

Upon arriving at BCG, the two men had already developed quite a reputation for themselves, as Romney was the son of a Michigan Governor and former Presidential candidate; and Netanyahu had recently completed a tenure with the elite special forces unit of the Israeli military.

Both Romney and Netanyahu have publicly recalled the days when they were coworkers at BCG. As Barbaro writes:
Mr. Romney, never known for his lack of self-confidence, still recalls the sense of envy he felt watching Mr. Netanyahu effortlessly hold court during the firm’s Monday morning meetings, when consultants presented their work and fielded questions from their colleagues. The sessions were renowned for their sometimes grueling interrogations.
‘He was a strong personality with a distinct point of view,’ Mr. Romney said. ‘I aspired to the same kind of perspective.’
Quoting Netanyahu in reference to the same period, the article reads, “’His star, the prime minister said of Mr. Romney’s time at Boston Consulting, ‘had already risen.’”

Both men spent two years at BCG with Romney’s tenure lasting from 1975-1977 and Netanyahu’s affiliation with the company running from 1976-1978.
While still attached to BCG, Netanyahu returned to Israel to create an “anti-terrorism foundation,” while Romney famously switched companies to notorious asset stripper Bain & Company where he helped destroy the businesses and lives of thousands of people.

In yet another interesting “coincidence,” during his time at Bain, Romney worked closely with Netanyahu’s second wife, Fleur Cates. Although Bibi and Fleur later divorced, the New York Times reports that she and Romney are still in contact with one another.

The connections between Romney and Netanyahu have persisted, evolving into what Barbaro describes in his article as a “network of friends.” Network is an definitely an interesting term in this context and it may be more accurate than Barbaro intended it to be.

Nevertheless, after Romney’s election as the Governor of Massachusetts, Netanyahu paid him a visit where the two men allegedly discussed various aspects of government life, specifically the hallmarks of union-busting, asset stripping, and privatization, policies both men have such a fondness for.

A few years later, Romney himself traveled to Israel where the two men met in the Old City in Jerusalem and allegedly discussed economics. At this discussion, Netanyahu told Romney that he was engaging in a campaign to discourage American pension funds from investing in companies connected to Iran. At this statement, Romney “immediately saw the wisdom of his action” and organized meetings between Netanyahu and American government officials.

Romney then embarked on his own campaign of politically motivated investment strategies by sending out letters to legislators suggesting they sell off all assets of corporations doing business with Iran held by any pension funds under their control.

Unfortunately, America’s irrational support of Israel will not change regardless of who is elected in November.

Obama, with the exception of some very mild rhetoric, could scarcely be more cooperative with Israeli Government interests; and Romney is quite open about his willingness to be drawn into WWIII.

This is to be expected since both men are public representatives for the same agenda, just like their predecessors.

Because of this fact, it would be very interesting to investigate just what Romney’s ties to the intelligence community may be.

After all, he has openly professed his parallel vision with the mad dog of the Middle East, Bibi Netanyahu. As Romney has stated, “We can almost speak in shorthand. We share common experiences and have a perspective and underpinning which is similar.”
Of course, it should also be pointed out that Romney and Obama’s loyalty to Israeli interests does not equal loyalty to the Israeli people, who are only being used as the battering rams and triggers of destabilization and world war. Nor do the American people factor into this equation as anything but financiers and warm bodies for future military adventures.

With the obvious oppression of the Palestinian people, we see a clear recipe for a lose-lose-lose situation all the way around, except for the very small cliques at the top who will laugh, as they always do, all the way to the bank.

Ron Paul Closing the Gap – Stand Ready to Fight and Win

Posted on May 10, 2012 by Henry Shivley

So, it is Mitt Romney and Barack Obama, running neck in neck in the general election.

    NO IT IS NOT!!!

Mitt Romney has NOT been nominated as the GOP candidate.

Therefore, he and Obama cannot be running neck in neck in any election.

If Ron Paul continues to gain delegates at the rate he is at present, it is all together conceivable that he, not Romney, could win the nomination on the first round of the convention.
The mainstream media, in its deliberate actions in falsely reporting the GOP delegate count, is guilty of conspiracy to insurrection, as it is an act of treason to remove our representative form of elected government from our Constitution.

If there no longer remains any avenue for we the people to assert our will, this can no longer be called a government of the people and by the people.

It has become common knowledge that our government officials are bought and paid for by foreign corporations and foreign governments.

The ongoing theft of our natural resources to the tune of trillions of dollars a year is out front and obvious, yet it seems any remedy is being put out of reach.

The draconian legislations that have been put into place for the past thirty years have reduced us to fearing even to talk to one another about what our government is up to.

Our courts, from the top to the bottom, are corrupted.

The absolute reality of the dismissal of Ron Paul will have to become evident before the Republican Convention in August. We are reaching the point that something simply has to give. Either these insurgents are going to have to go into retreat or they are going to have to attack with everything they have, in the hope that they can buffalo us into surrendering our firearms, because they sure as hell do not possess anything close to what would be necessary to take them from us in a dog fight.

If they attack us we must counter attack and not stop until every one of them is destroyed. In the long run, this will actually save lives, as it will soon become apparent that their effort is futile and doomed to failure. We must become vicious and determined. In the end we will not settle for half measures.

We will have our Republic back under our Constitution, absolute. And we will put in place new safeguards to make sure it will be many generations down the line before these vipers find a way to slither their way back into the lives of our progeny.

God bless this Republic, collapse the international corporate mafia, we shall prevail.

    New Delegate Count: Paul Rising!!!

Posted on May 11, 2012 by Admin

Lemon Global We have noticed many people are confused on our delegate count.

Well our Delegate Count is actually very accurate.

But Delegate Counts is mostly guessing, the reason for this is because of the Non-Binding Caucuses.

This is of course the states, Ron Paul’s Campaign even says; Ron Paul wins. Ron Paul has not won the Popular Votes; but he has been winning what actually matters, Delegates.

Lemon Global has some Grassroots we use to make a more educated guess on the true delegate count; but really many grassroots believe we are being way too conservative.

So the reasons why CNN and the AP have different delegate counts is because; half the delegates, they have to guess on. But the thing is they are hiding, that all the evidence from supporters and the delegate meetings show Ron Paul has the most delegates in these states.

    Delegate Count A:
This delegate count discredits Gingrich as there is no reason for him to keep his delegates, and this delegate count doesn’t include Pennsylvania as their delegate process is still in session.

    • Romney 785
    • Ron Paul 440
    • Santorum 197

    Delegate Count B:

    This delegate count discredits Santorum.

    • Romney 846
    • Ron Paul 576

    Not Mitt

Submitted by Steve Dickson on Fri, 05/11/2012 - 00:47

There are those who would have you believe that Mitt Romney is overwhelming choice of Oklahoma Republicans. 72% of Oklahoma Republicans voted for “not Romney” on March 6th, also known as Super Tuesday. That is a significant number of voters who reject the former Governor of Massachusetts. As other candidates have fallen away, only one man stands against the tide: Ron Paul.

Of the 43 Delegates to the GOP National Convention, 25 will be chosen at May 12th’s GOP State Convention, to be held at the Embassy Suites in Norman. These Delegates are referred to as “at-large”, meaning they do not represent a Congressional District but the state as a whole. The State Executive Committee has gone through more than 150 potential candidates and chosen a final 25 for Delegate and 25 for Alternate, after an extensive review of their biographies and an interview (either in person or on the phone).

    Here is the result:

More than 60% of the “official slate” supports Mitt Romney.

Oklahoma Delegates are “bound”, meaning that they are required to vote, on all Ballots, for a particular nominee (unless you are the Chairman of the Party, the National Committeeman or the National Committeewoman, who are “unbound”). Former Senator Santorum won Oklahoma, and earned 14 Delegates. Former Governor Romney won 13 Delegates. Former Speaker Gingrich won 13 Delegates. Current Congressman Paul won no Delegates – but he has not quit the race. When Senator Santorum’s 14 Delegates and Speaker Gingrich’s 13 Delegates are released, who will win them? Will it be Romney or Paul – the only two candidates remaining?

Supporters of Ron Paul and his message of Constitutional Liberty have rallied to win all Delegates and Alternates in three of Oklahoma’s five Congressional Districts, and a number of Alternates in the other two. This is in spite of extensive violations of the rules and procedure in the 1st Congressional District. Among the other events of Saturday’s State Convention will be the addressing of this lengthy complaint, reported here. It is clear that in spite of a poor finish in the Super Tuesday Primary, Congressman Paul has extensive and dedicated support in Oklahoma.

For the record, Ron Paul opposed TARP, Cap & Trade, raising taxes (that’s a lot of “NO” for as long as he has been in Congress), is 100% pro-Life, 100% pro-Gun, 100% pro-Constitution, and I could go on – not to mention his military service and the fact that he has more donors from active military than the rest of the GOP field – all of them, including those who have dropped out – combined. He also predicted the current economic crisis a decade ago, in a very famous speech on the floor of the House of Representatives (here, from April 24th, 2002).

The other candidate is Mitt Romney. He can’t claim any of the above. At least he’s not a communist….

“Let it not be said that no one cared, that no one objected once it’s realized that our liberties and wealth are in jeopardy.” – Ron Paul

Who is to blame? What do we do?

FINALLY, Something Liberals And Conservatives Can Agree On: As long as legislators make deals behind closed doors, can pass laws without having read and understood them or know the ramifications of passing such a law, and can vote on laws without providing advance notice to the citizens, our nation will always be in jeopardy and subject to political whims, pressures and special interests, rather than to the citizens.

Our country is not the nation it once was. We can no longer guarantee the American Dream, and we are no longer a beacon of hope to the rest of the world. America's torch is dimming.

There are many things to blame. We could hold the political parties responsible. After all, their sole criteria in endorsing a candidate is whether that candidate has the resources to win and whether that candidate will vote party line and be a team player.

Voting one's conscience, performing a due diligence and thinking for oneself are nowhere on the list of criteria when a political party endorses a candidate.

We can blame it on declining educational standards, too much TV, lack of moral and religious conviction or a lack of family values as a basis from which all other values are derived. Another factor is that technology is advancing so quickly that our cultures haven’t been able to keep pace. There is no shortage of factors.

As one looks across our nation, one can see worthy causes, people and organizations trying to resolve America's issues and bring us back to our true glory. However, it appears that these well-intended causes are being hampered.
If we look back in history as far back as the Roman Empire, Greece and even Babylon, a common denominator is evident: corruption at the highest levels of government has been at the root of the implosions of every great nation or empire. Self-serving, uncaring individuals gradually or quickly took more and more control, and began making decrees not for the good of all, but for the good of a few, thereby punishing and wrecking the lives of the many, destroying both personal liberty and initiative.

If we further examine history, we see a correlation between the rise of a nation or empire and the rise of individual freedoms and liberties. The Magna Charta and its many earlier and later versions are governmental and humanitarian milestones that have consistently resulted in the birth or growth of a nation. The US Constitution and the Bill of Rights are the ultimate example.

As we examine our political process and the laws being passed over the last several decades, it is clear that our Constitution and Bill of Rights have been minimized, invalidated and blatantly ignored. As a result, our nation is succumbing.

How does one turn this around? Or at the very least, how does one slow down this decay so that these great causes, organizations and people can turn our nation around and bring us back to a golden age?

The idea is simple. The task is ambitious. It is Congressional Reform.

To further clarify, our political process has been so corrupted that our politicians on both sides of the party aisle:

    1. Knowingly and openly pass bills that are hundreds or even thousands of pages long which they haven't read, don't understand, haven’t done a due diligence on and have no idea what's in the fine print -- nor do they care.

    2. Bundle bills the way some investment firms bundle securities.

    3. Will change the content of a bill every hour on the hour up to the time of the vote. This is done to such a degree that objectionable clauses are taken out of a bill (or hidden somewhere else in it), in order to get conscientious politicians to vote for it, but then those objectionable clauses are quietly inserted back into the bill just before the vote.

    4. Will declare a politician persona non grata if the politician doesn't back the president or routinely vote party line or for the agenda, thereby forcing the conscientious politician to compromise his or her principles -- if that politician is ever to have any hope of getting party support and accomplishing his or her goals. Once compromised, that politician is rarely of any further honorable use. Gone are voting one's conscience, thinking for oneself and representing the constituents. Gone is the ability to affect change, because as soon as a politician "plays ball," that politician has been compromised.

As long as Congress can add hundreds of pages to a bill in the middle of the night and pass it the next morning, our country will always be in trouble. So long as this is permitted, everything we hold dear -- and anything we want to protect -- about America is in danger each minute Congress is in session. Because lawmaking has degraded to a level such as this, self-serving special interests have had little difficulty in hijacking our government.

Simple fundamentals have been lost in the governmental process (and this is common to all great nations and empires that have imploded):

    1. A primary reason to pass a law is to solve a problem. But in order to solve the problem, one must have a thorough understanding of it. One must actually look at and examine the problem. This simple fundamental applies to all aspects of life, including the settling of arguments, and the operation of government is no exception. This begs the question to our politicians: "How can you be sure the bill you haven’t read is going to solve the problem you haven’t looked at?"

    2. Did you know that it is not uncommon for the House and Senate to pass a bill, and for the president to sign it into law, all in a single day? If politicians are going to pass laws for the good of all, shouldn’t the people be able to see the final version of the bill well in advance of the vote? "You do what we tell you to do. We don’t want your input." Isn't that what dictators do? Most bills passed by Congress are implemented months or even years later. There is no reason Congress can’t provide the people with the finished version of the bill 30 days before the final vote. They should be proud to do so.

To ensure that a bill is realistic, is as good as it can possibly be, and doesn't favor the few to the detriment of the many, the bill must be made available to the public, so that we can not only provide thoughtful input, but can also protect ourselves from poorly thought out bills and from self-serving special interests trying to hijack the political process.

    3. Bundling bills is a perfect method by which vested interests are able to take control. A politician puts together a brilliant bill for the good of all, but then all sorts of other unrelated and often harmful clauses and/or bills are added to it. What is the politician to do? Vote "no" because this bundled bill is clearly subpar, or vote "yes" because this one decent aspect of the bill might not ever get a second chance?
    4. History shows us that politicians primarily operate off of the honor system. As time passes, the honor system becomes less and less heeded. In our government the "honor system" is to some degree contained in the House and Senate rules. It is the honor system because these are merely rules and are often ignored, especially the rules concerning due diligences, personal profit, and integrity. This lack of concrete rules, under threat of job loss or jail time, is a fundamental cause of failed governments.

Imagine if we took all law enforcement in any state and told them that there were no concrete rules, laws or guidelines that they had to follow, that they could now operate solely off of the "honor system." Thugs, murderers and thieves would line up at the police academy. After all, what criminal wouldn't love the freedom to pimp out women and sell their drugs under the protection of the badge, in the comfort of their police cars all while getting a policeman's salary?

Crime would skyrocket in that state and nowhere would the crime per capita be higher than in law enforcement itself.

What would happen if we wiped out all of the regulations that our military had to follow? It would result in a chaotic and worthless military.

The "Honor System" is NEVER enough when it comes to politicians.

It is the structure provided to law enforcement and the military that makes it possible for decent people to want to join and selflessly serve for the good of all. It is this structure that reduces the number of thugs and self-serving people from joining.
Every aspect of life, in order for it be successful, needs structure -- concrete rules, guidelines and laws.

And, that brings us right back to Congress. Where are all of the laws, rules and regulations that they have to follow under threat of job loss or jail time?

If we want more honest people running for office, we need to create an environment where more honest, hard-working people will want to run for office -- an environment where thugs are less inclined to vie for the position.

With a single swipe of a pen, Congress can do massive and almost irreparable harm. Therefore, simple laws (not "house rules") need to be implemented which our members of Congress MUST follow.

In order for America to be the great nation it once was -- to be that beacon of hope for the rest of the world to aspire to, to continue to guarantee the American dream -- in order for worthy people, causes and organizations to be able to bring us back to our golden age and glory, we must put our government leaders in check.

A good step in that direction would be implementing simple laws which allow for the following:

    A. No vote should count until the final, final version of that bill or allocation of funds has been made broadly available to the public for at least 30 days before the vote.

    B. One subject per bill. To make sure legislators aren’t forced to vote in favor of poorly thought out bills, NO more bundling. A bill should stand on its merit alone.

    C. To make sure the bill solves the problem, no vote shall count on a bill where a 100% accurate statement of the problem isn’t included in the bill.

    D. No more deals behind closed doors.

    E. Currently members of Congress can't be recalled, thus are free to do whatever they want. To increase accountability, we should be able to recall members of Congress who are clearly violating their oath and/or voting against the wishes of the majority of their constituents.

    F. No Congresspersons' vote shall be valid on anything for which they, their friends or their associates stand to profit.

    G. No member of Congress should be allowed to vote in favor of a bill which he/she hasn't personally read, understood to the best of his/her ability, and also performed a due diligence on.

    H. Set up an effective ethics system (one with teeth), which also protects and rewards decent people when they report illegal and unethical activities in the Halls of Congress and government.

With a structure like this in place, American citizens would once again be listened to. With the environment created by these and other common sense reform laws, a much higher percentage of the people running for office would be the hard-working, honest, selfless type -- as is the case with law enforcement and the military. With simple reforms like these, we can see whose fingers are in the pie, and we can take action -- before the fact, not after the damage has already been done.

To recap, our constitution allows 535 people to make laws we have to live by, which in a representative government is acceptable. But these 535 people are currently passing laws they don’t understand which are supposed to solve problems they haven’t examined. To make matters worse, Congress does not solicit and often times ignores our input when making these decrees. We have to wait until after the laws are passed to find out what we are now subject to. Isn’t this more of a dictatorship than anything else?

Explain this procedure to a ten year old, and that child will look at you in disbelief.

It is time for Americans to once again stand side by side to defend America, but this time from an unchecked political procedure which is obviously idiotic.

Improvements come about through change of public opinion and attitudes which solidify into customs and social values -- and then into votes.

Women's right to vote and the Civil Rights Act are perfect examples. Politicians didn't pass these laws because they were the right thing to do. Otherwise, they would have fixed these injustices a long time earlier. Simply put, they did it because we as a people had enough of these inequities, and we made it clear that these were unacceptable.

Recently, the SOPA and PIPA bills were well on their way to being passed in both the House and the Senate. These bills would have made it possible for our government to shut down websites (personal and business) on suspicion alone and without a trial. Millions of us banded together and opposed these bills. As a result, Congress dropped them like hot potatoes.

Congress complies when we unite and DEMAND it.

Only with reform will America overcome its current crises and rise to even greater heights.

Let’s band together to demand Congressional reform.

If not for ourselves, let's do it for our children and grandchildren. Furthermore, it is time for us to sacrifice our time and effort for the millions of people we’ll never know, so that they have chances and opportunities we never had. This is what heroes do.

There are too many countries where oppression still reigns supreme that are counting on us to set the example. After all, that is the American way.

Please go to: www.demandcongressionalreform.com and sign our petition. And, be sure to join us July 17th, as we converge on Capitol Hill to demand Congressional Reform.

How to shut down ANY detractor of the Ron Paul delegate strategy - In 1976 Reagan Did It

Submitted by joeinmo on Thu, 05/10/2012 - 22:01
in 1976, Reagan's "Silent Majority" shocked the world by nearly beating a sitting President Gerald Ford.

The strategy was to win delegates on the state level, take over State Party Organizations, and fill every committeeman and committee woman slot in the United States - sound familiar?

So the next time you hear or see:

Ron Paul is stealing delegates - Reagan did it.

Ron Paul supporters are taking over Republican State Organizations - Reagan did it.

Ron Paul supporters want to cause mischief - Reagan supporters did

Ron Paul supporters are trying to circumvent the system - Reagan did it

Ron Paul supporters are trying to win through the backdoor delegate process - Reagan did it

Folks it wasn't called the Reagan Revolution for nothing.
