WHAT MAKES AMERICANS GRAVITATE TO RON PAUL?

A Closer look at why most Americans support the Texas statesman, Ron Paul.

The appeal, in part, is the very fact that the Texas congressman endorses Constitutional views that all Americans can relate to – and he is willing to say what others won't… the truth!

“Everything he says and does comes from a place that is outside the usual Washington-centric mentality, and that’s what this country needs,” he says. “We can’t get out of this mess with the same lame thinking that got us where we are [today].” ~ Stu Lewitz

Ron Paul arguably has the most ardent supporters of any GOP candidate. He is most often characterized as holding libertarian views, and that message of self-reliant independence strongly appeals to Americans struggling to emerge from economic hardship.

Dr. Paul’s specific policy positions that appeal to most Americans are, first, his determination to curtail the power of the Federal Reserve; second, his opposition to U.S. involvement in never-ending wars; third, his opposition to the drug war and the imprisonment of nonviolent offenders; and fourth, his opposition to torture, preventive detention of suspects without right to counsel, and curbs on civil liberties in the name of war on terrorism.

Simply put, many Americans are scared, apprehensive, and worried about what the lackluster economy holds for them. They are apprehensive about the messages emanating from the status quo candidates on what should be done. And, American voters are tired of ten years of war and military intervention in causes that are less than crystal clear.

Never has such a strong campaign been denied positive reporting from the media. “We The People” are here for the win, and to remind the mainstream media of that fact. I believe that Americans such as myself will make the difference. If we want to get our country back on track, we need Ron Paul as our President in 2012, that’s why I'm a proud Ron Paul supporter and will be voting for him.

Even if Ron Paul is not elected, he sure did help wake up the youth and get them interested in what is actually happening in America, we need to keep the movement rolling & try to snap as many people out of their zombie state of mind as we can
