'US Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney said Friday that the US "must lead the world in stopping Iran's genocidal regime from obtaining a nuclear weapons capability."
Romney's comments came after Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Friday that Israel is a "tumor" that needs to be wiped out. The Republican presidential candidate reiterated remarks he made in a visit to Jerusalem in July, claiming: "We have seen the horrors of history. We will not stand by. We will not watch them play out again."'

In a riveting interview on CNBC, legendary investor Jim Rogers warned Americans to prepare for "Financial Armageddon," saying he fully expects the economy to implode after the U.S. election.

Rogers, who for years has been an outspoken critic of the Feds policies of "Quantitative Easing," says the world is "drowning in too much debt." He put the blame squarely on U.S. and European governments for abusing their "license to print money." In the U.S. alone, the national debt has surged to nearly $16 trillion, that's more than $50,000 for every American man, woman and child.

"[They] need to stop spending money they don't have," Rogers said. "The solution to too much debt is not more debt... What would make me very excited is if a few people [in the government] went bankrupt..." Rogers added.

"I paid taxes every single year" is how Mitt Romney retorts to Harry Reid's charge that he paid no taxes in some years. As Bloomberg reports, after review of his tax returns over the last decade, Romney always paid at least 13% of his income in taxes. Romney has released his 2010 return, which shows that he paid an effective tax rate of 13.9 percent on more than $21 million in income, most of it from capital gains and dividends.

"The fascination with taxes I’ve paid, I find to be very small-minded compared to the broad issues that we face," Romney told reporters adding that he is "waiting for Harry [Reid] to put up who it was that told him what he says they told him. I don’t believe it for a minute, by the way.”

I am telling you folks, they are trying to exert the NDAA (which means no official "arrest"...just a kidnapping).

The FBI and the Secret Service and the Chesterfield County offer answers:
"No arrests were made." Said the Secret Service.

"The FBI did not arrest him. We just went to interview him." [But declined to comment further]. Said the FBI

"We just aided transport to the hospital." Said the Chesterfield County police.

Brandon Raub has been detained AGAINST HIS WILL in a Petersburg psych hospital. He has not been "arrested."

Just kidnapped. Abducted.

They used this tactic in every despotic regime on the planet. And it is one of the 10 steps to the closing down of a society in Naomi Wolf's masterpiece The End of America.

IRONIC huh, that they would pick Virginia, on whose soil was the FIRST in the nation to sign into state LAW that the Kidnapping Provisions of the NDAA were illegal and unconstitutional, and that Virginia officials were NOT TO COOPERATE with the Feds when they came a-knocking.

If the NDAA has been used--and it appears that it has been--then after Federal Judge Kathleen Forrest's providing injunctive relief against the unconstitutional NDAA Sections 1021 and 1022, declaring them essentially illegal, then the US Government and the FBI and the Secret Service, are in criminal contempt of court.

And the Chesterfield County Police have broken newly-minted state law...which forbids state officials from cooperating with the Feds under the NDAA.

Wow. This is all playing out like a movie and liberty minded people across this nation...need to WAKE THE HELL UP!

Attorney Statement on Brandon Raub; Raub to Be Detained Indefinitely

CHESTERFIELD, VA— The Rutherford Institute has come to the defense of a former Marine, 26-year-old Brandon Raub, who was arrested, detained indefinitely in a psych ward and forced to undergo psychological evaluations based solely on the controversial nature of lines from song lyrics, political messages and virtual card games which he posted to his private Facebook page. Although the FBI and Chesterfield County police have not charged Brandon Raub, a resident of Chesterfield County, Va., with committing any crime, they arrested Raub on Thursday, August 16, 2012, and transported him to John Randolph Medical Center, where he was held against his will due to alleged concerns that his Facebook posts were controversial and “terrorist in nature.”

In a hearing held at the hospital, government officials disregarded Raub’s explanation that the Facebook posts were being interpreted out of context, sentencing him up to 30 days’ further confinement in a VA psych ward. In coming to Raub’s defense, Rutherford Institute attorneys are challenging Raub’s arrest and forcible detention, as well as the government’s overt Facebook surveillance and violation of Raub’s First Amendment rights.

“For government officials to not only arrest Brandon Raub for doing nothing more than exercising his First Amendment rights but to actually force him to undergo psychological evaluations and detain him against his will goes against every constitutional principle this country was founded upon. This should be a wake-up call to Americans that the police state is here,” said John W. Whitehead, president of The Rutherford Institute.

“Brandon Raub is no different from the majority of Americans who use their private Facebook pages to post a variety of content, ranging from song lyrics and political hyperbole to trash talking their neighbors, friends and government leaders.”

Brandon Raub, a former Marine who has served tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, was detained by FBI agents and police officers at his home in Chesterfield County based upon the nature of content posted to his Facebook page in recent months. Like many Facebook users, Raub uses his Facebook page to post songs lyrics and air his political opinions, as well as engage in virtual online games with other users.

On Thursday, August 16, police and FBI agents arrived at Raub’s home, asking to speak with him about his Facebook posts. They did not provide Raub with a search warrant. Raub was cooperative and agreed to speak with them. Without providing any explanation, levying any charges against Raub or reading him his rights, law enforcement officials then handcuffed Raub and transported him first to the police headquarters, then to John Randolph Medical Center, where he was held against his will.

Outraged onlookers filmed the arrest and posted the footage to YouTube. Law enforcement officials have stated in press reports that Raub was not arrested. However, as attorney John Whitehead points out, if the police have put handcuffs on you and you’re being held against your will, that qualifies as an arrest.

In a hearing before a special justice on August 20, government officials again pointed to Raub’s Facebook posts as the sole reason for their concern and for his continued incarceration. Ignoring Raub’s explanations about the fact that the Facebook posts were being read out of context and his attorney’s First Amendment defense, the special justice agreed that Raub should be incarcerated at a VA hospital for up to 30 more days.

Rutherford Institute attorneys are working to challenge Raub’s detention and the highly unconstitutional nature of the government’s actions.

Dear Lord, I say thank you for your patience and long suffering toward us. As a nation and a people we do not deserve this last chance. We ask for your forgiveness for sins committed knowingly and unknowingly. We ask for wisdom and the spirit to repent. I turn away from what is evil and do what is good in your sight. I ask to do all for the your glory and not for myself. We do not deserve your mercy and loving kindness. We have failed you in many ways when there was opportunity. We thank you for sending your son to die in our place paying the penalty for our sins to satisfy your justice. We all do not deserve your forgiveness and mercy.

We bring our nation before you. The enemy to your kingdom is coming in like a flood trying to bring us down with our borders not secure and starting wars of imperialism. The money changers steal our wealth, they have withheld the true wages of our labors. Our freedom you gave us is slipping away.

We have people in high places that hate your creation and seek to deprive us the right to grow our own food and to collect water from the rain you send us. We have people trying to destroy your creation through GMO foods. We are a nation in a moral crisis. A nation by your hand was founded. Our founders relied on your divine providence appealing to you the supreme judge of the world to create a nation for your glory.

This August 27, 2012, the Republican convention will meet to nominate a candidate to go against President Barrack Obama. There is a group of people who want to bring forward Mitt Romney, he is a man like Barrack Obama who is in reproach.

They have stood for the killing of the unborn children and celebrating decadence and all that is not of you. They are the agents of the moneychangers who rob the substance of the common man through the crime of usury and unfair weights and measures. They have colluded with the robber barons in the theft of basic human dignity seeking to break our will by every evil tactic possible by deception and duress.

They deprived the people of their vote. They no longer respect the rule of law. They have become lawless governing with no law restraining them.They no longer follow their own rules. They deny justice for the widow and the fatherless dragging them into courts without basic due process without an advocate for a vigorous defense. They are sexual deviants and pedophiles who offends the most innocent and defenseless. They are the eugenicist that seek to murder the sick and handicapped who have no voice. The are the predators who seek to kill and destroy all that is good and righteous in your sight. Please hear my prayer.

You said you place before us life in Death. I am not asking you to make Ron Paul the next President of the United States. I am asking for your intervention at the RNC convention in Tampa Florida to nominate your servant Ron Paul as the candidate so America has a clear choice this November. You give us all free will to follow your laws and ordinances or to serve evil. I ask for your intervention so America does not have a false choice where the unrighteous is manipulating the free will of the American people were the choice either way leads to destruction. I pray America has a clear choice after this August convention then a globalist puppet show where Robber Barons pull the strings denying people of a real candidate who is above reproach.

I ask you Lord who reigns supreme above all nations that transcends above all to intervene. I am not asking you to make Ron Paul president. I am just asking you show America a clear choice to choose between liberty or Tyranny. If we choose bondage, let your judgement fall on us, if we choose liberty, please give us a reprieve like the city of Nineveh from judgement.

I ask that you send confusion and division in the ranks of the RNC leadership and to the security forces ordered to terrorize the people. Send dissension in the enemy’s camp. Send division and confusion to the ruling elite where they war with each other to the point they lose control of the nations. Send confusion into the RNC convention leadership they fight amongst each other so they lose their position and control. Send confusion to the unrighteous and corrupt in power working against Ron Paul and your servants. Let the enemies of liberty destroy themselves trying to destroy us as the Pharaoh of Egypt who ordered the first born of the Hebrews killed, the king’s words brought the curse back on Egypt killing their first born instead. Let their own words of destruction against us be their own demise.

We ask all that is whispered in the ear and behind closed doors be proclaimed on the roof tops. We pray the works of darkness be exposed. We know this is not a battle of flesh and blood, but a battle of the heavens. We pray that all the corrupt strongholds at the RNC convention be torn down by the mighty weapons of prayer and your word. We pray all our thoughts will be brought into captivity in obedience of Christ Jesus. Let no weapon formed against Ron Paul prosper. Le the enemies of Ron Paul be under the congressman’s feet.

We ask for your protection over Ron Paul and his family with your angels. Give him the courage and that he places his trust in you that no matter what threats may happen, let him trust in you as his fortress in a time of need and that you have his family’s back and his. The you our creator is much bigger then the wickedness in high places.

I ask for your intervention at the RNC convention, not to ask you to make Ron Paul the next President of the United States. I am asking America have once last chance before we face your judgement to have a clear choice about what direction we shall go as a nation. Shall we be in chains in bondage or shall we have liberty. Let America again be the shining light and a beacon of liberty again for the world to look to once again.

I thank you for hearing my prayer. Let your will be done, not mine. In the name of the Father who is heaven. the Son of God Jesus who sits at the right hand of the father making his enemies a footstool under his feet and the Holy Spirit that moves in the hearts of the people. Amen!
