URGENT: It Appears Ben Swann Needs Our Help

It has become very clear over the past few days that something has happened with Ben Swann. All of his Reality Check videos have been taken down from YouTube. I don't think it takes much of an imagination to reach the likely conclusion he is being shut down. I could be wrong but that's what appears to be happening.

This is the same guy that actually asked Obama and Romney some very tough questions recently and those vids went big-time viral. In addition to this, Mr. Swann has made well over 100 videos that covered important political topics. Many of us have shared his videos and have felt very proud to have him be part of our Liberty movement.

We need to fight what appears to be fire......with fire.

In order to keep getting this great content from Mr. Swann, my gut tells me he may need to change platforms (ie. a new TV station). In particular, I think seeing him with a national TV show would be wonderful for the Liberty movement. As I've been in this business for over 15 years, the one thing that will matter is numbers - BIG NUMBERS. Ben presently has almost 50,000 fans on Facebook. If we can get him to 150,000 fans by December 31, 2012, he will have surpassed Piers Morgan, John Stossel and several other MSM hosts. With those kinds of numbers, it would be tough to deny the appeal of Mr. Swann.

State Sovereignty, Nullification: Ron Paul for Governor of Texas

I wish every state had a Ron Paul but right now he belongs to Texas. Texas may or may not inherently be the best place to stage a state-sovereignty movement but, again, we have Ron Paul.

I believe we have all but proven that returning our nation to constitutionality through the electoral process, as we now know it, particularly through a national focus, is extremely doubtful if not impossible. To me it seems that, in addition to dominant special interests such as the banking industry and those who would be orchestrators of our economy and the state itself, the people themselves have no stomach for liberty. It might best be understood that until the people hunger for liberty more than the entitlements of the state nothing will change.

Given that, it might be our only recourse to focus our redoubt on local liberty education and defenses, namely nullification.

To accomplish this it is critical to have state legislators in place who possess the mentality and resolve that it is their call to stand between the citizens of our state and tyranny, a liberty/state sovereignty/nullification caucus, if you will. A significant step to solidifying this could be electing a high profile governor who also possesses such a resolve, a governor who would draw like minds to this cause in the legislature, a governor who could even draw like minds into the populace itself from other states. Ron Paul, as governor, would, without doubt, do this.

I understand this is not a new idea. Many are thinking these same things.

Where can we go with this? Nullification is our best recourse. Without it I am afraid we face oppression, very serious oppression.

Ron Paul is the bellwether of freedom.

What say you? Can we? Shall we? Can we keep this conversation going?

During the presidential debates and on the campaign trail, former Governor Mitt Romney has focused many of his attacks on China. Accusing them of "manipulating their currency" to gain and unfair trade advantage against the U.S., Romney has promised to isolate China on his first day in his office in part of a broader hawkish policy towards China. But not only is Romney wrong to demonize China, he completely ignores the real currency manipulators: the U.S. Federal Reserve.

In classic politician doublespeak, Romney's accusations against China are a few truths mixed in with a lot of lies, pandering and propaganda. While it is true that China has been keeping the value of its currency artificially low over the last decade, this has been largely in response to the U.S. doing essentially the exact same thing for four decades now.

Since 1971 when President Nixon infamously defaulted and cut all gold ties from the dollar, the U.S. government and the Federal Reserve have been printing trillions of dollars as part of a deliberate strategy to boost U.S. exports and harm nations exporting goods to the U.S. China holds hundreds of billions worth of U.S. government bonds of debt and has been repaying its creditors, like China, with increasingly devalued dollars.

JUSTIFYING THE LESSER OF TWO EVILS IS AN ABOMINATION

Many evangelicals are self-professing conservatives who routinely vote Republican. Sure, the Republican Party has the rich old white guys with deep pockets who finance campaigns, but without evangelical voters, the Republican Party would go the way of the Whigs. Unfortunately, many evangelicals compromise and vote for the Republican regardless of how bad the nominee is. The Bible says these compromising conservative evangelicals are an abomination to the Lord.

“He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just, even they both are abomination to the LORD.” -Proverbs 17:15Romney supports the NDAA which allows for indefinite detention of American citizens. He’s a warmonger. He is the worst kind of draft dodger. He picketed for the draft at 19, but used his religion as an excuse not to serve. None of his sons served either, but he will send your sons and daughters to die.

1 “Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees, and that write grievousness which they have prescribed; 2 To turn aside the needy from judgment, and to take away the right from the poor of my people, that widows may be their prey, and that they may rob the fatherless! 3 And what will ye do in the day of visitation, and in the desolation which shall come from far? To whom will ye flee for help? And where will ye leave your glory? 4 Without me they shall bow down under the prisoners, and they shall fall under the slain.” -Isaiah 10:1-4

His Presidential campaign appears to have paid someone to commit fraud for the purpose of stopping Ron Paul from winning delegates. He thinks Ben Bernanke is doing a good job, wants to keep the Federal Reserve, and supports crony corporate bailouts.

He’s a pathological liar. He’s the worst flip-flopper I’ve ever seen. Most candidates wait until they are elected to change their positions. Mitt Romney changes his positions while still running for office, sometimes the next day. Romney can’t even remain consistent on the campaign trail.

“A lying tongue hateth those that are afflicted by it; and a flattering mouth worketh ruin.” -Proverbs 26:28

He’s the lesser of two evils, so compromising conservatives say. That’s not an easy case to make if you examine Romney’s record; but it’s not one that Christians should be making. The Bible doesn’t tell you to choose between the lesser of two evils.“Abstain from all appearance of evil.” -1 Thessalonians 5:22

Evangelical conservatives act as though it’s part of their religious tenets to vote Republican, no matter how much evil the candidate spews; but there is no 11th Commandment of Thou Shalt Vote Republican.

"The fear of the LORD is to hate evil; Pride and arrogance and the evil way And the perverted mouth, I hate.” -Proverbs 8:13South Carolinian conservatives, in the Bible belt, booed Congressman Ron Paul for suggesting that the U.S. should adopt the golden rule in its foreign policy. Torture and endless wars isn’t exactly what Jesus taugh. This condemnation of a just man like Ron Paul is abomination to the LORD.

Business experience is supposed to be one of Romney’s virtues according to conservatives, but they’re ignoring the fact that he’s consumed by greed and the lust for power. No matter how much he earns, it’s not enough and now he wants the White House. It’s no wonder why Jesus said in Mark 10:24, “It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.”

The mantra of evangelicals for years has been God, guns, gays and genocide, with genocide referring to abortion. Romney conveniently became pro-life when running for an office where people outside the liberal State of Massachusetts can vote; typical Mitt-flipping fashion. Romney was a big supporter of homosexuals until he needed votes outside Massachusetts. Romney was for strict gun regulations when Governor of Massachusetts, but that changed when votes were needed outside of Massachusetts. He even told some whoppers about himself to try to convince people he was sincere. Romney professes the Mormon faith, and did a mission trip while dodging the draft, but keep in mind what Jesus said about rich men entering the Kingdom of heaven. Romney falls flat on the 4G’s conservative mantra.

Mormonism was listed as a cult on the Billy Graham Evangelical Association website, but that was removed just in time to elect a Mormon Republican. Apparently voting for someone you believe belongs to a cult is OK so long as the candidate is a Republican.

Franklin Graham wrote on the Associations website, “I pray that all Christians and God-fearing Americans will put aside labels and vote for principles—God’s principles—that for many years have resulted in His blessing upon our nation. So, can a Christian vote for a Mormon? The answer is yes.”

On the gay issue, the Bible does condemn men having sex with each other.

“If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination.” -Leviticus 20:13

The Bible calls homosexual sex an abomination; like it calls justifying the wicked an abomination. Why do self-professing Christian conservatives rail against one and justify the other?

Frankly, if the Republican Party tried to find a candidate to play conservatives for fools any more than Willard Mitt Romney, the establishment would really have to look long and hard. Compromising conservatives who are making excuses for Mitt Romney had better think twice about what they’re doing.
