Sanctuary Cities Feel 'Pain' of Illegal Immigration

Self-proclaimed sanctuary cities continue to struggle to find space for all the illegal aliens being bused from Texas, with Los Angeles now considering a lawsuit against the Lone Star State, while New York officials bicker over who's going to pay for them all.


New York City is using the famed Roosevelt Hotel as a temporary shelter, while Chicago repurposes its police stations. Meanwhile, suburban areas continue to push back against efforts to house illegals in their cities.


"They're feeling the pain in New York, Chicago and L.A., and they're looking at the situation and trying to fight back," says William Gheen, founder of the Americans for Legal Immigration PAC.


"We saw the videos of the flag burning and desecrations in New York. We've got reports of people who live in black communities in Chicago who are being threatened in their driveways. They can't even get their cars in their driveway because the illegals are stacked up."


Protests have erupted on both New York's Staten Island and Long Island over the issue. Gheen sees an opportunity for Republicans moving forward.


"I think there's a lot more congressional seats around major cities across America that could shock the Democrats, because people don't want what the Democrats are doing with immigration."
