Enterprise police continue to investigate a motorcycle crash that left a local couple dead Saturday night.
eremy Daniel Seay, 20, and Ann Marie Miller Seay, 19, were killed in an accident on Highway 51 before 10 p.m. Saturday. Enterprise Police Capt. Mike Lolley said the couple were found lying in the roadway by a passing motorist who called police. Jeremy Seay died on the scene. Ann Seay died around 2 a.m. at Medical Center Enterprise.
Lolley said that at this time it does not appear that the motorcycle was struck by another vehicle. Lolley said the motorcycle is intact, and has little damage other than a few scuff marks. Traffic scene investigators are continuing to investigate that crash to determine its cause.
Lolley said there was no cause to believe the Seays had been drinking, but an autopsy is being conducted.

A Daleville man faces felony charges in connection to the death of a Wiregrass couple in a traffic fatality earlier this month.
Enterprise Police Capt. Mike Lolley said investigators arrested Freddy De Leon Perez, 23, and charged him with two counts of manslaughter and duty to stop and remain at the scene in connection to the deaths of Jeremy and Angel Seay.
Lolley said Jeremy, 20, and Angel Seay, 19, who were recently married in April, traveled together on a motorcycle when Perez pulled out in front of them in the pickup truck he was driving on Saturday June 13.

Bond set at $1.2 million for Perez
Bond set at $1.2 million for Perez

Published: June 24, 2009
Bond was set at $1.2 million for an illegal immigrant charged with three felony counts in connection with the deaths of an Enterprise couple June 13.
Freddy DeLeon Perez, 23, stood silent, handcuffed and shackled as District Judge Paul Sherling cited flight risk as part of the reason for doubling the bond recommended by the prosecutor.
Perez was arrested 10 days after the motorcycle accident that claimed the lives of newlyweds Angel and Jeremy Seay. The young couple was buried two months to the day they were wed. Both had been attending Enterprise-Ozark Community College.
At Wednesday’s initial court appearance for Perez, 12th Judicial Circuit Assistant District Attorney Tom Anderson called Perez a “flight risk and a risk to the public,â€Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

He doesn't know where he lives, and is eligible for a court appointed (aka paid by tax payers) lawyer, which kind of sounds like he's claiming he is homeless and jobless, yet he did have the cash to get his pickup truck fixed immediately after the accident, which kind of sounds like he was trying to hide evidence.
He's probably making decent money, and most likely is claiming he doesn't even work. Why don't these judges ask how he paid for the truck, how he pays for his clothes, his beer, his food, gas for driving, money to fix his lethal weapon truck, etc? He needs money for a lawyer? He should be forced to sell the truck once it's fixed up, and buy a lawyer for whatever he can get from the sale. If he ends up with a crappy lawyer because he only has a couple thousand to pay, oh well.
EDIT* I see he also had the cash to pay for his little hairdo, complete with light brown streaks. If he's living off family members and not working, I doubt they would pay for his hair dye.

I'd bet he didn't give an address because he probably shared a 'home' with 19 other IAs.

This is SO Arizona. Unfortunately, he will land in a jail where they will take better care of him than if he was living at home or in Mexico.
I say send him to Sheriff Joe to put in Tent City. Let him eat left over food and suffer the 115 degree desert summer.

Recently another state had almost the same thing happen and it was basically swept under the rug.
I can't remember the circumstances, it wasn't the policeman one....If Palestine puts down their guns, there will be peace.
If Israel puts down their guns there will be no more Israel.

What is so sad here is that the couple were SO YOUNG and recenetly MARRIED! Just ready to start LIFE TOGETHER!
He does have a cute little hair-do doesn't he? I would imagine the guys in prison will like that!
The thing about ICE and deporting this guy or many others like him,is the very simple fact that they have already committed a terrible crime. Kind of late to enforce our laws and get rid of him now &%*&"When you have knowledge, you have a responsibility to do better"_ Paula Johnson
