Misdemeanor charges have been filed against the San Jose driver who ran over and killed a sixth-grader riding her bike home on the last day of school.

Adriana Fierro De Marin is scheduled to be arraigned today in Santa Clara County Superior Court on one count of vehicular manslaughter and one count of driving while unlicensed, charges that carry a maximum one year in county jail and $1,000 fine.
