While his mother served in Iraq, Jamiel was gunned down by gang members. His parents are now fighting for the passage of Jamiel's Law. Please take a moment to contact L.A. City Council no matter where you are from. Gang members are in every city across America and everyone will benefit from deportation of known gang cowards.

Jamiel Shaw was gunned down by gang members last week, and will be laid to rest Tuesday.


The parents of Jamiel Shaw, a high school football star who was killed by an alleged gang member last month, will urge the Los Angeles City Council to approve Jamiel's Law, which would allow the LAPD to crack down on gang members who are in the country illegally.

That's right the family is meeting down at City Hall today. I forgot with all this Absolut stuff.

I can't believe a special bill has to be passed in order for our police to do their jobs. They had this guy in jail already when they could have deported his a#s right then...but instead they let him out on the streets of America and one day later he killed someone. Seems like the idiots that let this guy out could be sued for something...reckless endangerment... negligent homicide... something. I know that may sound silly, but they knew the guy was dangerous and they put him in the path of an innocent American. Can't they be held accountable in some way for that????

I agree but I think its to make a point. They are there with their faces in the faces of the council and making them responsible. You face parents who you've allowed their kids to be killed because you are so lazy or want cheap labor then look into their eyes.

I read about Jamiel's story yesterday and my heart aches for his family. Jamiel was a law abiding American teenager who was murdered by illegal who had no regard for others and I'm digusted that there are many dangerous illegals in sanctuary cities who are threats to lives of innocent Americans.

Please read and add your comments. I posted the long post about Ted Hayes and am now being attacked by one poster named, Jack, who claims the WHITE man is the one who is the root of the reason why Latinos are killing blacks.

The elements of this tragedy encompass so many issues... A mother serving in Iraq learns her son has been killed by violence at home. A loving family. A father rushes to find his son dead. A younger brother. And an illegal alien gang banger let out of jail only to commit this crime the next day.

Something positive must come out of this.

I watched the funeral video on CNN for Jamiel. Just heartbreaking, the pain these parents are going through is unbelievable. NO more mothers and fathers must go through this. The LA mayor was at the funeral by the way...
