    BLACKFOOT, Idaho — A 21-year-old Blackfoot man has been charged with involuntary manslaughter in 7th District Court after his four-month-old son died.

    Ricardo Lopez-Santillan, who authorities say is an undocumented immigrant, remains in Bingham County Jail.

    Lopez-Santillan was apparently living with the baby's mother at a home in Blackfoot when the baby suffered severe brain damage.

    Authorities say the baby suffered from shaken baby syndrome and died after being flown by helicopter to Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City.

    Lopez-Santillian faces a preliminary court hearing in early January.

    The real title should read: Illegal alien charged in shaken baby case. IMO he should get the death penalty.
