Illegal Immigrant Guilty Of DUI Death

An illegal immigrant could spend the rest of his life behind bars for the drunk driving crash that killed a Chesterfield woman. Alberto Candino Bamaca plead guilty on Monday to involuntary manslaughter, felony hit and run and driving under the influence. The 39 year old was drunk when he drove into the parking lot of a convenience store in the 6500 block of Jeff Davis Highway back on August 2nd. He hit 53-year-old Carol Cooper, pinning her between his van and the side of the building. She died on the scene. Bamaca is a Guatemalan who was in the country illegally at the time of the accident. He'll be sentenced in April.

If we had kept him out in the first place this woman would still be live. Now we will have to pay for him to be incarcerated.

Border protection would reduce the number of drunk drivers.
