Due to many factors, including the bad economy and shifting interests, over 40 smaller groups and organizations in our coalition have folded in the the last year.

Today, we say farewell to ALIPAC's ally known as the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps headed up by Chris Simcox and Carmen Mercer. Citing a lack of adequate funding, the group has sent out a national release announcing their permanent closure.

This leaves ALIPAC as the only major national group formed since 2004 to still be in operation.

We need a very strong response to THIS EMAIL request to make sure ALIPAC does not join the growing organizational casualty list.

We only have SIX DAYS LEFT to raise almost $11,000. Should we fail to reach our minimum operations budget, we will use your donations to keep the main site operational as long as possible during a phased out shutdown.

We must remind you all that ALIPAC is the largest archive of information in existence about illegal immigration, and we have played a key role in the defeat of Amnesty legislation in 2006 and 2007.

An ALIPAC shutdown would deprive the American public of over half of the information about illegal immigration that is currently on the Internet.

An ALIPAC shutdown would send you up against the new push for Amnesty in Washington, without one of your key players that defeated them in 2006 and 2007.

The current average contribution per ALIPAC supporter receiving this e-mail is only 0.70 per person for 2010. That level must exceed $1 per person withing six days to keep ALIPAC in the fight.

CORNYN BACKS AWAY FROM OBAMA's AMNESTY

As the latest display of proof of your activism power and ALIPAC's strategies, we are pleased to announce that Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) is backtracking on his flirtations with Amnesty supporters.

We gathered up the multiple examples proving that Cornyn was in negotiations to support Amnesty.

We alerted you and gave you the phone numbers and message suggestions you needed.

Now Cornyn has publicly turned about face, and the illegal aliens supporters are crying all over the web about how ALIPAC helped pressure him away from their Amnesty negotiations.

I will be sending another contribution later today, as that is a cheap price to pay for not watching this country go down in flames on behalf of mollycoddling illegals and the interests of the rest of the world. I hate to see this country becoming a dump for the poorest and most uneducated that crawl over, under and around our borders daily without permission.
