Thread: ALIPAC Activist Update on the Battle for NC

ALIPAC Activists,

Many of you received an e-mail back from NC Democrat Governor Mike Easley's office that informs you that he is not responsible for the decision to allow illegals into community college and that you should contact the NC Community College System President Martin Lancaster. You can contact Lancaster's office if you like, but this is a diversion and will accomplish very little, if anything at all.

A few of you have gotten upset with us because of this denial you received. Everyone, please keep in mind that when you are fighting our opposition that they will respond in a politically calculated way. Please view ALIPAC's actions in a positive light and do not let the enemy easily dismay or mislead you.

Yes, it is true and easy to see if you read the articles we sent you, that the Community College board made the decision to allow the illegals in. ALIPAC feels this is being done in this way to shield Democrat lawmakers and Democrat candidates from harm for the decision. You can bark at the board members all you want, but they are appointed and have no sense of political fear from, or allegiance to, the voters. That is why the Governor is pointing you in that direction and that is why we are not pointing you in that direction.

Another note we must insert here, ALIPAC has many Democrat supporters, we value your participation and not all Democrats in NC or all Democrat legislators are supporting illegal aliens. However, this Democrat governor and the Democrat leadership who control both our state House and Senate ARE SUPPORTING ILLEGAL ALIENS and every elected state Democrat lawmaker gives them their majority power. Anytime we have to mention Democrats, we get back a flurry of e-mails saying "I'm a Democrat and you should not label all Democrats.... etc. etc." We get that and so does everyone else, but in this case, at this time, all Democrats must take the heat for what the Democrats, which have controlled NC politics for 134 years straight, are doing to support illegal aliens. We hope that everyone understands this and that more time and space will not be needed to address this concern.

THE NC DEMOCRATS MUST FALL!

TO HAVE A CHANCE OF STOPPING ILLEGAL ALIENS FROM ENTERING OUR COLLEGES WE MUST FOCUS ON CONNECTING THE DEMOCRATS ACROSS NC AND THE NATION TO THIS AGENDA.

An important result of your efforts last week is that Democrat Governor Mike Easley has confessed his support (and likely involvement) in the plan to have illegals in our Community Colleges. He originally tried to duck the question, but here he has confessed his position and this ran all across the state this weekend!

This is a huge victory for our side that the Governor's original strategy has been destroyed and now he is awaiting the blow from the public backlash!

Many of you will be compelled to write Mike Easley's office to complain about his stance. Feel free to do that if you have the time, but be advised that we feel your efforts past this point will have little result.

Democrat Governor Mike Easley cannot run for a 3rd term and is not going to be on a ballot anytime soon so he is prepared to take your heat. Community College President, and past Democrat Congressman defeated by Walther Jones (R-NC) will take your heat too.

The answer to this problem is to go after the DEMOCRATS in NC that WILL BE ON THE BALLOT IN 2008!

That is the way we can achieve either A. An immediate reversal of the plan to put illegals in NC Colleges or B. People elected to office in 2008 who will reverse this plan.

I will continue the contacts as well. In regards to emails from Democrats who are upset about illegal immigration and who think a broad brush may be being used, the reality is that almost every state without exception has Democratic lawmakers in the legislatures who vote against almost any and every attempt to do anything to curb or stop illegal immigration. These Democrat voters and citizens need to have a stronger voice to change the thinking and the votes of their Democratic representatives. I challenge any Democrat to do a state by state analysis and say anything different. Many more Democrats need to voice concern and contact their representatives so the votes reflect more of what the near 80% of all Americans believe and want.

We do have some legislatures where there is some sense of cooperation on a few bills between the two parties, but it is few and far between. Citizens, whether Democrat or Republican, must speak up and be heard.

While not a citizen of NC, I thank all those that bombarded my illustrious Governor Spitzer when he thought he could reward illegals with licenses, and we know how that turned out. I have emailed the Governor of NC, and will hopefully get to phone calls this week.....my email, however, is as follows:

Your support for ILLEGAL aliens is unjustified. How dare you think that any sane, tax-paying citizen of your state or of this country, should in any way, support education, healthcare or any cost to someone here ILLEGALLY.

Your blatant disregard for State and Federal law will certainly be remembered by those in North Carolina come Election Day.

We, the majority, want our borders SECURED with a zero tolerance for ANY ILLEGAL aliens, regardless of what country they are from. We, the majority, are FED UP with our tax-dollars going to SUPPORT those here ILLEGALY.

What you should be doing is passing STATE laws that will force ILLEGAL aliens to move out of our state and eventually out of our country!

Let us hope and pray you will be quickly elected out of office as you do not deserve to represent ANY legal citizen of this country
