John Cornyn Supports Amnesty for Millions of Illegals

Americans for Legal Immigration PAC (ALIPAC.us) is issuing the first endorsement of the 2026 election cycle for renowned illegal immigration opponent and Texas Attorney General, Ken Paxton, in his bid to unseat the incumbent Amnesty supporter Senator John Cornyn.

ALIPAC has listed Senator John Cornyn as a supporter of Amnesty for millions of illegal aliens since October of 2014, when it was discovered he promised to support both the Dream Act and Immigration Reform amnesty for millions of illegal aliens during a debate on KUNV 23 Univision. (View Sources)

In June of 2021, Cornyn attacked ALIPAC on Twitter, claiming reports that he was supporting Amnesty were "Fake News" after ALIPAC launched a public pressure campaign against Amnesty (View) in response to John Binder of Breitbart's article titled GOP Senator John Cornyn Negotiating Amnesty Deal for Illegal Aliens with Democrats (View), and a NumbersUSA report from December 2020 indicated Republican Senators Senators Marco Rubio (R-FL), Thom Tillis (R-NC), Susan Collins (R-ME), and John Cornyn (R-TX) met with Democrats at an 'immigration reform' event hosted by the pro-amnesty American Business Immigration Coalition. These are just three of many examples proving Senator John Cornyn supports AMNESTY for illegals!

As recently as 2024, John Cornyn was one of the few Republicans supporting Senator Lankford's Amnesty compromise bill with Democrats that tried to mix military aid for Ukraine with Amnesty for illegals, which collapsed due to massive opposition from Republicans and Trump voters.

By contrast, Ken Paxton has supported enforcement-only measures to deal with illegal immigration and has opposed any form of Amnesty that would further compromise America and Americans with illegal immigration. Ken Paxton has made his support for the existing immigration laws and borders of the United States paramount.

"We gladly endorse an American patriot and border hawk like Ken Paxton for US Senate in the 2026 GOP Primary in Texas, and we ask our national network to do all they can to help Paxton unseat the corrupt and dishonest illegal alien Amnesty supporting RINO Senator John Cornyn," said William Gheen, spokesman for ALIPAC. "ALIPAC has fought hard to successfully stop nation-destroying Amnesty plots in DC backed by Cornyn, since 2004, that would make any future Republican Presidencies like Trump's numerically impossible due to the millions of invasion voters Democrats would gain from Amnesty."
