Friends of ALIPAC,

We are very pleased to report that ALIPAC's rapidly assembled protest of Rick Perry and his current promotion of in-state tuition for illegal immigrants was a huge success!

With only 48 hours notice we were able to assemble around 15 protest attendees coming and going carrying some great signs.

We received a great response from citizens who saw our signs criticizing Rick Perry as many Charlotte motorists honked their horns in support.

We achieved a massive amount of media coverage and secured our objective to use Rick Perry's event to warn more voters about his unpopular stances supporting illegal immigrants.

Our message was broadcast on four North Carolina talk radio interviews, reported in both of the largest newspapers in the state and telecast on four different television news agencies out of Charlotte, NC.

One news report of our event, posted on the alipac.us homepage at this time, ran nationwide!

While Rick Perry was able to gather about 100 people at his Charlotte event donating $1,000 to $2,500 each all of his news coverage was about this scandal, our presence, and our message!

Please keep a lookout for Rick Perry events coming near your area and let us know what you see and hear.

Protesting Rick Perry appears to be a very popular thing to do which is well supported and very effective. More protests like ours in NC is what is needed for every Perry campaign event we can detect!

ALIPAC will release a list of future Rick Perry illegal immigration protests this coming Monday. Please be ready to assist if you can.

Thank you to everyone who helped make Thursday's Rick Perry protest a big success which generated a lot of local and national media for our positions and efforts.

Rick Perry should know now that we will not stop until enough people know about his true stances regarding illegal immigration. Only when enough people know, it will become impossible for him to win the GOP nomination or ever become president of the United States.

Sincerely,

William Gheen and The ALIPAC Team
