ALIPAC Launches Historic Immigration Enforcement Campaign NC
ALIPAC Launches Historic Immigration Enforcement Campaign in NC
June 10, 2008
CONTACT: William Gheen, WilliamG@alipac.us, (919) 787-6009
North Carolina citizens are not happy about illegal immigration and the lax state policies, which has made NC a top destination for illegal aliens, and will converge on the General Assembly in Raleigh for a historic activism effort on June 18, 2008.
Citizens will lobby NC Legislators to take immediate action because the recent legislation in South Carolina will send tens of thousands of illegal aliens into North Carolina, which is what happened when Georgia cracked down last year. Recent polls show that illegal immigration is a top concern in North Carolina and a huge majority supports enforcement only solutions.
"We have tens of thousands of illegal aliens who will be attempting to migrate from SC to NC over the next few months," said William Gheen of ALIPAC. "We need NC lawmakers to pass immigration enforcement legislation immediately to join the over 20 states that have already done so in 2008."
Citizens from across NC and the nation will contact lawmakers by phone, fax, e-mail, and in person. They will be asking NC lawmakers to pass legislation that will cut off taxpayer resources from illegal aliens, encourage NC businesses to use the E-Verify system, provide more funding for local police to train for immigration enforcement, as well as, defund the La Raza front group called El Pueblo.
"We need to make sure that the Luebke and Harrison bill to force community colleges to accept illegal aliens dies this year.", said William Gheen. "We also need to cut off the half a million dollars in taxes currently going to El Pueblo because El Pueblo is actively lobbying for benefits for illegal aliens in our state!"
The state of North Carolina currently has no method of accurately ascertaining how many millions or billions of dollars are being drained by illegal immigration, but many states with budget crisis are cracking down.
Lawmakers, talk radio show hosts, and organization leaders will address the crowd during a rally on June 18 near the Legislature. Concerned citizens who represent the 80% of North Carolinians ,who want more enforcement on the state level are encouraged to attend or support this effort from home.
ALIPAC is a multi ethnic, NC based, national organization and hopes to bring in leaders and organizations from other states to assist with this effort. For more information, please visit www.alipac.us

Wow, W.....that is definitely not a good thing, being stuck in the middle of two state crackdowns like that.
I think you have two things going for you this time to make your job a little easier. One, the momentum of Bush's latest Exec. Order, and secondly, that the elected officials in NC have had some time to begin thinking about the negative consequences headed their way if they fail to crackdown now, before it's too late.

Tennessee is another state that has been the recipient of the illegal aliens now leaving the states that have cracked down. Each state needs to mirror their neighbor states or they will be the new destination for countless numbers of new illegal aliens.
I hope that this effort in North Carolina will be successful and we will do our part in support and to get the word out.
Romans 5:8Matthew 19:26
But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
