ALIPAC's position since 2004 is that Congress needs to legislatively clarify that the intention of the 14th Amendment of the Constitution is not to give citizenship to newborns of illegal alien invaders or birthright citizenship tourists from nations hostile to the US, like China. We want to stop birthright citizenship from being exploited by invaders and want it done the right way.

The US Supreme Court recently ruled against the Trump administration's efforts to end Birthright Citizenship and anchor babies via Executive Order by a vote of 6 to 3. Republican sellouts Chief Justice John Roberts, Amy Coney Barrett, and Brett Kavanaugh voted with the four liberal Democrats to uphold birthright citizenship for illegals. Kavanaugh said the problem is that Trump's Executive order does not contradict the 14th Amendment, but does contradict prior legislation by Congress.

To rectify this, freshman Republican Rep. John McGuire (R-VA) has filed a new bill that does not appear to have a number yet, but is called the Birthright Citizenship Clarification Act which aims to "codify President Trump’s executive order seeking to limit birthright citizenship by striking down the jus soli or “right of the soil” legal principle that grants citizenship to anyone born within a nation’s territory."
