Sir:
I am writing to request that the FCC immediately investigate the accuracy of reports that radio station KROM in Texas has broadcast the locations of our Border Patrol agents. Such broadcasts enable illegal aliens to avoid apprehension. If such reports are true, then permanently suspend the broadcast license of KROM in San Antonio and stop its operation immediately.
No radio station must be allowed to violate our laws regarding border security without penalty from your office.
Very interesting. In response to my letter to the FCC I got a message this morning requiring me to accept a 9 minute download on DSL!
I'm debating if this is a legitimate request or something not quite so "kosher."
Any comments?
I didn't get one from the FCC. I had better check my filter. It might be caught there. Will let you know if I DO have one.
My concern is about the fact that this supposed message from the FCC could be a bogus message and the download, although it seems to be coming from Adobe, is actually a virus. See, I have Adobe reader and therefore there should be no reason for them to be sending me a link to download it in order to read whatever the FCC sent? Does that make any sense? I am wondering if other people got a response from the FCC at all.
Several years ago, I wrote to the FCC to ask them why it is that ATT and Sprint were allowed to keep changing my phone service without my permission and what I could do to make them stop it. It took the FCC a full eleven months to answer my letter. That is another part of the reason why I am suspicious.
I just checked my filter and did NOT have any response from the FCC. I don't think I would download it either, JJ.
Junius,
Ask JP to take a look at that file for you before you proceed.

As an American I am outraged that such a station who is putting hard working men and women of our border security in harms way by announcing their positions. In addition they are putting our Nation in danger by potentially allowing terrorists to come over our borders. In addition, aiding and abetting illegal aliens is a Federal crime. Any radio station taking part in these activities should not be allowed to broadcast and those taking part in this type of activity ought to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
Junius,
Sounds like ti could be a virus. PM me the url and I'll take a look.
