Great news, your hard work has paid off again.

The latest attempt at the Dream Act Amnesty has failed and this is the 5th time it has failed!

The attempted Cloture vote was 52 YEA and 44 NEA. They needed 60 to move forward and they would have enough votes to pass it, if Cloture passed. That is something we must fix in the 2008 elections!

So far, Reid and Durbin have not come out with their "We will be back" speeches.

They fell 8 votes shy of what they needed.

Feel free to launch some letters to the editor, call into talk radio shows, and pursue our opposition on the Internet forums.

It is time to rub it in that this Bad Dream Act AMNESTY attempt has now failed 5 times! Get the hint!

We should never gloat, but it is time to rub these losses in to our opposition. They need to stay down, instead of forcing us to knock them down again and again.

There is some bad news out of NY State. The Democrats, not all but most, in the NY State House stopped the bill that would have stopped Spitzer's licenses for illegals plan. They would not allow it to come to a vote and they have adjourned the Special Session.

Our team is not out of the game yet in NY State and we will notify you of the next opportunity to help there.
