While yet another alleged/probable Illegal destroys more lives of legal US citizens. He's uninsured, no drivers license and aside from the suffering and personal costs there's the cost of the emergency personnel putting out the fire and cleaning up the mess, the cost of the destroyed vehicles, the cost of the free medical care that taxpayers must now provide, etc, etc but it's not really a big deal right??
How often do we hear this same story on the local news? Every 2-3 weeks? But it's a Federal issue so the local government isn't responsible?
Well, guess what? The Feds alone can't deal with the massive problem!
It's this "It's not my job/responsibility" mentality that leads to a faltering, mediocre society! Let's just "pass the buck" to someone else! Sad.
    Sorry, off my soapbox.

RALEIGH – One man's quick action may have saved a truck driver's life Monday night after a fiery crash on Interstate 40.

Two men were still in the hospital Tuesday night, one of whom faces charges, after the 7 p.m. wreck near the Wade Avenue split.

State troopers say an Isuzu Rodeo clipped a tractor-trailer while trying to get off on the Wade Avenue exit. The Isuzu's driver, Osmar Perez-Vicente, lost control of the vehicle, crossing all four lanes of traffic before hitting a Honda minivan

A second tractor-trailer slammed into the Rodeo and crossed the median, where it then hit a Dodge Charger. The tractor-trailer then overturned, spilling the trash it was carrying before catching on fire.

Clay Roberson saw the whole thing as he drove to work Monday night.

State troopers are charging Osmar Perez-Vicente with reckless driving and driving without a license. He is at Wake Med in serious condition.
Is Osmar Perez-Vicente 'on hold' for Immigration, too? The State trooper did not make a statement to the media on this status.
