Evidence illegal immigration is slowing or reversing?
Friends of ALIPAC,
We have growing evidence that the pressures you are creating politically in our nation are starting to work. As you can see in our platform, ALIPAC believes that illegal immigration can be reversed to a point where more illegals are leaving than coming in.
Over a period of 5-10 years, this could greatly reduce the number of illegals in America simply by enforcing our existing laws.
Clearly, we have a long way to go before we get to that point and nobody on our team should relax. In fact, now is the time to really push! More illegals are coming into America than the numbers leaving, but we may be seeing the beginnings of an exodus!
We believe what we are seeing now could be the beginning of a trend that will eventually lead to reversal. We just wanted to share this collection of information with you as an example of what we as Americans can do.
Supporting articles can be found below for you to take a closer look at, if you desire.
One, the government is reporting that fewer illegals are trying to cross the border. Some of the people we know on civilian border patrols do not agree with this assessment. While most of us have little trust for any official announcements on this topic from the Bush administration, they are reporting that attempted crossings are down.
If this is true, the most likely explanative is that crossings are down because the SENATE AMNESTY BILL FAILED and this turned off the AMNESTY RUSH we were seeing earlier this year.
Two, our operatives in the southwest that monitor Spanish TV and Radio broadcasts tell us that many of the stations are telling people NOT TO COME TO AMERICA. They claim that we are a 'mean spirited' and 'hateful' nation etc.... It is encouraging that several stations are now dissuading listeners across Central America by telling them conditions in America are no longer favorable for illegal aliens.
Three, news reports from Georgia tell us illegal aliens are leaving GA for other states and to go BACK TO MEXICO!
Four, we have a news report that illegal Brazilians are feeling the heat and liquidating assets and returning to Brazil!
Five, we have new reports of supposed illegal labor shortages in Florida and

That's great that the Spanish media are realistic and telling them not to come. I don't speak Spanish, but I've long wondered what they are telling them on the news. Also the flow of money back to Mexico is dwindling too.

Let's keep the pressure on!! Let's make sure the Senate does not pass anything like the FAIR bill, because then illegals will start coming again.

Mexican Refugee Requests Skyrocket-CANADA
http://www.alipac.us/modules.php?name=F ... ic&t=76426
According to the Immigration and Refugee Board, Mexican asylum claims have skyrocketed in a decade, from fewer than 1,000 a year to 5,000. For the past two years, Mexico has been Canada's top source country for refugee claims.
With the defeat this spring of a U.S. immigration bill that would have provided a path to citizenship for undocumented migrants – and the increasing hostility of many Americans – observers worry that Mexicans hoping for a safe haven will instead file claims in Canada.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Mexican shelters filling with southbound deportees

TECATE, Mexico -- Mexican shelters, usually the last stop for northbound migrants, are filling with southbound deportees. Fewer migrants are crossing in the wind-swept deserts along an increasingly fortified border.U.S. border agents detained 55,545 illegal migrants jumping over border walls, walking through the desert and swimming across the Rio Grande River between October and June. That's down 38 percent for the entire border compared to the same period a year before.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

I've read some of these reports and I feel its good that they are being printed for illegals to get some information about others leaving or not coming. If they are translating these articles into other language papers its good for them to know.
I agree! We don't stop. I'm praying I can get 287(g) implemented in my small town of 10,000. Unfortunately, in the wine country I'm on a up hill battle. We'll see after the New Jersey murders and and Lina Zinnik. These big profile cases my give me a foot in the door. I just need to find how to apply and all of the regulations.
Thanks for the updates. We need these encouragements.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)
