Help Needed: Maryland on the Brink!

    Friends of ALIPAC,

As many of you know, illegal aliens and their supporters scored a big win in Maryland earlier this year when the state legislature passed a portion of the Dream Act Amnesty, allowing illegal aliens to displace American kids in colleges at lower in-state tuition rates.

In-state tuition is subsidized by taxpayers so in effect Maryland taxpayers are now paying tax money to replace their own children in the limited seats in our best universities.

Americans are fighting back on the ground with gusto! State level activists and lawmakers are collecting signatures to take this law to the ballot where we will likely win and defeat the measure.

This would be the first time the public has overturned in-state tuition for illegals.

IF YOU ARE IN MARYLAND OR KNOW ANYONE IN MARYLAND YOUR HELP IS NEEDED ASAP!

The American Team must have 55,736 signatures from Maryland voters by midnight on Thursday June 30th.

Elections officials have already verified 47,288 signatures.

The illegal aliens and their supporters are fighting back!

We need you to take the following steps.

Signatures must be sent via overnight mail today or hand delivered to the MD Secretary of States office at 16 Francis Street, Annapolis, MD 21401 between 7pm-9pm Thursday night.

ONLY MD VOTERS CAN SIGN. BUT ANYONE CAN VOLUNTEER TO DRIVE IN AND COLLECT SIGNATURES BEFORE THE DEADLINE.

(Remember to sign your name or have others sign their names as it appears on their voter registration. No nicknames and use middle name or middle initial)

    Take steps:

    1. Print forms to sign.
    2. Volunteer to gather signatures
    3. Donate to their effort.
    4. Contact Maryland activists who need help

PS: Maryland voters go to https://mdpetitions.com/ to sign and deliver your form. Maryland and surrounding state activists use https://mdpetitions.com/ to gather signatures before the deadline Thursday night!

The unemployment rate among American college graduates is already dismal. Unemployment among American teens is at a record high. Unemployment for Black teenagers is over 40%.

Where are the civic and public leaders hiding while our young adults graduate into an economy already saturated with over eight million illegal aliens more than willing to work for far less than fair pay?

The public education system benefits tremendously from federal grants for every seat occupied by an illegal alien or the child of an illegal alien.

This is pure greed at it's worst.

I do believe we can collect enough signatures to get this on the ballot. AND, at least we have put this so-called "Dream Act" on hold for now.....the bill was supposed to go into effect this Friday, but now it has been delayed since so many signatures have been collected and since we are very close to our goal for the number of signatures needed. Keep it up Maryland! Our voices WILL be heard in this illegal alien-friendly state!!!!

And for any of you who pass this information along to those who live in Maryland, tell them not to "be fearful" of filling out the information that is asked for the online petition.

The reason they ask for your full name, birth date and zip code is simply so they can check that information against the Maryland voter registry. Once your information is confirmed that you indeed are a registered Maryland voter, the petition website then tells you exactly how your name appears in the voter database. This is vital information, because you MUST sign your name exactly as it appears on the Maryland voter database. Casa de Maryland and the ACLU are trying to invalidate as many signatures as possible, so by knowing exactly how your name appears in the voter database is crucial in making sure you sign it correctly.

Like I said, Casa de Maryland and the ACLU are working endlessly to invalidate as many signatures as possible (yes, the ACLU is fighting against the legal citizen voters of Maryland) so please tell people not to be alarmed when they go to the website and they are asked for name, birthdate and zip code. This information is NOT being used for any other reasons other than to check it against the voter registry so they can tell you exactly how your name appears on that voter registry so everyone can sign properly. Once your information is confirmed, you simply hit "print", sign the petition, and mail it back. I believe anything that is postmarked by tomorrow will be accepted. Please help us in Maryland!!!!

Pro-Amnesty enablers are embedded deeply inside state government offices having purview and oversight of these referendums.

A favorite tactic of theirs is to disqualify signatures based simply on their opinion that the signatures were 'invalid' due to some minor technicality.

Make sure those collecting these signatures are aware of this and take that extra few seconds to ask those signing to please print their information legibly.

We need every tool we can to fight the amnesty supporters. This happens all across the country.

Can some of you please seek out website forums and facebook pages associated with the state of Maryland and post this request?

There is also an 'adopt a voter feature' on their site at ...

    https://mdpetitions.com/adopt

it looks like a very smart idea but will not work in time for our deadline.

We need some people in Maryland and from surrounding states to print up these forms and go ask people on the streets and go door to door getting last minute signatures.

Illegal immigrant tuition bill in Maryland delayed from taking effect due to petition drive
By Associated Press, Updated: Wednesday, June 29, 11:55 AM

ANNAPOLIS, Md. — A measure allowing in-state tuition for certain illegal immigrants in Maryland won’t be among the many bills taking effect this week as scheduled, because state and local elections officials will need about three weeks to verify additional signatures opponents of the bill are submitting to put the legislation on the 2012 ballot for a statewide referendum.

Republican Delegate Neil Parrott, who has been leading the petition drive, said Wednesday he will bring more than the 8,448 signatures needed in addition to the 47,288 the Maryland State Board of Elections already has validated.
“We have that minimum number, and the question is how far above that number do we have,â€

Good news ---- from what I am hearing we did it!!!! Seems like we have collected WELL OVER the specified number of signatures needed! I will do my best to keep everyone posted, but looks like this will definitely go on the ballot next year.

Unfortunately though, Casa de Maryland and the ACLU are still trying to invalidate signatures, and they also have the information of everyone who signed this petition. I am thinking those of us that signed might very well be getting some soliciting phone calls between now and next year's election in hopes to change our mind, but we shall see.

I am keeping fingers crossed that this makes national headlines. This country needs to be made aware that citizens of Maryland are still facing backlash as we attempt to exercise our rights in democracy. We gathered these signatures fair and square, despite facing anti-American groups like Casa de Maryland PHYSICALLY trying to stop people from signing this petition and saying our methods for collecting signatures could open the door to fraud. (Hmm, what about the countless illegal aliens who commit identity fraud, social security fraud, document fraud, etc?)

We needed 56,736 signatures to get this bill to referendum. Last I heard, we had about 110,000. Of course, many of those signatures will be invalidated, but this is still certainly a success for us. Over 47,000 of those signatures have already been validated! The people of Maryland have spoken and I am so thankful with the results!! God Bless America!

Our fight is far from over, but this is an amazing start!!!
