Maine Closes the Door on Licenses for Illegals!
Friends of ALIPAC,
We are pleased to report another victory for our team, in the battle to reverse illegal immigration in America.
Driver licenses are a core document illegal aliens need to be able to drive, rent, open accounts, work jobs, vote illegally, etc...
Our earlier victory in Oregon has now been followed by a victory in Maine!
During the ALIPAC FOCUS Campaign to stop Maine from issuing licenses to illegal aliens, many of you worked hard with calls, e-mails, faxes, and letters contacting lawmakers in Maine.
We could tell by the feedback that things were going well for our side.
Now it is official as we plant an ALIPAC flag on the state of Maine.

While we find ourselves running from battle to battle, it is important to take the time to say thank you when we can.
Please take a few minutes over the next few days to select five Maine lawmakers at random to contact by phone and e-mail to say...
"Thank you for standing with Americans and passing a bill to secure Maine driver licenses. Over 77% of Americans oppose licenses for illegal aliens. We are happy to see Oregon and Maine end the practice and thank you for your efforts in Maine!"

We have strong momentum on this issue now because of our wins in these states and the collapse of defamed Governor Elliot Spitzer's plan in New York State last year.
We will soon send you activism plans to push to stop the following states from their practice of giving illegal aliens licenses

I believe these are the only states still granting licenses to illegal immigrants.
Hawaii, Maryland, New Mexico, Utah, Washington
I believe Maryland and Utah attempted to discontinue that practice this legislative session.

Ya and Washington does nothing, right next door to me and they remain a sanctuary state basically. Actually I have one on each side as we have Utah also.

More states to deny illegal migrants driver’s licenses

In four of the five remaining states that allow illegal immigrants to drive — Hawaii, Maine, New Mexico, Utah and Washington — there have been attempts to reverse course, according to the National Immigration Law Center (NILC). The exception: Hawaii.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

I do think Oregon's move is going to put pressure on Washington and Utah, especially Washington, people are already talking about driving across the river into Wash. to obain a license so this should put pressure on them. Lets hope, Wash. is pretty much a sanctuary state.
