Americans for Legal Immigration Political Action Committee (ALIPAC) is lobbying against the nomination of Sonia Sotomayor to the US Supreme Court due to her racially biased comments, court decisions, and group affiliations, and is asking the US Senate to slow her nomination process.

"Sonia Sotomayor is a member and supporter of the racist group La Raza which supports Amnesty and welfare benefits for illegal aliens," said William Gheen of ALIPAC. "Her membership in this racist group, along with her racist 'wise Latina' comments and her court decisions against the firefighters in New Haven, tells us that Sonia Sotomayor shows a pattern of bigotry that should not be welcomed on the Supreme Court!"

Public and lawmaker opposition to Sonia Sotomayor and President Obama are growing rapidly as the public learns more details about the nominee's past.

Obama's public approval ratings have dived into negative levels since pushing the Sotomayor nomination and announcing his support for Comprehensive Immigration Reform AMNESTY. At the time of this release, Rasmussen reports that Obama's approval ratings have plunged to a minus 7.

Gallup polling indicates that as time progresses, initially offered public support for Sonia Sotomayor's nomination is turning to opposition. In May Gallup found Sotomayor had 43% favorability, 21% unfavorable, and 21% unsure. Shortly before the public Senate hearings those numbers had changed to 38% favorable, with 26% unfavorable and 17% unsure.

"The American public is sick and tired of these Washington insiders passing new legislation that they have not even read before voting on!" said William Gheen. "It is time to slow things down in Washington and to slow down the Sotomayor nomination process. The more the public learns about Sonia Sotomayor, the less they support her."

ALIPAC has been conducting talk radio interviews across the nation discussing Sonia Sotomayor's involvement in the racist group called La Raza and their mutual support for Amnesty for illegal aliens. The group feels that Sonia Sotomayor is an unacceptable choice for America and has their supporters calling members of the US Senate to ask lawmakers to reject her nomination and slow the nomination process down.

ALIPAC expects Sonia Sotomayor's approval ratings to drop more rapidly during the televised hearings as the public learns more about Obama's unacceptable nominee.
