Immigration Enforcement Group Defends Against Amnesty Push

Americans for Legal Immigration PAC (ALIPAC) is launching an all out defensive effort in Washington, DC to block a major push for Amnesty for illegal aliens in 2009.

ALIPAC is one of America's largest grassroots organizations fighting for secure borders, immigration enforcement and against Amnesty and taxpayer benefits for illegal immigrants.

The group has been credited for playing a central role in the defeat of Comprehensive Immigration Reform Amnesty and Dream Act Amnesty attempts in 2006 and 2007. ALIPAC has also helped defeat many state legislative attempts to provide taxpayer resources for illegal immigrants including recent victories in Colorado, Arkansas, Oregon, New Jersey, and Maryland.

"We can defeat Amnesty because the vast majority of Americans agree with our stances," said William Gheen of ALIPAC. "Americans want comprehensive immigration enforcement, instead of amnesty for illegal aliens and their employers."

ALIPAC and allied organizations are reacting to an Amnesty push that is funded by millions of dollars and groups like the US Chamber of Commerce, the National Council of La Raza, MALDEF, LULAC, Immigration Voice, and hundreds of smaller groups and corporate backers.

"The pro-illegal alien Amnesty side is being funded by Global financial industries that place their profits and power above the best interests or will of the American public," said William Gheen. "If they succeed in turning over 15 million illegal immigrants into voters via a path to citizenship, then the United States as you've known it will be destroyed and the American people will be subjugated to their will."

ALIPAC has over 25,000 supporters nationwide who are now being asked to participate in Phase 4 of our "Stop Amnesty in 2009" campaign. Citizen activists of every race and creed are focusing on states where Amnesty legislation has been soundly defeated in 2009. Once those states are complete, ALIPAC plans to go after Federal lawmakers in states that passed strong immigration enforcement legislation in 2007 and 2008, which resulted in peaceful and humane mass exoduses of illegal aliens from those states.
