Thread: We did not make it

I am very sorry to report that Americans for Legal Immigration PAC fell $8,778 short of the $30,000 minimum we needed to raise to fund our operations against illegal immigration and amnesty for 2017.

We are all so very thankful to each of you who did donate since January at www.ALIPAC.us/donations Your support means the world to us and our combined past contributions are the reason that nation destroying amnesty for illegal aliens has not become law before now.

While we are thankful we have a President now who has come to power and taken the point in our movement by using messages and promises derived from our preexisting efforts 2004-2016, it is unfortunate that some of our supporters feel the battle is won or there is no need for their continued donations and volunteerism.

There are still 20 million illegal aliens on American soil, brought here for the purpose of forcing our borders open forever and turning all tiers of our government to Democrat socialist blue. Over time, their invasion is still very likely to succeed. Without watchdog organizations like ALIPAC fighting to keep politicians in line with the American public, and without our experienced hands guarding against permanent legislative amnesty, the chances the invaders and their backers will eventually win increase dramatically.

At this time, we are open to any new donations to help us fill the budget hole or anyone who wants to contact us to help with suggestions or their skills.

We are going to take the time over this weekend to collect feedback, speak with our supporters by phone and email, and plan what our announcement will be this coming Monday.

Three is nothing left to cut from our streamlined organization except for me. If we cannot find a way to raise $8,778, ALIPAC will either announce we are shutting down for good at the end of March or the site will revert to a blog instead of a functioning national organization.

ALIPAC is America's only Political Action Committee fighting illegal immigration, and one of only four national organizations fighting for Americans on this issue. We are the world's largest archive of information on these topics, and our strategies and messages played a key role in stopping Amnesty legislation in DC at least five times.

These funds drives three times each year and not knowing if I still have a job each time has taken a toll on me. I will do all I can to either save ALIPAC, stay in the fight somehow, or handle our exit from the battlefield in a way that minimizes the negative impacts our departure will have on our movement to stop and reverse illegal immigration.

I am the sole remaining paid employee at ALIPAC, and my small salary is the lowest in the movement and among the lowest 10% of all non-profit organizations. I have no benefits, no retirement, no severance, and after all I've put into the organization from my own pocket, I have no savings. I am just not a man of wealth who can do this kind of work on my own dime, although I expended my life savings to start this organization back in 2004-2005. I may be able to continue helping as a volunteer for awhile, but at this moment I just don't know what to do.

I've been able to run a national organization, influence laws and policy through media, and occasionally win some David and Goliath political and legislative fights only because of the many of you who volunteered to put in so much work at ALIPAC. You folks from across America have been kind enough to read our releases and alerts, volunteer as activists, and donate when you're able.

It has been the greatest honor in my life to work and stand with so many great patriots like you. Stopping the amnesty bills in DC and affecting the history and direction of America is an honor I'll always cherish. I accept full responsibility for any failures or decisions contributing to our shortfall. And while many great hardships likely await me due to my choice to be your avatar in the national fight against illegal immigration, I will always be thankful for those of you who helped us in many ways.

Sorry to have to announce this bad news. The illegal alien supporting groups and corrupt politicians like John McCain will rejoice when they learn we fell 29% short of the number of donors and volunteers we needed to mobilize to continue fighting against them.

Monday morning we may have to announce that ALIPAC must follow Sheriff Joe Arpaio's exit from the national fight to save America unless some major support comes to our rescue over the weekend.
