Motion on NC immigration enforcement bill!

    Battle for NC Team:

The next 72 hours are critical! We recently received word of two developments.

One, HB 2692 "Support Federal Immigration Legislation" was pulled up fast in the rules committee, passed and is now headed to the floor! A vote is expected Sunday night. This is a resolution so it will only require one vote on the House floor Monday.

HB 2692 is a bipartisan bill that simply makes a statement reinforcing Congresswoman Sue Myrick's call for a new immigration court to be located near Charlotte NC. Right now, the closest immigration court is in Atlanta and this is hindering NC immigration enforcement efforts as prisoners must be transported to Atlanta. Most of the time, ICE just sets them free!

Two, our message has reached the house floor and Representatives were discussing the DWI deaths caused by illegal aliens on the floor. Your messages have made it to the record.

Now we need you to work hard for the next 32 hours.

If you have not made sure that your local officials have the information from our first project then you need to finish that fast. Here are the details of phase 1. Please clear those tasks and make sure the whole state knows this info.

Immediate Action Needed in North Carolina.

    NEW FOCUS!

It's back to the General Assembly folks! We need calls. Yes calls. Again we are hearing from the General Assembly staff that most of you are using e-mails and making only a few calls. THIS IS A GOOD WAY TO LOSE.

Again, e-mails are important but they are the most likely form of communication NOT to make it to the legislators. We want you to send e-mails, but PLEASE MAKE THE CALLS.

Our new messages for all members of the NC House and Senate

    1. Please vote for HB 2692. We need an immigration court in Charlotte NC.

    2. HB 2692 is the least effective bill that has been filed. Please bring the following bills out of committee and make sure the NC General assembly does not leave town without serious immigration enforcement legislation.

List of bills that need to be discussed
    http://www.alipac.us/modules.php?name=F ... ic&t=32882

    3. Can Representative / Senator __________ Please make comments on the floor about how we need action on these bills and what illegal immigration is doing to the state? The debate over HB 2692 and points of personal privilege would be a good time to go on the record about this issue.

How many more licenses will be given to illegal aliens in NC? How many more millions of dollars of my tax monies will be given to illegal aliens by next year? How many more illegal aliens will come to NC if we don't take action? How many more North Carolinians will be killed or injured by illegal aliens if we do not take action? How many more counties will be eaten up by MS-13 gang members if we do not take action on illegal immigration? How many more North Carolinians will lose their jobs and wages if NC Legislators do not take action? Do you know this will be a top issue in your district this November?

We are watching! We are listening! We will remember in November.

Ask the hard questions and expect answers. If you are not clear on what to do, feel free to ask.

Please post your activities and progress here.

I just sent this to the State, Raleigh and Wake Co. folks.

The number of illegal immigrants is getting way out of hand. 400,000 and that is just an estimate. There is an admitted illegal alien playing on the NC State basketball team. Recently the Highway Patrol went to a construction site to search for a suspect illegal alien who fled an accident scene and when they drove up dozens of people ran away. We had thousands marching in the streets a few months ago. A good percentage of the growth of our public school enrollment can be contributed to illegal aliens. Sure most of them are working and economically contributing to the communities. But most don't hold high dollar jobs and most don't own houses so there is no way the amount of their contribution pays for the amount of social services they receive. How many foreign citizens are here working high tech jobs in the RTP. Did you know that the estimate is somewhere around 50% of those here legally on work, student and visitor visas overstay, blend into the community and become illegal aliens. Many states are taking their own action to combat illegal immigration including states that border ours. Are we going to stand by and let North Carolina become a sanctuary state?

How much more do we need to open our eyes.

How many more licenses will be given to illegal aliens in NC? How many more millions of dollars of tax monies paid by legal US citizens will be given to illegal aliens by next year? How many more illegal aliens will come to NC if we don't take action? How many more North Carolinians will be killed or injured by illegal aliens if we do not take action? How many more counties will be eaten up by MS-13 gang members if we do not take action on illegal immigration? How many more North Carolinians will lose their jobs and wages if NC Legislators do not take action? Do you know this will be a top issue at the polls this November?

People are watching! People are listening! People will remember in November.

    Respectfully,

I e-mailed eveyone, except Wake and Raleigh because I wasn't sure the message you wanted send to them.

Also, I called Steen to Yongue in the House. I'll try to get to more later.

I would focus on school and jail overcrowding with these folks.
