Unbeknownst to most Americans, Barack Obama currently plans to issue an edict that defies current US Laws and the US Constitution by establishing amnesty for millions of illegal immigrants on Mexican Revolution Day 2014, which is traditionally celebrated on November 20 in Mexico and by Mexicans everywhere.

November 20 is Mexican "Revolution Day" or Mexican "Civil War Day" which is the equivalent of America's 4th of July. Obama's choice of this date for his departure from his Oath of Office and the US Constitution creates a permanent symbolic relationship between his actions and Mexico's violent revolutionary and civil wars from 1910-1920!

"Obama is making a powerful and dangerous symbolic declaration to large Spanish media audiences today comparing his new immigration orders to the violent Mexican revolution and civil war!" said William Gheen, President of ALIPAC. "Obama is timing his move to thwart the American public's voice in Congress to coincide with Mexican Revolution Day and the Ferguson verdict while CBS, ABC, and NBC will keep most US citizens oblivious tonight!"

The world's largest Spanish language media corporation Univision plans to interrupt one of their most popular shows to carry Obama's Mexican Revolution Day message to hundreds of millions of Spanish speakers in the USA, Central and South America, and around the globe, while only a narrow band of Americans will see Obama's speech live on TV.

While millions of current and future illegal immigrants watch the speech, only Americans watching Fox News, CNN, CSPAN, PBS, and MSNBC will know anything is happening.

ALIPAC and Overpasses for America are launching a coalition emergency plan to increase American English speaking audience viewership of the Obama speech tonight at 8pm ET Nov. 20, 2014.

Concerned American citizens are being asked to warn as many other Americans as possible about tonight's nation destabilizing decree from Obama using text messages, phone calls, emails, tweets, Facebook posts and shares, online forums, talk radio shows, and other social media.

Concerned citizens will also be calling ABC, NBC, and CBS to request they carry Obama's announcement to their US viewers. (click for contact list)

Finally, the coalition has built a Facebook Event page similar to the ones used to organize more than 600 protests against Obama and illegal immigration between July and October of this year to organize activist behind Operation #StopO & Backlash Reaction!
    https://www.facebook.com/events/1501109700172296/

American citizens who watch Obama's speech are asked to self broadcast their reactions immediately following the speech using social media, phones, emails, and website posts.

"We do not need the pro amnesty Fox News and CNN networks to carry our reaction to Obama's speech!" said James Neighbors, founder of Overpasses for America. "We need a large number of American citizen activists to share Obama's speech and their reactions to it hand to hand online to as many people as they can for as long as they can! We plan to get the word out tonight using hand to hand activism!"

Gheen and Neighbors hope other leaders and organizations will join this coalition effort quickly and take up the challenge to join the "Backlash Reaction" marathon internet activism effort! Leading activists plan to communicate their reaction to the speech using all electronic means necessary including a Twitter Bomb at #StopO .

Mexico's Revolution Day (Dia de la Revolución) is a national public holiday that celebrates a 10-year revolution that began in 1910 to end the struggle against dictator José de la Cruz Porfirio Díaz Mori. The public holiday falls on the third Monday in November, near the official day on November 20.

Obama Doesn't Bother to Solicit English-Speaking Networks for Coverage
President's amnesty announcement for Latino ears only
    11.20.2014

President Obama’s announcement of his immigration executive order Thursday night is apparently for Latino ears only. Though the White House claims that they sent out “feelers” to the major English-speaking networks, they didn’t bother sending an official request for coverage. Instead, only Latino networks Univision and Telemundo are airing the president’s 10-minute announcement.

As The Washington Post notes, the president’s 8 p.m. announcement comes at a particularly opportune time for reaching a “captive audience of Hispanic television viewers”: the 15th annual Latin Grammys, which airs on Univision starting at 7 p.m. Last year around 9.8 million viewers tuned into the awards ceremony. Univision is doing its part to make sure the president's message reaches its millions of viewers by temporarily postponing the show to broadcast Obama’s address.

Reports have it that illegal immigrants across the country are throwing watch parties in anticipation of the president’s announcement of amnesty for around 5 million immigrants here illegally. One Chicago Latino leader, Pastor Emma Lozano of Aldaberto United Methodist Church, told The Washington Times she’ll be watching the address alongside people currently facing deportation:

“We’re going to be watching this very closely, people in my church,” said Aldaberto. “We’re going to have the TV on in both languages and really praying and hoping we get what we deserve.”

Though Politico reports that the White House is “exasperated” that the big English-speaking networks “snubbed” the announcement, the same report reveals that the Obama administration didn’t bother sending the standard formal request for coverage to networks Wednesday. Instead, the White House simply posted an announcement of the message on its Facebook page—perhaps the first such announcement of its kind.

Obama to act unilaterally on immigration, irking Republicans

Obama to act unilaterally on immigration, irking Republicans

ReutersBy By Steve Holland and Richard Cowan | Reuters – 16 hours ago

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Barack Obama will outline a plan on Thursday to relax U.S. immigration policy for as many as 5 million people, bypassing Congress and angering Republicans.

U.S. Representative Paul Ryan, the leading Republican voice on fiscal policy and a potential 2016 presidential candidate, called the plan a "partisan bomb" while a spokesman for House Speaker John Boehner branded the president “Emperor Obama” for acting unilaterally.

The White House said Obama will deliver a televised speech at 8 p.m. ET on Thursday (0100 GMT Friday) laying out the plan followed by a trip to Las Vegas on Friday. Nevada is home to the highest proportion of undocumented immigrants.

Frustrated by years of congressional inaction on what most in Washington agree is a broken immigration system, Obama said he is now prepared to use his executive authority.

Obama's directives are expected to remove the threat of deportation for as many as 5 million of the estimated 11 million people living illegally in the United States.

The decision will cement his legacy as having aided Hispanics who helped elect him in 2008 and who have become increasingly vocal in their frustration that he has failed to live up to his promise to enact immigration reform.

The unilateral overhaul will likely have a ripple effect on the campaign to find a successor to the president in 2016. While Hispanics will no doubt be pleased, Democrats could face a backlash from voters.

Reaction was swift from Republicans who took control of the Senate in Nov. 4 elections and strengthened their grip on the House of Representatives.

While liberal Democrats were thrilled at Obama's decision to move ahead, some moderate voices in Obama's party were uneasy.

"I wish he wouldn't do it," said Democratic Senator Joe Manchin of West Virginia. "I just wish he wouldn't do it."

Obama will host 18 congressional Democrats at the White House to consolidate support for his immigration plans among his closest allies on Capitol Hill.

Some conservative Republicans have threatened to fight the immigration move by imposing funding restrictions in a must-pass spending bill, which could conceivably lead to a government shutdown.

Republican leaders, however, have stressed they will not allow a shutdown after facing heavy criticism for the last one a year ago.

What's behind Obama's bold move on immigration

Poll: Just 38% of Americans want Obama to take executive action on immigration

House Republicans are weighing a range of responses to register their disapproval.

"If 'Emperor Obama' ignores the American people and announces an amnesty plan that he himself has said over and over again exceeds his constitutional authority, he will cement his legacy of lawlessness and ruin the chances for congressional action on this issue and many others," said Michael Steel, spokesman for House Speaker John Boehner.

For a president known for having deported thousands of illegal migrants, the actions he will take mark a dramatic shift in course, although advocacy groups will argue that he should go even further in protecting more people who work low-paying jobs that many American citizens prefer not to do.

Sources close to the administration said Obama is planning to issue a reprieve from deportation that will cover some parents of U.S. citizens and legal permanent residents.

That initiative would expand on a 2012 executive order by the president that gave relief from deportation and work permits to undocumented children brought to the United States by their parents.

There is also expected to be a border security element and Obama will act to help companies hire and retain high-skilled workers from abroad, the sources said.

Obama's move is his most defiant step yet in reaction to the elections handing control of the Senate to Republicans. The new political order in Washington will test Obama's ability to make compromises with his opponents.

An NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll found 48 percent would prefer Obama not act on his own, while 38 percent support it and 14 percent had no opinion or were unsure.

The last major immigration overhaul that expanded the number of legal migrants was in 1986 through legislation signed by Republican President Ronald Reagan. An attempt by President George W. Bush in 2007 for immigration reform failed.

It is not out of the question that Obama early next year could offer to approve the long-stalled Keystone XL pipeline from Canada in exchange for a deal on immigration legislation.

Despite claims that Obama may overstep his executive powers, Stephen Legomsky, a former U.S. immigration official who is now a professor at Washington University law school, said the president's planned action appeared to fit well within the bounds of established law and prosecutorial discretion.

LA Times Editorial: Obama is an “Imperial President”

We’re finally starting to see a few intellectually honest liberals stand up and call out Obama for using the same (and worse) executive actions that Bush, Nixon, and other Republicans who they severely criticized used.

Obama’s most egregious unconstitutional executive actions have centered on bypassing Congress to change law and make appointments to key positions and violating our constitutional rights through the NSA’s spying program.

At the forefront of this fight against this executive overreach has been Jonathan Turley, a liberal law professor at George Washington University, who recently testified at a congressional committee hearing about Obama’s unconstitutional actions. He even said that Obama was causing “the worst constitutional crisis in my lifetime.”

Turley recently voiced his concerns in an op-ed for the LA Times. He called Obama an “imperial president,” and lists many examples of how he’s used waivers, exemptions, and other executive actions to essentially change the laws of Congress.

Here’s what he said, via LA Times:

Recently, a bizarre scene unfolded on the floor of the House of Representatives that would have shocked the framers of the Constitution. In his State of the Union address, President Obama announced that he had decided to go it alone in areas where Congress refused to act to his satisfaction. In a system of shared powers, one would expect an outcry or at least stony silence when a president promised to circumvent the legislative branch. Instead, many senators and representatives erupted in rapturous applause; they seemed delighted at the notion of a president assuming unprecedented and unchecked powers at their expense.

Last week, Obama underlined what this means for our system: The administration unilaterally increased the transition time for individuals to obtain the level of insurance mandated by the Affordable Care Act. There is no statutory authority for the change — simply the raw assertion of executive power.

This should frighten us most of all – not that Obama is overstepping his boundaries – but that members of Congress are cheering him on as he does so. The piece continues:

This massive shift of authority threatens the stability and functionality of our tripartite system of checks and balances. To be sure, it did not begin with the Obama administration. The trend has existed for decades, and President George W. Bush showed equal contempt for the separation of powers. However, it has accelerated at an alarming rate under Obama. Of perhaps greater concern is the fact that the other two branches appear passive, if not inert, in the face of expanding executive power.

He’s certainly right about this. The trend of unchecked executive power didn’t start with Obama, but he has accelerated it far beyond any president in recent memory. If we’re going to have any chance at returning to the constitutional framework our Founders envisioned, this trend will have to be reversed.

Finally, he lists some ways in which Obama is expanding executive power by bypassing Congress:

The suspension of a portion of the ACA is only the latest such action related to the healthcare law:

    • The heart of the healthcare law was a set of minimum requirements for insurance plans. After Obama was embarrassed by the cancellations of millions of nonconforming plans (when he had said no one would lose a plan they had and liked), he created first one temporary exemption and then, last week, another, adding two years to the compliance deadline set by law.

    • On his own authority, Obama also chose other dates for compliance with the employer mandate.

    • Congress ended a subsidy for members of Congress and their staffs so that they would obtain insurance under the ACA on the same terms as other citizens. Obama ordered that the same subsidies would continue, in defiance of the law.

This goes much further than just Obamacare… Obama is making his own laws in many different policy areas:

He asked Congress to change the law to exempt certain classes of immigrants — particularly children — who are in the U.S. illegally from deportation. Congress refused to pass the so-called Dream Act, but Obama proceeded to order agencies to effectively guarantee the very same changes.

    • The administration ordered all U.S. attorneys to stop prosecuting nonviolent drug crime defendants who would be subject to what Atty. Gen. Eric H. Holder Jr. called draconian mandatory minimum sentences. The new rule effectively negates sentencing provisions set by Congress.

    • Obama opposed the No Child Left Behind Act and in effect nullified it through waivers of his own making.

    • For years, the Wire Act was interpreted to mean that Internet gambling was prohibited, which some states and businesses opposed. The Obama administration declared the act would now be treated as having the inverse meaning.

Finally, Turley notes that even though he agrees with many of the president’s policies, he notes that “in our system, it is often more important how we do something than what we do.” He’s certainly right about that – the ends do not justify the means.

In Obama’s Machiavellian world, anything is justify as long as it gets a good result, like “helping people.” This is what tyrants have always said. This kind of thinking has always ended badly and undermined the rule of law.
