Americans Lose Self Governance

Recent polling data from national firms shows over 80% of Americans feel the country is headed in the wrong direction, while Rasmussen and Christian Science Monitor polls show public approval of the government and Congress has fallen to historic lows of 9-12%.

Americans list their top issues of concern as the war, the economy, and illegal immigration.

"No other issue illustrates the disconnect between American citizens and their government more than illegal immigration," said William Gheen of ALIPAC. "Over 80% of Americans want our existing laws adequately enforced and that is clearly not happening. This means that We the People no longer control the policies of our government."

Americans are watching powerlessly, as the nation spins out of control and Washington, DC fails them on many levels.

"Many Americans are now living in a private hell with a loss of privacy," said William Gheen. "These polling numbers would not be at historic highs and lows of dissatisfaction, if the American people were truly being represented in Washington and truly had an impact on the policy decisions of the Executive Branch. Special interests are in control and they represent elite Global financial interests, not the American public. We only hope that Americans can restore civilian control in DC, before these destructive special interests bring further ruin and misery to our nation. There can be no freedom, security, or prosperity for American without self-governance and a functioning Republic."

Is there some way we can legally force the government to do it's contracted duties? I know we get to vote, but look what we get to vote for neither candidate for President nor Congress represents the American People who are supposed to be running the government, they don't even obey their own laws!

Nonfeasance of office is grounds for impeachment, nonfeasance is the refusal to do the job one was hired to do. Each elected official swore to obey and uphold the Constitution, ALL of the Constitution not just the parts they can use to increase their power and income, including Article Four Section Four which REQUIRES the government to "Protect the States from Invasion and Domestic violence..." The government is IGNORING and REFUSING to Obey or Enforce legitimate law, can't we file a class action suit to MAKE them obey the law and abide by their OATH?

Abe Lincoln called out the army when the South refused to enforce federal law and decided to make their own laws, so why haven't we invaded San Fransicko?

I think it was on Lou Dobbs last night. He had a German man on that wrote a book about Global Search for Wealth, or something like that. Anyway after the gentleman talked about the book, Lou asked him what the rest of world thought about where America was now.....his answer.....Going down the wrong path.

We are kissing up to countries and people who are thrilled at our demise and can't wait to take over declaring how it easy it was....never had to fire a shot. Whether it's by radical groups from other countries, or economically with places like China and the middle-east. We are compromising our morals and values and laws to appease people who have no love for us or this country. We've become weak and spineless. (Not we, the people, our government.) We're appeasing illegals who don't belong here, our president is groveling for oil because we won't produce anymore, we are at the mercy importing goods and food from countries who dispise us and don't want any standards and expectations placed on them. Our country is going down the tubes while our officials are telling us this is all good for us. It may be good for someone....but it sure isn't us, or this country.

Its getting time for the people to take control back!! And if that means an emergency election for new members of government to replace those with the worst records and approval ratings on the biggest Issues WE care about then so be it.
