Reversing Illegal Immigration Report Backed By Media Reports

Americans for Legal Immigration PAC (ALIPAC), which manages the largest archive of information in the world on the topic of illegal immigration, is confirming that media reports from across America confirm the primary findings of the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) report released this week detecting a reduction in the illegal alien population in America.

"We know that illegal aliens are leaving certain states, local areas, and the nation in much greater numbers and they are leaving, as a direct result of more immigration enforcement," said William Gheen of ALIPAC. "While the economy is certainly a factor, media reports from Georgia, Arizona, and Oklahoma report mass exoduses of illegals from those states and many say they are going back home in reaction to new enforcement measures."

Illegal alien supporting groups are now attacking the report, entitled “Homeward Bound: Recent Immigration Enforcement and the Decline in the Illegal Alien Population,â€

"America's entire illegal immigration crisis has been created by the under enforcement of our existing immigration laws at the behest of the Executive Branch, big business, and some leftist organizations," said William Gheen. "When the states and local governments start doing the job the Feds should be doing, the illegal aliens immigrate to areas of lax enforcement or back home."

Schools across the nation first reported in January, that attendance by illegal immigrants in its system, was steadily dropping at a noticeable rate. Now, almost eight months later, other sectors in our states are also noticing a decline in the number of illegal immigrant workers. Lawn companies and construction crews are reporting a drop in the number of illegal’s coming to them for work, and are becoming shorthanded and forced to hire American workers at much fairer wages. Some are speculating that the U.S. economic downturn, might be one of the reasons that illegal immigrants are packing up and heading back home. Arizona and Pennsylvania, both took the problem of the overpopulation of their states by illegal immigrants, and went to work getting laws passed by state legislatures, and immediately began enforcing those laws once they were enforced. They sent out the message to illegal immigrants, what is on the horizon when we citizens get the laws across the board and begin enforcing them. Arizona literally saw thousands of illegal immigrants moving out of their stat, as soon as the new law became enacted, and can already see the good results. Arizona’s new sanction law, which was mandated in February, targets employers who hires illegal immigrants, whether knowingly or unknowingly. The whole state, including the Sherriff’s office, worked together and Arizona’s citizens even had a special hotline to call in and report employers whom defiantly kept hiring illegal immigrants. It seems that this is causing a domino effect, in which illegal immigrants are finally getting it, that there will be no amnesty anytime soon. Another factor, which may be helping, is that those in our Congress, whom have worked hard to get amnesty passed for nearly 30 million illegal immigrants, keeps getting vetoed. The harder they work to give privileges to these unlawful immigrants, the harder the average American protests, by writing and calling their state legislatures and letting them know how unhappy this makes us. If all states follow Arizona and Pennsylvania’s example, illegal immigration will be a thing of the past..
