Florida Tea-Party picks Perry over Romney 28% to 22%
They said it's because Romney has the same policy views as Obama concerning Social Security and Healthcare!
And stevetheroofer says if Mass. wasn't paying medical bills for illegals Romneycare may very well have worked, and if illegals weren't draining medicaid for every penny Obamacare may very well work too! With illegals collecting $135 billion a year from the United States I'd have to say nothing seems to be working including Americans!Support our FIGHT AGAINST illegal immigration & Amnesty by joining our E-mail Alerts at http://eepurl.com/cktGTn

Finished
Rick Perry was finished in my opinion from day 1. Educate illegal immigrants childern, I will agree they need it to understand our laws. Pay for it, you have got to be kidding, kinda sounds like the guy that's in office now.
I'll keep my God, my freedom, my guns, and my money. You can keep THE CHANGE. jimster

I've been a Texan all my life and proud of my state. Perry, however, has lost all my respect and will not get my vote. He has shown his colors now for all to see. I can't post my disgust with him as it will be moderated. He's finished.
...I call on you in the name of Liberty, of patriotism & everything dear to the American character, to come to our aid...

I really LIKED Perry b/c i recalled him as the Gov of Texas begging a heartless obama for help with the border.
NOW i fully understand that Rick Perry IS a globalist one world government and supports OPEN BORDERS, supports illegals over US Citizens! Do we really want another obama in office who will continue the agenda of globalists.
I was so against Mitt Romney but now he is coming out in FAVOR OF US CITIZENS...i do hope he's not the one the globalists have chosen and it could be the globalists are using perry as the means to push us towards Romney.
Also please spread this word...that if you are currently a registered Independent you will NOT be able to vote in the Republican primaries next spring! So get over to or call your election board to get your party affiliation changed to REPUBLICAN so you can have a say in who gets the nomination...we all KNOW that the RNC and the DNC have the say but they cannot go against the will of We the People..
We've got to get it right this time. I do like Michelle Bachman saying an executive order can't properly repeal obamacare, so we have to work on Mitt on that... he can issue the exeuctive order granting waivers BUT he still must go thru our legislative branch CONGRESS to get obamacare fully repealed.

I'm actually grateful to Perry for showing his true colors this early. This is much better than being wishy-washy vague on all things illegal so as to capture more votes. Candidates like this often get into office and then push a pro-immigration agenda that they had all along, but didn't wear on their sleeves. I know it would've been kind of hard to hide, given the TX in-state tuition for illegals, but he could've put a spin on it or said he'd build a border fence when he has no intention of doing so. So.... thanks Perry, for showing us your black aura up front. Now you're out of the race for sure and we just need to ferret out the truth from the other candidates.

presidential GOP field
I have been in Texas for 50 plus years and I can tell you first hand what a lying globalist Mr. Perry is. He is a Bush Clone. The GOP hasn't learned anything if they think the people will get in line for him. My only guess is that they are using him to boost Romney, so be very leary of Romney also. I know the GOP does dumb things but this one is a little over the top. Other than being better looking than Mccain, he is no different and if you pay close attention, the man is not that smart. He is however, one very good liar.

Sadly, I didn't hear that many boos...at least they didn't drown out the applause. Too many "Republicans" are drinking the RNC Kool-Aid..nominate a RINO who MIGHT beat Barry, but won't Rock the Boat on our Inside-the-Beltway, Globalist Elite Agenda. The RNC isn't even that concerned with beating Barry, IMO. They'll happily keep him around for another FIVE years, and blame all their failures on him.
You think Boehner wants to do any Heavy Lifting on real governance? Better to spout nonsense like" We only control one half [sic] of one third of the government.." which implies that judges have equal weight with the legislature on public policy. It also ignores the Constitutiional Power of the Purse that only the House of Representatives controls. Boehner has leverage; he'd just prefer not to use it.
As for the RNC, better to play the Victim Card than to actually face responsibility for the mess they gave us for eight yearss under El Presidente Jorge Boosh.Viva La Migra! [Hooray for the Border Patrol!] Viva Ramos! Viva Campean!* Good Riddance to El Presidente Jorge Boosh!

I agree, We all should just set out the election and let Obama deal with a GOP house and senate for 4 years, Maybe they will kill each other and we will all be better off.

"Perry was the first GOP candidate that the crowd booed tonight, and they started to boo as he rationalized his support for in-state tuition for illegal aliens," William Gheen, president of Americans for Legal Immigration Public Action Committee said in a written statement.
"We are about to see what we will call the 'Perry Plunge' in the polls," Gheen said, citing a survey from Rasmussen Reports that showed 81 percent of Americans oppose tuition subsidies for illegal immigrants.
