Super important folks I understand the Senate will vote Sunday on the immigration bill the gang of eight have accepted the latest amendment. This is what Obama wants and in my opinion will assure the GOP will not gain the senate in 2014 and could lose the house.

IMO Amnesty for illegals will push this country over the edge into demise and we the tax payer will be footing the bill for all the perks. The illegals will be the Dem's voting bloc so there will never be another GOP victory. We have to keep fighting against this and not stand down. Lets all keep calling our country is at stake!

Biden was here in Las Vegas they are having a LULAc convention..and from what I hear they are having trouble with the Arizona crowd. It seems they are having election and they are also having closed meetings ...tch tch tch tch
Controversy at Las Vegas LULAC Elections

Controversy boiled over at Saturday's League of United Latin American Citizens' (LULAC) national elections, held at Caesar's Palace.
Several members say dirty politics corrupted the voting process.

Almost 2,000 LULAC delegates flew into Las Vegas for the civil rights group's national convention, which concluded Saturday with elections for office positions, including picking a new president.

Domingo Garcia was the main opponent to incumbent Margaret Moran in the presidential run. However, Garcia's eligibility was in question during the convention. Organizers tells Action News a separate election was to held prior to the presidential election, in which two-thirds of voters needed to give Garcia the green light to proceed against Moran. Garcia says, "Allegedly, [LULAC's legal advisory board] issued a legal opinion that I didn't qualify because I hadn't been a member for three years in a row."

Organizers say rules have to be followed, and Garcia should have abided by the three consecutive year membership policy.

LULAC Executive Director Brent Wilkes says, "One of the rules is that you have to be a member in good standing for three consecutive years."

However, Garcia supporters say it's all a front meant to cover up the real issue, which they believe has to do with his opponent and her supporters wanting to play dirty to win the election.

Meanwhile, a group of more than 100 LULAC members from Phoenix say they've become the collateral damage of the political crossfire.

They say they're in good standing with the non-profit, but their voting rights were taken away once they got to the convention. Wilkes says those rights were stripped because their leader didn't pay his dues. However, the Phoenix members say the real reason is more serious than that.

Action News asks, "Ultimately, [do] you think this is a case of dirty politics because you [all] are in support of Domingo Garcia? LULAC-Phoenix representative Paul Castaneda says, "Absolutely. The [opponents] are clearly trying to suppress the vote."

Garcia adds, "Unfortunately, what we're seeing are some political dirty tricks to exclude people from voting, especially young people from Arizona."

Action News tried to talk to Margaret Moran about the allegations, but our crew was denied entry into the elections area.

According to a LULAC member, Garcia was ultimately disqualified from the race on Saturday afternoon due to the issues surrounding his membership status. Moran was re-elected.

Given that this amnesty has so many waivers in it, most illegal's won't be paying a dime, let alone back taxes of any kind. Given that, and the fact in spite of their many crimes many have committed, such as using false ID's , driving without licenses or insurance, forgery, etc. I think it is time to DEMAND (as they do), that for the next 10 years or more that we should have a reprieve from paying any taxes, and that includes property taxes as well. We should also demand that any of our citizens serving time for any like crimes be release for their crimes. Anyone in prison for tax evasion should be immediately release the day this amnesty passes. Even for more serious crimes, we should consider releasing them as obama did thousands of illegal's. It's time to demand equal treatment, and at the very least that should start with our taxes. If we DEMAND loud enough, maybe they will re-think this whole thing.
