A string of victories for our team!

    Friends of ALIPAC,

As we have been rushing from political battle to political battle, we have monitored several successes on our projects that we would like to share with you.

Last week, we learned that in-state tuition for illegals failed in Maryland! This means we now have victories against this kind of Dream Act Amnesty legislation in Arkansas, Colorado, Oregon, New Jersey, and Maryland in 2009! We are still attempting to determine status of such legislation in Wisconsin and Rhode Island.

We have also won a major victory in Maryland by shutting off licenses for illegal aliens this year! ALIPAC has worked for many years to cut off license access to illegals and now only three states remain... Hawaii, Washington, New Mexico. We are three states away from cutting of licenses for illegals nationwide!

Another victory that is approaching is that New Jersey Governor Jon Corzine is very likely to be defeated later this year by GOP challengers Chris Christie or Steve Lonegan. Corzine came out in favor of in-state tuition for illegals and both Christie and Lonegan came out against it, which sent Corzine's approval numbers to new lows. We hope every ALIPACer in New Jersey is focused on kicking many of the bad incumbents on the state level out of office this year! It takes focus, time, and money.

We called on ALIPAC supporters two weeks ago to oppose any federal financial bail out for pro-Amnesty newspapers in America.

Your calls and our press release set talk radio on fire from coast to coast.

Talk show hosts picked up the story and dedicated a lot of air time and from the feedback we are gathering it appears that almost every caller on every show was AGAINST any Bailout for newspapers! Massive opposition to the idea was expressed as little or no support for the idea surfaced. The verdict is still out, but it appears that we may have put a stop to any further discussions of a bailout for newspapers in DC, by using our national team to shine a light on the issue early on in their discussions of the plan.

Many thanks to those of you who took the time to contact Congress and your local talk radio shows to oppose an taxpayer welfare bailout for pro-amnesty newspapers!

While we failed to get the Obama administration to adequately secure the borders during the Mexican Flu outbreak, we did accomplish two important things.

One, our national release of the video regarding our border agents being ordered not to wear safety masks gathered so much national attention and generated so much outrage that members of Congress got involved and DHS changed the orders. Our agents are now allowed to wear the masks, if they want to and that is thanks to you, your volunteerism, and your support of ALIPAC.

Two, Obama has paid a heavy political price for refusing to secure the borders during the Mexican Flu outbreak.

More Americans are now aware of his Open Borders positions, that he is engaged in a plan shared by Bush, and that the borders were left open at the risk of American lives. This means that Obama cannot blame Bush for this problem and has made it clear that he lacks border security and enforcement credibility.

A lack of enforcement credibility was the main reason Bush and Chertoff failed to pass Amnesty in 2006 and 2007 against the tide of massive public opposition to their attempts.

More good news comes from the fact that the "big" May 1 amnesty marches around the nation fizzled, leaving organizers blaming the Flu outbreak for their low numbers.

Janet Napolitano is in retreat! She has finally retracted the documents that she and Obama had sent to all police officers in America accusing returning veterans and all of you concerned about illegal immigration as potential domestic terrorists out to harm officers and buildings!

Not only have the documents been retracted, but a bipartisan group of Democrats and Republicans in Congress are now calling for official investigations into those documents.

This is great news and a real opportunity here. We have our opponents retreating, while we are advancing on them.

Let's seize this opportunity to move forward!

Please contact your members of Congress today to ask them to join in the calls for formal investigations of those DHS Documents. Tell Congress you want to know who in America just tried to make police suspicious of our veterans and Americans who are concerned about illegal immigration.

Here is the latest article on this matter for you to review:

Call and write Congress and ask members to support the "House Homeland Security Committee resolution of inquiry" that requires Janet Napolitano to provide the sources of her bogus DHS reports.

Let's keep up the great work ALIPACers! Our combined efforts are leading to results and victories we can count!

I was surprised Enrique Morones came out in favor of quarantine.
I support enforcement and see its lack as bad for the 3rd World as well. Remittances are now mostly spent on consumption not production assets. Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)
