Texas suffers the monitary burden of anchor babies. JPS in Tarrant County hosts the birth of 7,000 anchor babies a year, Parkland in Dallas Co., has about 10,000 and I'm sure Harris and Travis have a comparable number. These are the county hospitals, not counting the births that might occur in private hospitals.

These children don't leave the hospital without the parents being fulling trained on how to use the welfare system to get everything they can. They call it "healthy family, healthy baby". The are sent to WIC, Section 8 housing, more low income medical services...

It's not hard to see the problem or how many people these babies anchor. Go to the Social Security office where they are sitting around getting the child's SS card or to the welfare office and WIC store.

One of Lamar Alexander's (TN) staffers said that birthright citizenship could be addressed at the state level. More lawmakers and Americans need to get this going nationwide, they need to educate the public, and the momentum to end this travesty will surely grow and be demanded by millions of Americans now paying for the anchor baby births and for the free services and benefits that is allowed for the family members through the births.

Illegal aliens are rewarded for criminal behavior and theft from Americans.

Giving to Alipac will help support the efforts of those working against illegal immigration and give media access for those efforts as well.

houston chronicle last year stated that their findings came to the results that 85 percent of the babies born in the two county hospitals in houston (harris county) and cost about 10 million a year

What keeps the illegal parents from using the child's SSN to get a job? And using it with E-Verify....

Nothing, and an excellent point vmonkey56. Many do name their children after themselves so they can use that number and be on their way to a life of freebies. And then they work legally through that number also. Another reason to end birthright citizenship.
