Thread: Time To Charge Against Amnesty!

Friends of ALIPAC,

The next few days are very important and we need all of you to come together as a team. We realize that many of you are fighting against the health care "reform" bill that they are trying to pass by Sunday.

In my opinion, the reason they want this bill through by Sunday, even if they have to use incredibly negative sounding tricks like Deem And Pass (Demon Pass) and the Slaughter Rule, is because when the illegals march on DC this Sunday the two issues of health care and illegal immigration become fused!

If they do not ramrod the health care through this weekend, by next Wednesday the entire country will realize how right Congressman Joe Wilson was when he yelled out "You Lie!" in response to Obama's claim illegals would not be covered by the health care legislation.

Those in Washington who are willing to ram highly unpopular legislation down the throats of Americans by using unconstitutional tricks, hope to blast through health care and then GO FOR AMNESTY NEXT. The illegal immigration Amnesty legislation threatens to destroy the health care legislation and vice versa in a huge legislative and political train wreck of sort.

SPRING INTO ACTION TODAY.

It will be hard to get through on the phones but pick up the nearest phone and using our contact information to call your member of Congress and both US Senators to say:

"Tell Congressman/Senator _____ DO NOT support Comprehensive Amnesty for illegal aliens. Comprehensive Immigration Reform Amnesty will hurt America and Americans and will only lead to more illegal immigration. We need Comprehensive ENFORCEMENT instead."

During your calls to Washington and during calls to talk radio shows you should use the terms 'Comprehensive Amnesty" or "Comprehensive Immigration Reform Amnesty".

Focus on the talking point "We need Comprehensive Enforcement, INSTEAD of Amnesty"

New members, please become accustomed to the politicians lying to you about not supporting Amnesty. Comprehensive Immigration Reform IS AMNESTY.

We the People, hereby declare our rights as citizens of the
United States and set forth the expectations we have of our government.
In order to protect our jobs from unfair
Prevent illegal aliens from entering the labor market and protect American jobs from those who have no legal right to be in the United States.

Conduct vigorous worksite enforcement against employers who hire illegal aliens; remove illegal workers.

Take immediate action to secure the border.

Oppose amnesty legislation that would provide millions of illegal aliens the legal right to compete for jobs.

Protect the American Worker from the flagrant abuse of guest worker programs that result in unfair competition for jobs and wage reduction.

Deny federal benefits to illegal aliens and institute meaningful verification
procedures to enforce such a policy; discourage states and local governments from offering benefits to those illegally in the U.S.

Ensure that taxpayer-funded measures intended to stimulate the economy or create jobs include safeguards that ensure such benefits go to legal U.S. residents only.

Ensure that the American Worker’s needs take precedence over those of
special interest groups operating on behalf of illegal workers, businesses that profit by displacing U.S. workers in favor of low-wage foreign labor, and political parties that seek to solidify their power base by advocating unlimited immigration.

Sensibly limit immigration so that there is a balance between the supply of labor and the demand for jobs.

Do not forget to call district offices for Congressional members, especially when the "busy" signal plays on and on. Send the emails too, and ask friends and family to do the same.

I have been adding my comments on illegal immigration, enforcement, etc., when calling on healthcare. The health care government takeover, and amnesty would see to it that we spiral into a third world nation, for the welfare and the free living that illegal aliens would receive, would bankrupt the United States even more.

WE HAVE TO REMOVE FROM OFFICE POLITICIANS (DEMOCRATS AND REPUBLICANS) WHO HELP ILLEGAL ALIENS. THIS NOVEMBER AND THE NEXT PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION, WE CAN DO JUST THAT, REMOVE THEM FROM OFFICE.

I AM TIRED OF THOSE POLITICIANS: THEY LISTEN TO ILLEGAL ALIENS. THEY MUST LISTEN JUST TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE. LET'S REMOVE THEM FROM OFFICE.

Since it seems amnesty is now linked to the health care bill in order to win the Hispanic Caucus votes, we need to oppose both bills. In other words if health care does not pass, there will be less pressure to pass amnesty as a payoff for the Hispanic caucus helping to pass health care. At least that is my take on it.

Oppose both, exactly. Mention both when calling. Public option is now coming up again, per Senator Harry Reid.

I just heard on radio the bill passed . is there another vote or is this it ?

They are still counting and possibly doing some arm breaking, no longer twisting.

There are 3 votes as I understand this. The final vote will be later.
