Unity Against Amnesty 2009 State Efforts California Countdown

Friends of ALIPAC,

Our historic efforts in California begin in a few days. We hope that each of you in California will tune in to the radio broadcasts and attend the events.

Our objectives in California are to do as much for our shared cause and our supporters in the state Feb. 18-22, and to rally as many new supporters to ALIPAC as possible.

The California effort will be the launch of a new campaign that will be of importance to our supporters and allied groups nationwide. We are calling our new rally cry "Unity Against Amnesty 2009"!

You can find the latest updates on the California effort on our homepage in announcements. Or you can visit this link directly for updates. We are adding more events and media appearances rapidly and we hope to be able to video podcast and radio broadcast materials from California for all of you who cannot join us on the ground.

We are launching our new state focus campaigns for 2009!

In 2008, our team dominated the illegal alien supporters in passing state laws that crack down on illegal immigration. Their team only got pro illegal alien legislation out of one legislature in California and we helped influence the Governor to veto those bills.

We must remind everyone that the state legislation effort has been our major strategy thrust for two years now.

For each state that cracks down, it makes it harder for the sellouts in Washington to pass an Amnesty bill to override all of the states!

The good news is that we are detecting a whole new wave of state legislation coming online in 2009.

The bad news is that the multi million dollar illegal immigration supporting groups plan to push back with more fervor this year. Their goal is to try and reverse our progress and get us playing defense. Pro illegal alien legislation has already been filed to give up your tax dollars to pay for illegal aliens to go to college in NJ, RI, and Washington state.

Unless we organize quickly we will lose our momentum against illegal immigration in the states.

We are pleased to announce special efforts are being launched by ALIPAC in Texas, North Carolina, and Connecticut.

If you would like to help in these states, please send an email to the following people and put the word "ALIPAC" and your state code in the subject line. Here are the key people heading up these state campaigns.

We need your help making calls, sending faxes, emails, and letters, and to possibly participate in a lobby day at the state legislatures in these states.

North Carolina

A link is being added to the Announcements section on the homepage for your convenience. We must work hard in many states simultaneously and fight our opposition on two fronts between the states and Washington, DC.

Remember, ALIPAC's strategies have been successful in a large number of states but our ability to win depends on your volunteerism.

So let us all gear up for a new and unprecedented push in the states in 2009 that starts now!

Please locate your state Representative and State Senator and contact them now to say "I want my state government to crack down on illegal immigration by empowering local and state police to enforce immigration laws, removing all taxpayer benefits from illegal aliens, and cracking down on ID theft and the employers of illegal aliens."

You can locate your state officials by using any online search engine to search for your state legislature website.

Go ahead and make contact and we will provide you with more tips and materials by e-mail alert and in our state focus campaign area.

Let's Roll!
