Thread: WARNING: The Illegals Are Marching on NC Stand With Us!

Friends of ALIPAC,

The illegal aliens and their supporters are marching on my home state of North Carolina. They have planned a series of events moving across the state to try and shutdown the 287(g) program. ALIPAC has played a strong roll in getting this program in motion across NC and the nation.

As many of you know, the 287(g) program helps local police determine the immigration status of suspects they arrest for crimes. This program saves innocent American lives, property, tax resources, and alleviates pressures on schools, jails, and hospitals because the illegal aliens with broader criminal involvement leave areas using 287(g). Many polls, such as the Zogby poll from April 2005, tell us that over 81% of Americans support local police enforcing immigration laws.

We have chosen to make our stand against them this Wednesday, April 8, 2009 in Graham, NC, which is in Alamance County. Alamance County is one of our political strongholds and the illegals and their handlers are coming to make false accusations against Sheriff Terry Johnson who has bravely taken the lead with the 287(g) program in North Carolina.

Please do everything you can to join us this Wednesday, since we need a strong turnout of Americans holding American flags in support of our police and in support of the 287(g) program.

I am personally attending this event and I need as many of you at my side as possible. Our allies in NC Voice and NC Listen have all activated their e-mail lists and have secured the permits for our event. At the latest check, the illegal alien supporting groups have no permits.

The Graham police will be on hand and the Alamance County Sheriff's Department is ready to assist them if needed. Our side is always peaceful and law abiding at these events and we hope the illegals will behave themselves. Alamance County is very different from Los Angeles and they would be well advised not to practice some of their more aggressive tactics that have been widely documented.

We will assemble between 2pm and 5pm on the 100 block of South Maple Street in Graham, North Carolina, in order to reflect the community's appreciation for their efforts in upholding the rule of law.

We will take up position just outside of the offices of Sheriff Terry Johnson and hope to be standing between his facilities and the illegal aliens and their supporters.

We estimate that the illegal alien supporters may muster between 100-200 strong, but now that they have recently become aware of our counter moves they may try to strengthen their numbers and pull more in from the Durham area.

Our event is open to Americans of every race and political party that represents the 81% of our citizens that support our police, immigration enforcement, the rule of law, and the 287(g) program.

All materials and signs brought to our side of the line must be cleared by the leadership of NC Voice, prior to display or circulation. Any groups, individuals, or materials not representative of our peaceful and multiracial political efforts will be removed from the area in which we hold the permits for.

We are aware of how tough it is for our supporters to attend things like this, especially short notice due to work and family.

However, we must make a strong stand on Wednesday and we need you to make sacrifices, do what it takes to be there and bring as many others as possible.

ALIPAC has stood side by side with others around the nation, when it was their turn to defend their police and communities.

Now the illegals are marching on my home state, with a confident political swagger, in the hopes of reversing the pro-enforcement progress we have made in North Carolina over the last few years.

If you absolutely cannot attend this event, try to get others you know in the area to go. You can also help from anywhere in the nation on Wednesday morning, by lighting up the phone lines and e-mail boxes at the NC General Assembly and ask lawmakers to support the 287(g) program via www.ncleg.net

We have recently won major political battles in Arkansas, Colorado, and New Jersey and now we need to defend our progress in North Carolina, by getting every man and woman to our side in Graham this Wednesday, April 8!

Why is it so difficult to find the list of legislators by state on your web site? It should be readily available if you want immediate action! Your recent e-mail alerts have provided lists which have made it easy to make contacts you requested. When that information is buried in state web pages or your site it is a deterent to ALIPAC members proceeding with the actions you request. I would love to send e-mails to NC legislators but I am unable to find contact information on your site. Please help your members help you!

Hi William. I will not be able to make the one on the 8th as I will be on my way to Baltimore. Please let me know if there will be another stand against them before May 10.

Whenever possible, and we have the time, ALIPAC volunteers try to do the legwork for you by taking several hours of their time to compile the list (if it is short enough) to provide it for you.

Many times, we are in a major rush and that is not possible.

In those cases, we need our supporters to learn how to simply click through on the links and access the info themselves which takes a few more seconds of time. Sometimes the lists are very large and cannot be inserted in emails.

Sorry about that, but nobody said that saving America was going to be a breeze.

I hope that you and others will click through on two or three links, instead of just one, when necessary and we will continue to try and make things as easy as possible when we can.

I plan on being there! I am directionally challenged ( can get lost going around the block) but I have plenty of time and the directions look pretty straight forward. I'll be carrying a thank you sign for the Sheriff's Office.

We really need something like this in California.
I was born and raised here and have watched it's demise and decline happen at an ever increasing rate, due to the uncontrolled influx of Illegal
Immigrants.
Our politicians are NO HELP. I believe that they are working against the American Citizens. Helping to add to a already stressed economy.
My last employer laid me off after 8 years,he prefers to hire illegals from Mexico

It would be GREAT if we could sway the politicians in favor of the AMERICAN worker. I have been trying , but my voice falls on DEAF or UNWILLING ears. Only to leave me feeling Spit upon. and VERY UNREPRESENTED
