Two Mexican soldiers in camouflage carrying assault rifles held border agents in a tense standoff on US soil, in January, the Los Angeles Times reported.
And the Obama administration did not even lodge a protest with the Mexican government. Nada.
And it was also revealed this wasn’t the first incursion of the Mexicans on our soil. It seems there have been a couple of dozen incursions into Southern Arizona since 2010.The January 26th standoff was reported as a foreign military incursion was withheld from people of the United States until the Times broke the story. The incursion lasted for 35 minutes and could have lasted longer, had not the Border Control agents not drawn their guns and radioed for help. The incursion was confirmed in a letter from US Customs and Border Protection Commissioner R. Gil Kerlikowske. The soldiers misidentified themselves and claimed they were after drug smugglers.
The Mexican soldiers were spotted by a Border Patrol agent entering the U.S. about 2.5 miles west of Sasabe Arizona shortly before 9 a.m. A second federal agent positively identified the two individuals in tan, digital camouflage uniforms, on foot traveling westbound, on the United States side of the International Boundary Fence Line, according to the report obtained by the newspaper. The Mexicans misidentified themselves to U.S. Border agents and claimed to be pursuing drug smugglers, the government documents say.

Kerlikowske admits that the intruders were “confirmed members of the Mexican military” but he asserts that U.S. border officials determined that no further action was necessary involving the matter.
NO FURTHER ACTION necessary….after an invasion?
Like a loyal Obama lapdog Kerlikowske claims military incursions from Mexico are infrequent though he was apparently forced to admit that there were 23 such incidents in the Tucson and Yuma sectors of Arizona since 2010, including three this fiscal year alone.
Although the soldiers claimed to be looking for drug smugglers, it is more likely that they were offering protection for at least one of the cartels. Arizona is a favorite route for the cartels. The porous borders we have under Barack Obama have facilitated drug and human smuggling over the past five years.
On Tuesday, the Mexican Embassy claimed the two men were not soldiers but drug smugglers dressed in military uniforms, but when the Times presented them with the confirmation of the incident, the embassy grudgingly admitted the men were indeed soldiers.
Ariel Moutsatsos, minister for press and public affairs at the Mexican Embassy tried to smooth things over with this explanation:
“Those individuals were part of a counter-narcotics operation, which had taken place a few minutes prior on the Mexican side of the border. The two members of the Mexican army did not see any sign notifying them that they were crossing the border.”
So which is it? First they claimed they were drug smugglers. They they admitted they were Mexican Army. Now they claim they were narcotics agents? What utter nonsense. The Mexican Army is providing cover and escorts for the cartels, under a Pieto administration which has promised to “end” the “bloody war” with those cartels.
So where is Obama? MIA, as with Ukraine, Iran, China and on and on. Weakness is exploited, and it will only get worse.
