[Watch] White on Black “Reverse Knockout Game” Attack Draws Intense Media Attention

A 25-year-old man from the Redford Township area of Detroit was punched in the head for no apparent reason on Monday night in what is being described as a knockout game type of incident.

Jermaine Findley, who suffers from epilepsy, was injured in the attack.

Once again the stupidity of this violence is on display. Calling these acts a game does not make them any less dangerous. A random violent assault on innocent and unsuspecting victims is cowardly and abhorrent, regardless of race. In this case, it was a white man striking a black man.

That is an unusual turn of events. Usually, it is a black perpetrator and the victim is a non-black.

The most unusual aspect of this case was the intensive news coverage it was given. The ordinary events where a black male assaults a white or other victim are generally not newsworthy enough to be covered. This one came complete with a street-side vigil, with the victim out holding a sign, an interview with the mother of the victim, and a display of his shaking hand as a result of his medical condition.

No mention was made that this “game” originated with black perpetrators and that this incident of a white attacker is unusual.

Whoever did this should be held accountable and locked up. At the same time, isn’t it time for the reverse racism to stop in the media? This stupidity has been going on for months now and it is only now, in this circumstance that it is worthy of attention.

When attacks like this happen, it is regrettable, regardless of the color of the assailant or the victim. When it is ignored by the media until the preferred color combination of assailant and victim presents itself, it is equally regrettable.

Agree but when leadership is corrupt so goes part of society.

Cowards and bullies attack people that can't defend themselves. The people that do this are nothing but low rent trash and should be in jumpsuits cleaning the streets a whisk broom , changing beds and bed pans in nursing homes while wearing signs that say " I am a coward". It would give them something constructive to do. JMO

A widely-circulated video uploaded to the Internet Sunday appears it could show an individual’s failed attempt at playing the “knockout game,” ending instead with the attacker being the one knocked to the ground and beaten by his intended victim.
Originally uploaded to video sharing website World Star Hip Hop, the video received more than 2 million views in its first 24 hours and is titled “Instant Karma: Dude Tries to Knock Woman Out But Ends Up Getting Rocked By Her and Her Boyfriend in Las Vegas!”
The video appears to show a male assailant initially running through an unknown mall toward a woman. As he closes in, the camera cuts away for a brief moment.
Once it refocuses on the incident, the alleged attacker is on the ground and being struck multiple times by the woman he supposedly tried to attack.

Seconds later, an unidentified male — who, according to the video’s title, may be the woman’s boyfriend — enters the scene and kicks the alleged assailant near his face.
“You just hit her bro,” he says, as the woman continues to beat the man and multiple bystanders begin to flood the scene.

One bystander moves forward and the unidentified male repeats, “He just hit her man!”
“Yeah, he did,” echoes one bystander.
“He just hit her,” adds the cameraman.
“Oh s***. Dude he’s f***in—,” the cameraman continues. “His nose is bleeding dude. Oh my gosh.”
The video ends with a bystander tending to the alleged assailant who was still on the ground.
It was unclear if this attack was related to the “knockout game,” where the object is for an individual to knock a random individual unconscious with just one punch.
It was also unclear when this incident took place and who the individuals depicted are.
TheBlaze has reached out to several malls in the Las Vegas area and the Las Vegas Police Department and will update this story with new information.
