I'm going to be at the local Agricultural Exposition Fair this weekend, doing research on what kind of innovations we can be expecting, or are already on the market. This video showed lettuce harvesting, and it was commendable that the farmer stated that they had already employed quite a lot of machinery. Some crops are going to be a lot harder to harvest than others.

We've discussed some potential labor solutions on this board. It was interesting that they said much of their former labor had gone on to other vocations.

I had not heard of this company but they make a number of harvesting devices. Have fun looking!

There are 200,000 or more day laborers in this country standing
    on street corners

    also our prisons are stuffed

Tell me again how we have a shortage of farm labor?

An American company! Great site! They seem to be putting together equipment for a lot of the ag industry.

Maybe those states who think they can't get crops in without illegals should buy the machines, rent them out, and repay some of the money taken from their tax payers so the polits could provide the ag industry with cheap labor.
