“Earned citizenship” is a path to amnesty on matter what you

“Earned citizenship” is a path to amnesty on matter what you call it.
    “$2,000" is cheaply bought amnesty.
    “Work”is a reward.they came her to work.
Pay “back taxes” for 2 out of 5 years? Any Americans would like to pay taxes 2 out of 5 yrs.”
“Felon or 3 misdemeanors”? How do you send them and millions back to their country and those who have been here less than 5 years. How do you get criminals out of the prisons. Close the border take them out of our prisons and send them home by the bus loads.
Out of the “shadows” they are not and never have been “in the shadows” they work, pay taxes with stolen or false social security cards. They live, go to school and buy houses and cars here.
Illegals left jobs, homes and families in Mexico and came here. No one forced them here. There would be no reason for them to stay here if there were no jobs for them. They are Mexico’s problem and not ours. We have our own problem with the poor, homeless and mentally ill. They can leave here and go back to Mexico they same way they came. “Anchor babies” is not excuse for them to stay. If that were the case they all have “anchor babies” because they can use them to stay. They should have duel citizenship.
20million illegals do not work the fields, wash dishes, mow lawns and care for our homes and children. They are taking jobs from Americans. They are working here to supply their own need for food, housing, etc. Americans have always provided for themselves. The more that come means more that is needed. The farmer has to grow more food, more houses has to be built, etc. More food the farmer grows, the more money her makes with the help of our government. This do not benefit the American people because we do not live in all the houses that are built and do not eat all the food that is produced. There are unskilled Americans and they do the work that illegals do and it is insulting for anyone to say they won’t. 27% of the workers in the fields are Americans.

    grannylady,
Right you are. Earned citizenship = Amnesty for illegal aliens.

Why is the R party trying to trick us?
Do they take us for fools? Do you want to support someone who uses their creative energy to try to trick you and scam you? My position is NO AMNSETY. Anything that allows illegal aliens already in the country to stay is amnesty. In fairness I have told the R party this. NO AMNSETY.....but IF amnesty becomes law I will vote against every R on the ballot on election day 2006 and support the position that the "price" of amnesty should be loss of the R majority.

We have all told the Republican Party this and we have all told the Democratic Party this. Have any of them listened?

The price of amnesty should be the loss of your seat no matter what your party affiliation.

President Bush wants amnesty and then some - the Democrats all want amnesty and then some - so we put them together and give them total reign?

The Repbublicans have nothing to crow about - but there are a few. Right now they are the only ones who are even saying anything. Some of them are the only ones are are listening to us. So why should all of them be replaced by a Democrat who hasn't spoken up for us?

The majority means nothing to this President - the Democrats have went along with him on everything he wants.

We don't have time to vote an experiment or a punishment. We need to make this vote count. It may just be the last vote where we may really count.

Don't waste it voting for a party - use it to vote for a man/woman who might help us - not for a party we know has been against us all along.
