Obama what is he?
It really baffles me that people would vote for Obama when he calls himself an African-American. How can a person that is running for the Office of the President Of The United States call himself anything other than an American.
By Obama calling himself an African-American he is putting the continent of Africa before America, you cannot serve two masters. Read what Teddy Roosevelt said in 1907 about this very thing. *In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person's becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American...There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag... We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language... and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people.*Theodore Roosevelt 1907
That also goes to the heart of the immigration problem. Think before you vote as the President can do much damage in 4 years. If Obama was tough on the trade gap, tough on the illegal immigrant problem and had a clue about the real working American people I would vote for him. By the way him and Hillary both voted NO to English as the national language. All of these liberal idiots need to stop the PC crap before its too late to turn back."Ask not what your country can do for you but ask what you can do for your country"-John F. Kennedy

My family actually knew Theodore Roosevelt my grandfather got hired to represent him on a real estate purchase at one point. This quote gets taken out of context and over used. In fact he considred himself quite ethnic depending on the occasion. I do not support Obama but I do not think that he will be a more ethnic focused politician than were the Kennedys.
I support enforcement and see its lack as bad for the 3rd World as well. Remittances are now mostly spent on consumption not production assets. Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Quote(I do not support Obama but I do not think that he will be a more ethnic focused politician than were the Kennedys.)Quote
I disagree I'm very concerned he will be in-part due to his spouse, one must look at the package, I've followed this race very close I thought perhaps he could be the person to make some changes we need however after some months of reading/research for me there is no way while I don't like McCain I will vote for him to simply vote against Obama.I'm old with many opinions few solutions.

That's great Richard but the bottom line is either you are an American or you are not. My grandfather who raised me came over from Europe in the early 1920s through Ellis Island. In all of my years growing up I never heard him call himself anything other than an American and I never heard either him or my grandmother speak anything other than English although German was their first language. I remember being about 11 years old and I asked my grandfather to teach me German and he said to me "We are Americans, we speak English".
I want my POTUS to be American and only American, I do not want him or her to have allegience to any other country but America, PERIOD....."Ask not what your country can do for you but ask what you can do for your country"-John F. Kennedy

Listen to the kids. My son and I both watch McCain and Obama
And he is in the 12th G he told me that he stated that he did not like Obama and he was ask if he was a racist - If Obama would clearly state that he would lower taxes , stop illegal immigration and drill drill drill He would have my support but he is a flip flop on everything ,,, only tells me that he will tell you what you want to hear, so he can be president., and he may be a racist, he did love Rev Wright until……..

Obama has already said he is a "World Citizen". It's the latest fad among the far left, they are the same nutty people who supported and nominated him.
Of course I always tell these nut cases if they are a "World Citizen" they either need to give 90% of their income to the UN, or move to Botswana.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Well, Obama marched with the illegals May 1st 2005 did he not?
This forum is for those who want something done about immigration and not necessarily amnesty. So Obama's actions tells you who he is does it not?

No Offense to anyone.
Obama has stated more of what he's not going to do than what he is. At the Democratic convention there were AA's jumping up and down and screaming for Obama.
If these AA's were ask how much they knew about Obama and what was it that he's said that made them vote for him, I'll bet that 99% would not have an answer other than his nationality.
I don't care about his color, It's just that I have not heard Obama say anything about improving some of the major problems we have.
He wants to "make a change we can believe in". That motto leaves him wide open to where it could mean just about anything.
Well, ignoring the problems and going against the citizen will sure make a big change------------------------
Thank you! We are ready to roll.
