He did not come here as an illegal alien and he didn't know that he was illegal. He thought he needed to file for some things so he went to ICE. He was intending to abide by our laws.
There is a big difference between someone like him who came here and was under the care of someone (not a burden to our economy or society) and thinks he is obeying our laws vs someone who sneaks in and robs the taxpayers of social service benefits and steals jobs from american workers.
He was not intentionally violating our laws. Mexican illegals know very well they are illegal and intend to be illegal. We should at minimum let the kid finish highschool then let him go back to Germany on his own.
In some states we are giving hispanic illegal aliens free college tution and this kid just wants to finish highschool and we won't let him? Talk about discriminationFree Ramos and Compean NOW!

according to the article he was illegal because his grandfather screwed up and didnt file the paperwork to extend his visa-
of course this wasn't the kids fault-
I think what I was trying to say was that the 20 million mexicans illegals will use the same excuse and already do-
it is bizarre that they actually acted on this case , when they ignore the evidence of illegal immigration from mexico and latin america all the time

No RHYME nor REASON to how ICE enforces, or DOES NOT enforce, or laws. Consistency would be the key though. What's good for the goose, etc.
